Why is it so difficult to convert a Raw image to a jpeg in Photoshop Elements ?! I have version 12. Once i realized to change the tick box in Camera Raw to 8 bit instead of 16 bit and Flatten image ( sometimes can flatten image if the flatten option isn't greyed out) hey presto i thought i was up and running. However after saving the photograph as a jpeg and renaming it e, after the word edit. I switched off/on my computer only for all the images i had spent time working on to have disappeared. Feeling very upset as there is no Technical Help to telephone at adobe and i don't know what to do.

My daughter has had her Razr for about 9 months now. About two weeks ago she picked up her phone in the morning on her way to school when she noticed two cracks, both starting at the camera lens. One goes completely to the bottom and the other goes sharply to the side. She has never dropped it and me and my husband went over it with a fine tooth comb. We looked under a magnifying glass and could no find any reason for the glass to crack. Not one ding, scratch or bang. Our daughter really takes good care of her stuff, but we still wanted to make sure before we sent it in for repairs. Well we did and we got a reply from Motorola with a picture of the cracks saying this was customer abuse and that it is not covered under warranty. Even though they did not find any physical damage to back it up. Well I e-mailed them back and told them I did a little research and found pages of people having the same problems. Well I did not hear from them until I received a notice from Fed Ex that they were sending the phone back. NOT FIXED!!! I went to look up why and guess what there is no case open any more for the phone. It has been wiped clean. I put in the RMA # it comes back not found, I put in the ID #, the SN# and all comes back not found. Yet a day earlier all the info was there. I know there is a lot more people like me and all of you, but they just don't want to be bothered so they pay to have it fix, just to have it do it again. Unless they have found the problem and only fixing it on a customer pay only set up. I am furious and will not be recommending this phone to anyone. And to think I was considering this phone for my next up grade! NOT!!!!

Photoshop elements 12 won't load up on my PC. The first time I try to load it up I get a large egg timer, which lasts about 3 seconds. The programme then closes and if I try to load it again I get the circular icon which spins for 1 second and disappears.

Please try resetting preferences?
On Windows: Goto %appdata%\Adobe\Elements Organizer\12.0\Organizer folder and rename the files “psa.prf” (to say psa_old.prf) and “status.dat” (to say status_old.dat).
Try launching Organizer and see if it launches fine.

Have you rendered both iOS 7 and iOS 8 (both of which will work on your iPhone 5) out of the question entirely without trying every possible configuration? The animations can be disabled entirely, if that's the problem. And if the whiter-brighter user interface is the problem, there's reverse-contrast modes that darken everything. You can expose accessibility controls to gain immediate access to these functions to toggle them on and off. I guess my point is you may have decided against upgrading the OS based on an early experience with iOS 7 when Apple has since made changes in later revisions to address some of the usability complaints.
Now, Apple's instructions for downloading older versions of apps is to do so from the Purchased list, not from the app's product page.

With Measurement&Automation explorer you should be able to modify the serial port ALIAS to "COM3"

This problem showed up last year spent 2 months with apple senior supervisor for tech support no solution. When the "new" itunes came out problem fixed its self. Just did an update last week or so and back to the problem. In "get info" missing all rt side

Last year upon an update some of my itunes media was not working. Then the new version came out and it fixed itself.
Well another update and we start over with the problem. In the itunes store you can not preview any tv show, music video, or movie.
In your itunes library none of the purchased movies, tv shows, or music videos play. The element the same is in the get info tab. The information in the right side pane in the middle is gone. The left side information is still present. The right side info is the purchase info. Even an item downloaded today had the missing info and will not play. After dealing with apple support with the first go around last year. I uninstalled and reinstalled itunes 8 or more times, in the proper order. I deleted my itunes library and reinstalled it. We deleted all types of program files and program data. nothing worked. I was trying things on my own and foung nothing. Please help I am so frustrated with this. It seems to be a codec error that I can not solve.

How do I play the songs in succession on my computer instead of just 1 song at a time?

In ITunes on my computer (not my IPod) the songs no longer play in succession. Only 1 song at a time will play. How do I remedy this so I can listen to an entire playlist?

I just put check marks next to each song in a playlist and now they all play in succession.

When I open up a new tab on firefox, the bar shows that the tab is there, but when I click on it, it is the same page as what I have before. When I try to change the page on the "new tab" the original tab changes. Why does this happen and how do I fix it?

This problem is even occuring as I type this information. I tried to click a "show details" button and it didn't work. The tab "opened" but I couldn't get the page to switch to the tab after clicking on it.

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Is there any way to change the redaction square to an absolute square instead of an angled one?

I use a HP laptop PC. I design bead patterns and some of the numbers need to be changed. When I use the redaction tool, it crops off some of the numbers on the line above because it goes to an angle instead of staying straight. I would love for the redaction box to stay in a square box and not angle off.

You also need to state which version of PSE you are using. I am sure Barbara, who is expert in Mac OSX, will need this info.
Form Windows point of view, if you are trying to login to "Photoshop.com" then you simply can't because it no longer exist. If you are using PSE12 then login is manadatiry and so this needs to be sorted out.

Change the launch default to Adobe Reader 9 (instead of Acrobat 6)?

I have Adobe Reader 9 and Adobe Acrobat 6 both loaded. Until a week ago I could launch
PDF files in a broswer without difficulty. They would launch in Adobe Reader 9. Now when I try to launch a PDF in a browser Adobe Acrobat 6 launches and I get a message:
"The Adobe Acrobat / Reader that is running cannot be used to view PDF files in a web browser. Adobe Acrobat version 8/9 is required."
It seems that Acrobat 6 is the default now for PDF files. How do I change the default Adobe Program that launches back to Adobe Reader 9?

Why can't I scan a regular photo at 1200 x 1200 dpi into Photoshop Elements 11?

When I try to scan a photo into Photoshop Elements 11 Organizer I get an error message saying it didn't get the file from the device. File exceeds maximum size allowed. It's only a regular photo at 1200 x 1200 dpi. I need it high quality so simply scanning a photo at that resolution shouldn't be a problem.

That makes perfect sense, except I've discovered a problem with my scanning software. The scanner is capable of 1200 x 1200 dpi but the software only allows 300 dpi. It's seems to be a glitch in the current software that needs an update, but in the meantime I was trying to use PSE as a work around since the scanner company said that's what I should use. I hope there's another solution available in PSE. Thanks for the suggestion.

Why is alternative text is still visible after an image is displayed (e.g., in Dropbox and Google mail)?

When I go to my Dropbox page or my Google e-mail page, both the images for icons AND their alternative text is shown (I tried to upload two images illustrating this but the "Upload image" seems to have hung). I am using the lastest version of Firefox for Linux.
