Hi, very important emails have taken 12, 14 and 10 hours to reach my inbox. Therefore it was too late for me to carry on with my action regarding them.
I noticed that the last one was actually sent to me at 9.50am and I received it at 7.50pm !!! I should have received it within a few minutes.
Can anyone help me? as it is very important that I respond to these emails within an hour of them being sent.

If they are that important, then I would suggest that you use an alternative e-mail service. If these e-mails are business related, then you are not allowed to your BT Residential account for business use anyway.
BT Business, and other commercial e-mail systems, are guaranteed to deliver mail quickly.

Why is it taking so long for my money to show up in my bank account?!

I sent money from paypal to my bank account sunday 7/26/15 from what I read it takes 3-5 business days to clear from paypal to my bank account well today is 7/29/15 and my paypal account says "completed" but the money is not in my bank account! what is going on and why is it taking so long?! Why is it taking so long for folders to open in Explorer?

I have noticed that when I click on a folder in Explorer (not IE), the green status bar moves slowly across the top and it takes maybe 5 seconds for the folder to open. The drive that has the folder is indexed as far as I know. I have also noticed in M$ Access that queries are taking much longer to run than in Vista.
Could these two be related in some way?

Mostly, the issue is caused by third party software. Does the issue occur in Safe Mode or Clean boot?

How to take a Clean Boot

1. Click Start, type "MSCONFIG" (without the quotations) in the Search Bar and Press "Enter" to start the System Configuration Utility.
2. Click the "Services" tab, check the "Hide All Microsoft Services" box and click "Disable All" (if it is not gray).
3. Click the "Startup" tab, click "Disable All" and click "OK".
4. Restart the computer and test the issue.
Note: Clean Boot is a troubleshooting step. If some programs have been disabled, we can re-enable them later. If you see the System Configuration Utility, check the box of "Don't show this message" and then click "OK".
Please monitor the system in the Clean Boot environment. If the problem does not occur, it indicates that the problem is related to one application or service we have disabled. You may use the MSCONFIG tool again to re-enable the disabled item one by one to find out the culprit.

Why is it taking do long for my free mountain lion upgrade?

I don't understand why I should have to apply for an upgrade when I bought the computer within the grace period for A free upgrade .Then after submitting the application I never even got a confirmation email. The whole reason I didn't just wait to buy the MacBook pro was because I was eligible for the
Upgrade for free. If I don't receive my code today I will just return the machine and re buy a new one with mountain lion pre loaded.

Welcome to the vaunted "Apple Experience".... If all 4 million of us (and did they really sell that many things eligible for an upgrade?) showed up unannounced for a genius bar appointment at our Apple store to request our Mountain Lion upgrade redemptions, we could really get their attention.
Right now it is rumoured that Apple is outsourcing the verification of our claims to DogBert's Elbonian workers at 31 cents an hour. They get to read our personal proofs of purchase and decide if they look real or fake. But because that process would be too involved, it has been reported that the Elbonians instead print out each claim, fold it into a paper airplane, and judge the validity of the claim by how far the paper airplane flies. Because it is Dogberts Elbonian workers who are using mountains of paper in this futile exercise, Apple can deny that they are personally responsible for mowing down whole forests to print these millions of proofs.
If we all showed up at the Genius bar, Apple would instead be forced to have $8.45/hr. workers deal with our requests. And all they would be able to tell us is send a claim to Dogbert, so we wouldn't adversely impact Dogbert's workers. The Apple store blue shirts, unable to solve our problem, would at least be able to ask us how it feels to be an Apple owner, and offer consolation why trying to sell us a nano....
Let's just hope the upcoming war in Elbonia doesn't get in the way of the codes....

Why is it taking so long to import photos to my iphone and ipad?

My configuration: iMac 2007, 10.9, OS 7.0.3 on all devices, iPhoto directory on external Firewire drive.
It's always taken a while for my devices to complete the "Importing photos" step of the syncing process - maybe 2-5 minutes.
Since the iOS 7 update, and iTunes 11.1, that process is taking up the 30 minutes! I have a very large iPhoto libray (260 gb and over 49,000 items) that is stored on an external Firewire drive. All that is set to sync are several relatively small photo albums that rarely change, and a smart album consisting of "Last 3 Months." The sync takes forever, regardless of whether any new photos have been added recently. I'm seeing the same behavior on my iPhone 5 and iPad Mini.

That show that your original library is damaged and needs to be repaired. Apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
2 - run Option #4 to rebuild the database.

Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 - download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
2 - click on the Add Library button and select the library you want to add in the selection window..
3 - Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the Library ➙ Rebuild Library menu option.
4 - In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
5 - Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments but not books, calendars or slideshows. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

So are we to assume that the preview for developers is the WP 8.1 update intended for Lumia Icon users? Why is it taking so long for this update to be released?!

Of those of you that have tried out the preview for developers on the Lumia Icon, what issues have you seen from it? Does it in fact void your warranty?

I don't think you should give up on Windows Phone. I think you should instead give up on Verizon. I bought adobe photoshop elements 13 from amazon. When I went to activate it the number I need is missing. I guess the sticker on the back of the box was removed. So I contact adobe by chat and get an impatient support person who doesn't wait for me to send the receipt by an attachment....took all of a few minutes to do.....and opens a case. According to the email I received I now have to wait for adobe to respond. That was2 days ago and still waiting. Sorry I bought the program.

We (the school) has recently purchase Ipads and Apple TVs to use in the classroom. We have plugged the Apple TV into our projector through HDMI. Yesterday it worked fine for most of the day and then the Promethean board went haywire. Today we think we have resolved the issue but now the Apple TV is just stuck at the "Activating" window.

Stuck on whast step? 1, 2. or 3? Is iTunes uploading? If so this stage is highly dependent on the speed of your upload connection to the internet which is, generally, never as fast as your download speed. For example most basic DSL connections is the US are 1.5 Mbps down/256 Kbps up.

Alright, just to get that one project out of the way, lets go to the source of the project.
Open a Finder window and navigate to
"Username" > Movies >iMovie Projects > "Your Project.rcproject"
There you will be able to delete the Original file.
