Why is it that app I already own don't show in the App store as owned.
I have apps like iphoto,iwork,etc that came with my computer when I purchased it on disk. When I go to the app store the store shows that I need to purchase the app even though it's installed on my computer already.
It's possible that these apps are hidden, so unhide the apps > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4928 After doing it, you will be able to download and update these apps for free

WHy is it that each time I get an upgrade some of my Apps won't work when they did with the previous version. I have just upgraded to v7.01 and now I cannot send email, wake up Apple and get it right as I am a new user of Apple technology and not impressed.
That's one of the weird things.. it recognizes it maybe 10% of the time. And usually, only after I do the two-button reset. Problem is.. since it won't charge above 2%, anytime I try to do a restore or anything like that using iTunes, my device shuts off and I lose whatever progress I'd made.
So, an update... after reading through a bunch of similar complaints (there are literally 1000's of them so there's NO WAY this isn't somehow ios7 related, thanks a lot APPLE ) I decided to try a restore in recovery mode. After 3 hours and several disconnections... I ended up having to just set it up as a new iPad, as the restore did nothing. Weirdly though... as I was doing the restore in recovery mode.. I noticed I'd gotten up to a 10% charge.. higher than it's been since September, so after setting it up as a new device, I turned it off and plugged it in using the wall charger. 2 hours later and I was up to 38%. Still not great, as my iPad, before ios7 could've fully charged twice in the amount of time it took for me to now get 28% more of a charge. And that's with a fully cleaned out device.. so that really ***** and I'm now more confused than ever.
But I'm gonna leave it overnight charging and see what I come up with tomorrow. Sadly, when I paid $600 for it in February, I never expected to have to play "wait and see" with it... -
i own a ipod touch and a ipad2g but i lost my ipod touch and downloaded the find iphone app on my ipad and when i opened the app my ipod touch wasnt even listed on it as one of my products but i use the same apple id for all of my products??!! Please Help
Ive never used that but I think there is a find ipod app. But im not sure. The ipod might have had to have it on?

when the apple review team review our app，they point out that our app uses a background mode but does not include functionality that requires that mode to run persistently。but in fact，when the app in background ，the app need data update to make the function of trajectory replay come ture。in fact， we have added function when the app is in background mode。we have point out the point to them by email。but they still have question on the background mode，we are confused，does anyone can help me，i still don't know why do review team can't find the data update when the app is in background and how do i modify the app，or what is the really problem they refered，do i misunderstand them？

i keep getting banner that there is 8 apps to be updated, when i go to the App Store it says all app are updated, how do i get this to stop?
It seems that every time I start up the IPad the banner over ITunes shows 8 or more in the banner. I have completly signed off of the ipad and it still comes up. Any suggestions? It seems to have coincided with IOS 7 being released, I have not downloaded IOS 7 to my IPad or my Iphone at this time.I"m not sure exactly what to do because once I got mine sorted out I can't exactly replicate it to test it, but it's like somehow your ID gets messed up.
I tried to download an app, then Apple thought that I'd never bought anything from my device so went through the whole 'give your secret questions' thing and ended up having to call apple to get them to reset.
Long story short, the inability to update has something to do with the App Store not recognizing your device, even though part of it does recognize your device (which is why you get the little badges)
You could try downloading a free app and see if you can verify your ID. Or you can poke around in here

Hi , I have an iPhone 5S and I have got a problem with the app store : iI can't update my apps , it is asking me to change frim the UK store to go to the french one , but i have already changed it and I am in the French one !! Help !
Have you tried signing out of your iTunes & App Store on your device and then back in again - Settings>iTunes & App Store, click on Apple ID, then on Sign Out. Then sign in again and see if it accepts the password.
If that doesn't resolve the issue, try resetting your device (nothing will be lost): Hold down the Home and Power buttons at the same time and continue to hold them down until the Apple appears (up to 30 seconds). Once the reset is complete, the Slide to Unlock screen will display. See if the problem is resolved.

On my older Macbook at work, calendar stays full screen whether I exit the app or restart the computer (similar to Mail - which is staying in full screen on both computers).
Please help me adjust settings so I don't have to keep putting Calendar into full screen.

It fixed porblem (for the moment) by reinstalling PS6 and NOT installing the 13.03 update which, although said it was performance related, probaly had that trial messge embeded in it. The application called VirusScan that comes preloaded on the macbook will no longer open, claiming that it is corrupt and that I must reinstall it. After looking in the app store it does not appear that said application is available for re-downloading. Is there a special, non-app store place where I am to go for this?

As for VirusScan, Barney is right on the money that it does not come preinstalled on any Mac shipped new from Apple. However you have gotten it, your best bet is removing it. Where is your Calculator application located? Before you can put it into the Dock you need to remove the Question Mark. Select it with the mouse and drag it out of the until it "poofs" away. Now locate Calculator and drag its icon into the Dock.

I have an iPad that has one app that loads to only 72%. Apple tells me that the app is no longer available in canada but it has content that I paid for. How do I get the app to work again?
If it's not available in your country and you do not have a copy of it in iTunes backed up on your computer, you don't.

About 1 year ago, I can not access the App Store. The message that appears is: "One Moment Please. Connecting to the iTunes Store. Loading ... " I've tried all the aids presented in this and other forums and nothing solves. iTunes connects normaly...

If that is correct, updating your system software may help.
Click Software Update from the Apple menu.
Restart your Mac after updates are installed then try the App Store.
If you can't update that way, there's a workaround.
Install the OS X Lion Update 10.7.5 (Client Combo)
Then restart your Mac and try the App Store.

Authorize the computer in iTunes -- Store>Authorizie this computer. Transfer the purchases from the iPad into iTunes and then you can sync with iTunes. Read this for instructions on transferring purchases from the iPad into iTunes.

You installed a hacked app, originally from the Mac App Store. It contains the receipt for a different app, downloaded using an account that you don't control. You need to identify and remove the hacked app.
Important: The app you need to remove is not necessarily the one named in the App Store notice. For example, if the App Store says you need to update "Twitter," the hacked app may be "Angry Birds" or something else entirely. Don't make any assumptions about which app you're looking for. To find it, you have to carry out a systematic search.

Log out and log back in. Test.
