Why is it when I go to a website, it shows a blank page until I hit the refresh button?

When I visit any website, at first, it shows nothing and stops loading. It is not until I hit the refresh button that the site will load. It is like I have to visit the page twice before it works. I have checked my connections, inside and out. I have called my ISP and had them run some tests. I have downloaded Firefox again and re-installed. I have also cleared my cookies/cache completely and the problem persists.

Help! My email push isn't working even when I hit the refresh button!

Please help me. I got a Palm Pixi in December. It worked perfectly until about 2 weeks ago. It suddenly stopped pushing my email, including when I hit the refresh button! I spent many many hours on the phone with both verizon and palm, we tried starting and restarting the phone, removing and adding my accounts, we even tried a partial wipe of the phone. Nothing worked. So both verizon and palm assured me that my brand new phone must be defective, they sent me a new palm pixi promising me that my email push problems were a fluke and that it would never happen again. I got my new phone a week ago, it worked fine until yesterday- the same push problem is back! I've been on live chat with a palm technician for almost 2 hours now, we've set and reset my email settings, we've reset the account settings in the phone, and it still doesn't work!
Please somebody, tell me what the fix is for this!
I need this phone for my job.
Because this problem didn't start until the end of my 30 day trial period, I can't exchange this phone now, and I can't afford to pay retail price for a new phone so I'm stuck with this phone even though this problem is not my fault!! I have to make this work!
Verizon and Palm promised me that this problem would never happen again, that it was a one time fluke based on a defective(though brand new device)- based on this assurance, I exchanged phone and now I am stuck. I spent hours on the phone on monday with palm support updating/changing my email settings on the phone and when that didn't work he sent me the webos doctor instructions via email to try on my own. I did that last night, and guess what? It still didn't work! As per usual, the solution either doesn't work at all, or it works for a bout an hour and then stops working.

First verify that all your email settings are correct as they may have changed.
Service provider settings frequently change. If your email account was working but you are currently experiencing problems, check with your service provider to find out whether any of the account settings have changed. You may need to manually change some email settings on your device.
Next, update the PRL on the device by dialing *228 send and option 2.
If the problems persist, try doing a Master Reset on the device.
Master Reset
Tap and slide finger up on center gesture area
Slide screen to the left twice
Tap Device Info
Tap and slide screen up to show Reset Options
Tap Reset Options
Select from the following Options:
Restart - Will restart device
Shut down - Will power off device
Partial Erase - Warning: Erases applications you installed and all application settings and data. Does not erase personal files stored on the USB Drive.
Full Erase - Warning: Erases applications you installed and all application settings and data. Also erases personal files stored on the USB Drive.

See if any of the following help.
Try turning the account off and on : Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars , then tap the account on the right, slide Mail to 'off', exit settings and go back into the Mail app, and then go back to Settings and slide Mail back to 'on'
If that doesn't work then try closing the Mail app completely : from the home screen (i.e. not with the Mail app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Mail app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
Also do a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Why does Google place a dialogue message saying that I am leaving Google search and being directed to Maps. How do I get rid of it as it freezes up my page until I select the cancel button.

I am getting a pop up message each time I open a page in my Google browser. I cannot access the page unless I cancel the message first. I use a SIM card on my IPad 2, but it also does this on a friends ipad as well with a different IOS version and on wireless. I am afraid that if I delete the Google app, I will lose all my bookmarks and history. I have checked every setting that I could and switched Google instant off, but there is no difference. In the Advanced tab go to "General". Uncheck the check box "Warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page"

Why can't I get to the previous page by hitting the back button just once?

If Firefox opens up fine with no problems, it's probably one of your extensions that's causing the issue. You can re-enable your add-ons one by one until you find the one that causes the issue upon being re-enabled.

Down load fron the Internet OmniDiskSweeper (free) and open it. It will show you all of your files and the respective sizes.
In addition, click on your HDD icon in the upper right hand corner of your desk top with COMMAND I (I as in the letter i). What does it say about the space used and available.

Why does firefox many times opens last browsed page when started (I have set 'show a blank page' and 'about blank' in General settings)

I have made the following settings in general tab of firefox in settings
When firefox starts - Show a blank page
Home page - About blank
Inspite of the above settings, when I start firefox, it many times opens the page I was browsing before I had closed firefox previous time. Please help me with this.

Why does MainStage silence all instrument sounds when I hit the play button?

I want to be able to be playing a pad or keyboard sound through an instrument channel strip that doesn't get cut off when I hit the play button to playback loops and sounds I have for songs.

The "Play" button resets the audio engine. Better to leave that running and use some other control mapped directly to the Playback Plugins

When I am using the browser for a while and try to use ANY search bar and hit the "search" button it does a whopping NOTHING is there anyway of keeping this from happening?

Whenever I am using Firefox mobile - either regular, beta or aurora and go to search for something like through the Google search page and attempt to search for something the search bar does nothing and hitting the enter button instead doesn't do anything either. answer and I said that before I don’t use any antivirus and I always turn off my firewall from the moment I installed my Windows.
I even turn off any automatic update for any of my software and I never let any unknown plugins or any thing like that be install without informing me. And if you know some things like Offline Storage and cookies must be to much more than usual and you have to clear them and delete them and I know so much more
And if you want to know it fixed now. But I don’t know how?
For understanding my problem read and research about Ixplorer.exe virus it is the same problem about the speed but the different is it doesn’t show any process in task manager like Ixplorer.exe virus

When I have finished working on an image in Photoshop and I hit the save button it goes instead to the "save as" screen. This never happened in previous Photoshop versions. When I get to Lightroom, I have a grey screen the says "File could not be found."

When I select the correct image, I get a message that it is not the same file name but I am eventually able to access the image. Needless to say this is having a negative impact on workflow!

The problem with write permissions for the OneDrive folder only shows up in Lightroom 6's export dialogue, that's why it's to irritating. Lightroom 5.7.1 is not having that problem nor does the file explorer. The problem also exists on both of my machines.
