Why is it when Im responding to a text and a new text comes in I lose what I was writing in IOS 8.

Syncing shouldn't trouch you photos unless you have photos in a Photo Library album. These would be photos that were synced to your phone from your computer. If you do have any, you'll need to use an app like PhotoSync to transfer them to your computer prior to syncing.
If you prefer to backup your camera roll photos prior to syncing, open iTunes and go to Preferences>Devices and check "Prevent...from syncing automatically". Then connect your phone to your computer and import them as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083.
Then, to minimize data loss, follow the steps in this user tip: https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3141. To follow the steps, first open iTunes and go to View>Show Sidebar. Also, Transfer Purchases is now located in File>Devices.

Double click the home button and swipe up the messages app to stop it, then open the app again. This pretty much completely stops the process and freshly opens it again, resolving problems at times. I have had this happen before as well on my iPad, I get a banner, check messages, and nothing new is there.
If that doesn't work, close the app like suggested above, but then restart the phone by holding down the home and lock button for 10-15 seconds until the apple logo appears.

try pressing the shift and 2 key to get the @ symbol.
if that doesn't work for you - go to system preferences - keyboard and change it there.

Installation of the new OSX is very heavy hdd load, in addition spotlight reindexes all the files on your computer - it may be a few hours. If in the future will be the same macbook hot, you should contact your nearest Apple Authorized Service Provider.
May be required to clean notebook cooling system.
You can also install any monitoring utility sensors to your mac such as Hardware Monitor and look at the value of the temperature sensors.

Why is it when I download music to my iTunes an explanation mark comes up on some of my music. And another question when I move some music to my iPod I can not play it because this little circle comes up

When I can download music to my iPod some of the music downloads but I can not play it because it has this little round circle in front of it ansd the music is greyed out and not black lettering like the other songs I can play.

Hey Larry, I had the same problem when I down loaded Fire Fox 4.0! Go to the upper left corner of the screen. Is there a small red box with an arrow that says Fire Fox? Left click there and a new menu drops down. Go to Options DO NOT CLICK!, scroll over to Menu Bar and left click on it and the red box goes away and leaves all the options your looking for! To remove it back to the other way, left click on Views, scroll down to Toolbars, DO NOT CLICK!, scroll over to Menu Bar and click on that and it will revert to the original set, with red Fire Fox bar in corner again! You copy all your stuff from the only computer to the new computer. This includes the iPod backup file. You then restore the iPod from backup on the new computer.

Error 1015: This error is typically caused by attempts to downgrade the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch's software. This can occur when you attempt to restore using an older .ipsw file. Downgrading to a previous version is not supported. To resolve this issue, attempt to restore with the latest iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch software available from Apple. This error can also occur when an unauthorized modification of the iOS has occurred and you are now trying to restore to an authorized, default state.
The iPhone 3 does not support newer iOS, and there is no iPhone 3G as you list in your profile. If you are referring to the iPhone 3GS, it will support iOS 6, but if you tried to put something else in there, this explains your problem.

Using Verizon Email, Form Fill is not working when I respond to a sender, their address does not come up nor does the address search work. VZ says it has to do with Form Fill being turned off ???

Running Windows 2000 and Firefox 3.6 Email does not do search in address field when replying to a sender. Have to manually type each address...

To answer the post title FireFox save all downloads automatically in the download folder, which you can find in the Documents folder. If you want to choose where to save your downloads go to tools>options>check always ask me where to save files.
Secondly, I am assuming you have IE 8 installed as this is the only version that supports this fix that is currently not in beta. Go to control panel>internet options>advanced tab and reset the settings at the bottom. This may or may not fix the problem but it is a good first step.

HT4623 My Apple 4s phone is frozen up and I can't do anything on it. I was updating my IOS to IOS7 as prompted to on the screen when I reached the part where it asked for an backup E-mail address. I supplied this and it froze up and won't even turn off

I received a prompt on the screen of my Iphone 4S to update my IOS to IOS7. I clicked on "Start" and went thru and supplied all the requested info. It asked me for an alternate back-up E-mail address, I entered this on the screen and when I clicked on "Next" it would go no further on this setup. Now I can't do anything because it's like it totally froze up. I can't even turn my phone off nor go forward or anything. What can I do to turn my phone off and totally stop this update???

Created a form in Forms Central. Exported the PDF with Submit Button Option. When the PDF is filled out and submit clicked, it comes back asking for required fields to be filled but they already are. Any Help?

OK - I can clarify some things and tell you how to do what your looking for.
The desktop FormsCentral application tools are really designed towards create forms that do collect data on FormsCentral servers. You can still easily create PDFs that do not submit data to FormsCentral, but you'll have to add any alternative submit functionality using the Forms tools in Acrobat. You can create a PDF without the submit button in either case, signed in/out of the Desktop Application from the "File" - "Save as PDF Form" menu item. You can then modify the PDF in Acrobat XI Pro by doing a "Save A Copy", when you open the copy you can edit it any way you like, adding a "Submit" button that email's the PDF/Responses back to you...
Here's how: In Acrobat open the PDF you saved from the FormsCentral Desktop application and go to "File" - "Save a Copy" and choose a location, this will remove the security. Open up the copy you just created and you can now edit it, here is a YouTube video tutorial using Acrobat XI, he covers the email button in about two minutes, there are lots of tutorials out there but this one is easy to follow:,

I click on an image and when the full size picture comes up it is a different picture from a different time. Anyone know of this issue or how to fix it.

Search the forum - it seems like some action will resolve this - like an edit in iPhoto or something - I just vaguly remember someone saying they have a wrok arround - I also think that it mayh have to do with Nikon cameras although I'm fuzzy on that too
