Why is iTunes music not available in the Philippines anymore?

I remember back in 2007, iTunes music was available in the Philippines. I mean, I can access it but haven't tried downloading anything. Can anyone shed light on this?

No, we don't know why, but it does not really matter. You may buy MP3s from any online music retailer that sells in your area, and add the MP3s to your iTunes library.

Thank you for your responses.. To Sjazbec, At least you guys in Germany and the Netherlands have some kind of posters from Apple to let you know that the feature is not available.
There is no such warning on the Irish Apple site.!
My point was that, I would not have even considered trying to reorganize my itunes library had I known that the feature is not available in Ireland.
And that falls into the domain of Apple Ireland advertising.. which I"m sorry to say is false and misleading.
There are no "posters" telling the Irish customer that icloud / itunes music is not available!
I"m not blaming Apple for not "having the feature" in Ireland.. I am upset at them for falsing advertising a feature that they cannot for whatever reason deliver to Irish customers..

I was trying to get iTunes Radio on my iPad Mini, I couldn't see the tab so I checked where it was available in the USA and Australia, why is this?

Presumably Apple have to get agreement from the record labels/rights-holders for songs for each country - US (I assume) was effectively a 'trial' to see how it was received/worked/take-up, and now that Australia has been added I assume that other countries will also be added. Though if/when it might be added here to the UK we won't know until Apple announce something.

Scream 4 has been out for a while now and is availble on the US iTunes store but is not available on the UK store. Any help?

That would be up to whoever holds the distribution rights for that movie for the UK. You'd have to contact them and ask.

Hey ascott57. This is also disinformation. I have personally spoken to the head approver of games in the FPB in South Africa. The rating charge is only applicable for DISC-based games that are sold in stores, so that parents can identify the games for an age group and also for stores to know when not to sell a game. When a game is sold on a mobile system, it is automatically exempt from this rating system, as the selling platform has automatic parental guidance systems built-in.
There is NO reason why developers are not allowed to publish games to South Africa on the iTunes App Store or Mac App Store. This is Apple not having a section, so developers cannot even target that category, because it simply doesn't even exist.
I registered as a games developer for iOS and when I found out that if I develop games for iOS, I can't even publish it to my own country, I let my developer registration lapse on purpose in protest.

Why are some songs not available in the U.S. iTunes Store?

There is a song called "The Moment I Knew" by Taylor Swift. I want to get it off of the U.S. iTunes Store, but it's only available as a ringtone, not a song. And the weirdest thing is that the song is available in other countries along with the Deluxe Edition of Red, but in the U.S., Taylor Swift usually releases the bonus tracks as singles. I need to know!!!

It is not currently available in the US Store. So, you won't be able to get it via iTunes. You can purchase the Red Deluxe CDs at Target, which has the song on them.

Michael is correct. While iTunes Match has been rolled out in many countries, India certainly is not the only country where it is not yet available.

My son and I both upgraded to latest Ios nd now our itunes purchased music is all in the cloud and we can't listen to it offline.

If your device is not online (i.e. no wifi or cellular data connection), and your music is not downloaded onto the device, then it's perfectly normal to not be able to listen to your music in that situation.
Connect to the internet via wi-fi or cellualr data, or download your music to your devices.

I am a die hard apple fan. Not to brag but in my house there are 2 iPhone 5's - and I'll be getting the new iPhone 5s when it becomes available - 2 ipod touch's, an iPad, 2 3rd gen Apple TV's, an iMac and a MacBook Pro 17". That said, I am getting sick and tired of Ireland being left out or behind the UK. Aplle have two European bases in Ireland and they say that there isn't a big enough population for an Apple Store, fair enough I suppose but I suspect that the real reason is that if they did open one here it would impact on the Mobile Phone companies stores and the authorised dealers. This means that we cant order iPhones from the apple store nor can we purchase gift certificates because they are only redeemable in an Apple Store so, my nearest one is in London! Also, eventhough we are spitting distance from the UK, we never get allocated with new iPhone's on the first day of release. That really bugs me. Now, after all the hype about iTunes Radio, we aren't included for it either! Why not?

Buying music, movies and books from the iTunes store is NOT allowed in India. WHY?

Because Apple has not been able to obtain rights to sell such content in India. There could be a number of reasons why; none of us here can do anything but guess as to which factors are correct (indeed it's probably different factors with different content owners). When, or indeed if, Apple will ever be able to obtain the necessary rights and clear all other hurdles that may be involved, none of us here can say.
