Why is iWork not free when I update to ios7
I purchase my iPhone 5 last Seprember 7. I've read that iWork will be free for all iOS device purchase after September 1st. But why is it not downloaded in my iPhone when I updated to iOS 7? When I check in the apple store it is sti $9.99. Have I misread something?
No, JLupina, you did not read incorrectly.
iWork is free when you purchase a new ios device beginning Sept 20.
Downloading the new OS is not a purchase, and certainly not a purchase of a new device.
Them's the rules.

I bought student mac air through university account, Iworks were included when I purchased mac air. But there are no iworks and It's not free when I tried to download from App Store. OS was OS X Mountain Lion 10.9 When I received it. Is it because of OS? I upgraded to OS X Mavericks right after I got it.
Today, I went to the mac store and asked the staff about above issue. Apple obviously sent me a mac air which was manufactured before October 2013 and therefore, iworks and OX Mavericks weren't installed. I have refund for around £45 to purchase iworks. However, I wasn't happy with what Apple actually did. I asked for replacement and refund the one I got and getting the new one from store so I can use mac straight away. however, the refund takes 5-7 working days. The staff on the phone told me if I have enough money I can just buy the new one in the store and get refund later. So I gave up! I was so disappointed with Apple. Even though I use the mac now, this was not the one Apple promised when I purchased online. if anyone would like to buy a mac, Please go to the actual store. DO NOT buy a mac through MAC ONLINE STORE!!! I strongly recommend! I feel like I wasted my time because the company doesn't keep its promise.

Why is iMovie not free but when i first got my phone it was?
At first when i got my iphone i saw that ALL apple apps were free. Now that i have had my phone for 2 months, i see that ALL apple apps are not free. Does anyone know why the apps are not free when they were free when i first got my phone? (I have an iphone 5s that is 2 months old)

The update is available for those using iWork '09. If you have never previously purchased iWork ’09 and have not bought a new Mac since October 1, you will have to purchase the applications. There are several reasons why the updates don't show as free for those who already have iWork '09 installed.
1. You must have iWork '09 apps installed & they must be updated to the x.3 version. You can also download the standalone updater from this page.
2. If you are not using English as the primary language for your Mac, change to English & run Software Update. You can then switch back to your preferred language.
3. Go to Mac App Store (MAS) > Click on Store > Check for Unfinished Downloads. You will need to individually click into each application > Click update > enter in your Apple ID & password and then it will start updating.
4. Open App Store on your Mac & look at the buttons under Keynote, Pages & Numbers. If it does not say “Update” click Account under Quick Links, enter your password & click “View Account.” Next, click the “Reset” button to the right of “Reset all warnings for buying and downloading” at the bottom of this page, & click Done. Check your updates tab & iWork & iLife updates should now appear.

Do you mean the AC wall adapter or the cable when you say "charger"? Neither is a charger; the charger is built into the phone. You need to do some basic troubleshooting. First, try a different cable with the same AC adapter. Then try a different USB source such as the USB port on your computer. If you get the same message after both tests the problem lies in the phone. The most common cause of this message is dirt, moisture or pocket lint in the lightning connector on the bottom of the phone. Inspect it with a bright light and clean it with a plastic or wood toothpick. If none of these steps resolve the problem take the phone, cable and adapter to an Apple store for diagnosis. Hello, my email is connected to Lotus Notes. When I updated my iPad to iOS 6, it REQUIRED that I have a password for the iPad or else my email wouldn't work or synchronize with Lotus Notes (on my work laptop). This is really frustrating, because I cannot disable the password under General<Passcode. Thanks!
This would almost certainly be a setting that is being enforced by your company. You'll need to talk to them about this.

You need to enter the Apple ID and password that was used to set up/activate the phone. There is no way around this.
