Why is Lightroom doing this!!!

Every once and a while LR will make an absolute mess out of my images. It's like it's scrambling parts of the file. Then, even after deleting the XMP files, it still re-imports into the library with the crazy mess on it. I've even tried killing entire catalogs, deleting XMP files, and then re-importing with no success at fixing the problem. Then the identical damage shows up in Bridge, Camera RAW and JPEG's that have been output from LR. How do I get the adobe programs to stop displaying them like this once LR munches on them. Capture ONE, and DPP have no problem with the damaged files and output perfect JPEG's and Tiff files. I don't get it and it's making me crazy. Check out the links below to see what I'm talking about. OH! I have emailed one of these files to Adobe and they see the same thing I am seeing when opening the file on there own system (sent .CR2 file without XMP. / They have no solution). The only fix I have found was to replace the RAW file with a backed up RAW file that has not been touched by LR (luckily I back up most of my RAW files before they ever get imported into the program). But it's happening to often to keep doing this.

OK! Heres the newest twist. I just had another file get gobbled up by LR. But this time the damaged image appeared damaged in DPP and captureONE. However, in C1 the image appeared damaged but if I clicked on the focus tab, the details box showed a perfect image. Then, when I output a TIFF to photoshop the image had no problems. But the preview in C1 was still crazy. Then in DPP the thumbnail appeared damaged and when double clicking the image to enlarge it that also appeared damaged. But once I brought it into the develop module it all went away. Transfering the photo to PS showed no signs of damage.
The fix I found earlier in LR did not work this time. But it did once I got DPP to display a clean image. So the problem appears to be related to the previews that are being generated. Since DPP and C1 do not support XMP then that can't be the problem. But why are all these programs sharing the preview information. I'm starting to wonder if maybe it is a memory issue. This is a trouble shooting nightmare!
