Go to Settings>Privacy>Location Services. You can see what, if anything, is currently using location services, and what has used it within the last 24 hours.
An open location services arrow means there is a geo-fenced reminder set.

How to stop multiple auto-switching to address bar every time I open a new tab and try to type something anywhere outside of address bar? Like something just wants me to use that embedded search when u type something not-web-address in address bar and hit enter. And the most ridiculous thing is that it happens repeatedly on like every second, like I just move down from address bar and start typing again, but then again it switches me to address bar, and 3, 4 times like that. And the result is also that I can't see the address of that page.
I think its has something to do with my AVG antivirus, because this started the same time some AVG Nation started to appear in every new tab i open (and thats also irritating me, I read about it here on support.mozilla.org and it seems that the only solution is to completely reinstall Firefox, but I dont want to lose all my settings) but when i type something in address bar and hit enter it opens the search results in Google.
Please try to help me, I like Firefox but I must switch to Chrome until I fix this problem.

You could try performing a clean installation: [[Knowledge Base Article]] :

How do you try to start the repair dialogue? By starting Aperture or by opening the Library?
If you not already have tried it with directly opening the library:
reveal your Aperture Library in the Finder
Whilst holding down Command(⌘)- option (⌥) double click on the Aperture Library.
Select "repair library" from the dialogue.
What about Frank Caggiano's questions above?
It would be really helpful to know, how many libraries you have, and if this problem is restricted to one of them.

Why does Flash Player try to load every time I open a link

Every time I open a new link Flashplayer fails to load, I don't know why it's loading anyway. Maybe for the ads About.com puts on top that I don't want and can't get rid of. I get an error screen and have to close Flashplayer. So who cares except it's a pain in the neck. Why? I am legally blind and this is hard to read

Why does the spinning wheel come up every time I open an application

Every time I open an application, I get the "spinning wheel" for an extended period of time. This is a VERY FAST computer and this slows me down terribly.
For instance: I just opened iTunes to sync my iPhone. When I opened the software I got the wheel, when I tried to select my iPhone, and yet again when I tried to hit the "sync" button. This is more than is typical, but it happens EVERY TIME I open EVERY application.

You need to check the software you run.
Some officially supported and sold Mac versions of software use Wine for porting in some fashion or another. If some program you are running is spawning these Wine processes, its probably buggy and not shutting down correctly.
How to figure out which are Wine and which are not...?
Well if its a Cider ported game, you just see if there is a Cider logo on the game.
If its Wineskin ported, theres no super easy way to tell, depending on how much its been modified, but you can look inside the app (right click and "Show Package Contents") and go to Contents/MacOS and see if Wineskin executable is in there. Unless its a very old version of Wineskin it shouldn't be able to hang like that without major issues int he Windows software running in it, and I don't know any any company would release it if it was that buggy.
If its WineBottler Ported, you'll notice quickly because it launches X11 and runs the windows under X11... of course not all X11 apps are Wine, but if you have a program that launches and runs in X11.app then you can look inside it at Contents/MacOS to see if its Wine related.
It could also be Crossover, or a Crossover port of software... you'd have to dig around inside of its app too to see if it looked like one of those.

Same message every time I open iPhoto - "use iPhoto when you connect..."

Every time I open iPhoto 6 (using a MacBook Pro) I am asked: "Do you want to use iPhoto when you connect your digital camera?" I respond "yes," only to be presented with the same question the next time I open the program. Any thoughts on why that might be and how I can stop it from asking (and remember that I want to use it with my camera)?

Thanks for the suggestion. I gave that a try, but no luck. Turns out, though, my main volume was corrupted--most likely related to running the public beta of Parallels Workstation (great software, but there's a reason they tell you not to run betas on production computers ). I repaired my drive using Disk Utility and that seems to have done the trick.

Why does iTunes make me log in every time I open it since upgrading to v.12.0.1.26 and Yosemite?

Since upgrading to itunes v. 12.0.1.26 and Yosemite (same day), iTunes has been making me log in every single time I open it.
Not only that, but it makes me log in several times, for iCloud, for iTunes match, for whatever else we do on iTunes. It gives me like five different reasons to log in, and I have to type my password in five times.
Can anyone tell me what is going on here and how to fix it? Thanks!

Back up all data before proceeding.
Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Keychain Access in the icon grid.
Select the login keychain from the list on the left side of the Keychain Access window. If your default keychain has a different name, select that.

Why does my Indesign program appear pixelated every time I open it?

I have recently downloaded the Creative Suit 6 but every time I have tried to open Indesign it appears pixelated making it hard to use. Does anyone have an explination and/or solution to this problem?

Are you referring to the resolution of placed images? InDesign has different levels of preview quality that you can select to match the speed of your machine. The default level is "Typical," which is a low resolution image preview that draws quickly but looks horrid. Any reasonably modern machine should be able to handle the High Quality Display setting without choking on most files, and you can change it from the the View menu by choosing View > Display Performance > High Quality Display, but it's probably even better to open the application prefernces and change the default setting. You can choose to leave object level dispaly performance enabled which will allow you to set the preview individually for very large images that cause a delay while working.

Why is my iTunes 10.4 crashing every time I open it?

Hello, so I just downloaded 10.4 iTunes. I have SL10.6.8 Last night I turned on the full screen feature even though I don't have Lion OS. This morning my iTunes worked fine. And I had a similiar problem with my GarageBand. (Crashing unexpectedly) Apple Tech Support helped me reinstall GarageBand. Now my iTunes is crashing everytime I'm opening it. What the freak? Come on Apple get it together. I shelled out some good money for my MacBookPro 2011, and running 8gb. I feel so jipped right now. Might as well have gotten a Windows running machine for half the price. I uninstalled iTunes and reinstalled still doesn't work. Can't really restart right now because I'm currently downloading SC2 Hoping restarting my Mac does the trick. But I Apple really needs to get it together. Sick of this iTunes Quit Unexpectadly crap!

I've been having the same problem. The thing is irritating. I searched community toolbar in google and found something that has been working for me. So far so good anyway.
Open the Library folder
Open the InputManagers folder
Put the CTLoader in the trash.
Empty trash. You may have to resart in order to empty trash
I also was asked to give my admin password.
Aaagh. No more Community Toolbar warnings

My MacBook Pro 15 inch that I bought back in 2012 at the apple store keeps restarting Every time I open it. And when it's in the restarting mode it just turns off and restarts again it doesn't even get to the login part where you choose accounts.

I can actually hold a key and it will take me to the logins and when I login I have to hold the key the whole time I'm on it or else it restarts. What do I do to fix this problem? Please help

Based on your description of being able to Safe Boot (holding down the shift key) but not boot normally, it sounds like your startup/restart issue may be related to one of the things that Safe Boot disables. You can find more information about them here:

The History tab at the top of the screen. When I click it it shows history but it shows the same thing every time and wont change. Even when i click "all history" and delete it it is still there. How do i delete it?

Could you be specific where the files to fix this are?

A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.
