Why is mobileme icon grayed out when I try to add a MobileMe gallery?

I found some old answers on the web, but they aren't pertinent. My MobileMe prefpane is correctly configured, but when I click on the "+" sign in iPhoto, the MobileMe icon is grayed out. Why? iPhoto '09 8.1.2.

OK. Time to bring out the big guns and go in for the kill. Wyodor posted the following code for adding a MMe gallery via an HTML snippet. Works just like the MMe widget as it's essentially the same code:

No once you get the selection window and select photos ==> iPhoto then it is an iPhoto issue
ust to confirm if you launch iPhoto everything is O? As a work around select the photo(s) and export (file menu ==> export) to a desktop folder and attach to your e-mail from there and then delete the folder

Why is my website timing out when I try to upload via Muse FTP?

I have converted a two-year old Muse site to 2014 and am trying to upload it to in browser editing. The site has over 30 links to articles, which are .pdf documents, which are in the asset folder. It is timing out at around 81 percent in the asset folder. I have no problem uploading this through Filezilla. I decided to try to get around this by uploading the assets to a directory in my own website and then linking to them on the website. This time the site uploaded, but the links did not work. since this is an active site and it does not need to be down, I changed the links back to the asset and reuploaded on Filezilla, but now the site I uploaded through Muse is, for some reason, unable to be written over. I compressed the .pdf files in Acrobat and tried again to upload through Muse and it times out. Now the website is down, at least the links to the articles dont work. Obviously the Muse upload has made it not possible for me to write over the upload in Filezilla, but it wont let me upload the entire site. My upload speed is excellent.

Why does iMessage sign me out when I try to sign in?

Why does the preferences-app crash when I try to add a CalDAV-account?

Hey all,
I recently set up a calendarserver on my debian-machine. After that, I set up my account in iCal on my MacBook. Everything works, so my server does.
Now, if I try to add a CalDAV-account on my iPhone (preferences-app -> Mail, Contacts, Calendar -> Add account -> Other -> Add CalDAV-Account) the preferences-app crashes and nothing was added.
Any suggestions how to solve this issue?
My iPhone 3GS runs with iOS version 4.3.3 (8J2).

So you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud? That message sounds like you did not. Are you using the same Apple ID used in Settings>iCloud on the iPod?
- To find wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.
- You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have the iPod play a sound via iCloud.
- If not shown, then you will have to use the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet or purse.
- Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police
- There is no way to prevent someone from restoring the iPod (it erases it) using it.
- Apple will do nothing without a court order

I had this problem too - of grayed out music I could only play when in WIFI. I noticed when looking in iTunes, these grayed song were not chosen by me to sync on to my iPhone. They were stored in iCloud. I went to Settings > Music and then turned off "Show All Music" so only music that has been dowloaded to my iPhone will be shown.
I don't have iTunes Match, so you may have a different issue than what I had.

File icons grayed out

I installed Leopard and when I go to folders with MS Word and Adobe Reader icons they show up for a second or so in their normal icons and then the icons gray out. I called Tech Support and did Disk Utility Repair and an Archive and Install, didn't help.
Any suggestions?

Mask button grayed out when Pen tool's selected?

Hello...
I am going through a tutorial about how to use the Pen tool.
The tut shows that I should be able to click the Mask button in order to create a trans BG. However, mine is grayed out. I cannot find a reason why that would be. I am able to use the Layer Mask under other circumstances.
(The tut has me take an image, draw around the image to practice pulling/dragging, twisting, adding handles etc & so forth).
I have the pen tool set to Path but the Mask doesn't become available under any of the options.
The tut says to click Ctrl + Click on the path and then to click the Mask button.
Any ideas why the Mask is grayed out?

I'm now completely embarrassed. Of course a trans bg can't be made when it's the bg I'm working on.
The tutors' Layer panel shows only Layer 1 and no bg. He said to download the image he uses from Diviantart but the image would only open in a browser. So, I right clicked and saved the image. Then I opened the image which, of course, just opens on the bg layer.
So, am I suppose to create a New file > New Layer and then open the image?
Sorry if my questions seem obvious to you but I am just learning and still very much a newbie.

Douments which were fine in Acrobat 9 suddenly have areas blacked or grayed out. The same thing happens if opened in Acrobet Reader. Is there a setting that causes this.

It could be that the text is an image.
Try going to Edit>Preferences>Page display>Page content and information and check the box hat says "Display large images".
