Why did Lion 10.7.3 mess up my magic mouse on my macbook pro 2011?

My mouse was working fine and as soon as I updated to 10.7.3 my magic mouse went wacky! Swipes don't work now. I will be move my mouse to the other side of the screen and it jumps all over the place. And randomly clicks on items when I havnt pushed the mouse buttons. I'm glad I still have the track pad on the macbook pro. But for video editing it just isn't easy to use like the mouse. I reeeeaaallly hope they fix this soon. Or if anyone out there knows how to fix it pleeeease share with me.

I am having the same challenge, what I have found to be a temporary fix is to disconnet the magic mouse and the reconnect using the BlueTooth Preference in system preferences.
I am also am having connectivity issues with my Plantronic Voyager Pro and my Ecamm BT-1 all are inconsistant now and intermittent.
So far no one seems to have an answer. Maybe if someone from Apple is monitoring this forum, they can add some imput for us?

My Macbook pro 2011 suddenly has a really slow bootup. What can I do? I did install a cannon printer upgrade and security upgrade. Not sure if it was something to do with that. Also I tried the disk utility repair and didn't improve anything. I also reset PRAM and SMC.

1. Try booting in e Verbose mode - press and hold [cmd] + [v] keys just right after the boot chord sounds till you get a black screen and white letters.
if there are some delays in the boot process - you should see where the system is stuck.
this mode is not permanent - the next [re-] boot will be normal.
2. repair permissions. disk utility does fine. Disk Warrior is better.
sometimes after half done updates (it may happen though should not) there are items that are "belonging to someone else"
3. try cache cleaner (or there are some other utilities as well - I just like SlCC more) http://www.northernsoftworks.com/snowleopardcachecleaner.html - it's shareware though the basic functionality is free for you to use.
Try caches -> deep cleaning (please read the developers site what it does) and select checkmark at all options - reply yes to the requests and after a reboot the next reboot should be as it is intended.
p.s be sure you do have backup

Help: Slow Crucial C300 256GB SSD in 17" MacBook Pro (2011) via SATA III 6Gb/s

Computer: 2011 17" MacBook Pro
Drive: Crucial C300 256GB
Drive Firmware: Revision 7
Bay: Main Drive Bay (6Gb/s)
OS: Lion 10.7.1
I did a fresh install of 10.7.1 and I'm getting these speeds on the above configuration:
Here is the same test run on my previous computer, a 2008 Mac Pro, with SATA II (same exact drive):
What is going on here? The Mac Pro with SATA II was running the C300 faster than the brand new 17" MacBook Pro 2011 running SATA III. This drive should be getting up up to 355MB/s read on SATA III.
Can someone please help me figure out why this drive is not running faster in my computer?

FYI - I did install the new EFI 2.2 Update that was released in September. The above tests were after I installed the update! So you can rule out that I didn't install this update that supposedly fixed SATA speed issues on these Mac's.

I solved it. Xbench didn't give the best results. I tried other benchmarking tools and concluded that I am getting the SATA III speeds on this drive on this MacBook Pro.

The easiest way to produce double-sided publications is to print them on a printer that supports duplex printing. You can usually learn whether your printer supports duplex printing either by looking at the information that was included with the printer or by looking at the printer's properties. Some printers offer the option of automatically printing on both sides of a sheet of paper (automatic duplex printing). Why is iPad so INCREDIBLY slow in loading web pages or e-mails? I have brand new iPad 2.

Just got a new iPad2 last week, installed OK, updated to iOS 5.0, able to access my home's wireless network. However, it is incredibly slow in loading web pages, so that most web sites time out before they will load, like http://finance/yahoo, which I have to use my desktop (Windows XP) or laptop (Windows 7) computers to access, since the iPad will time out almost every time before it can open the site. Same for most other sites, unless real simple like my own web site, which will open OK.
Apple tech support was no help at all. Any suggestions, other than buying a new router?

Have you tried (1) restarting your router, and (2) resetting the wifi on the iPad? To do #2, go to Settings, General, Reset, Reset Network Settings.

My computer is INCREDIBLY slow after Yosemite install

I recently installed the latest operating system Yosemite for my Apple Mac Pro and ever since it has been installed, my computer has been INCREDIBLY slow! Everything from starting up to applications opening to the **** internet! I'm ready to punch my fist into my **** monitor, even though I know it's not my monitor's fault. lol. Macworld has published an article (http://www.macworld.com/article/2837811/bugs-and-fixes-solving-a-yosemite-post-i nstall-disaster.html) about this along with the problem they think is causing it but I checked and the file in question doesn't exist on my computer. I don't want to go through the last step that is mentioned which involves downloading Yosemite onto an external hard drive and then installing from there. That step would also involve manually searching for files that might be causing the issue.
So, has anyone else experienced their computers running REAL slow after the update and did you figure out a simple solution?

Samsung 840 Evo incredibly slow in MacBook Pro 2011

I just got a brand new 250GB Samsung 840 Evo SSD and put it in my MacBook Pro. The drive is incredibly slow. OS X install took hours, and it takes over a minute to boot up. Even small tasks like clicking a button take several seconds to process. I have enabled TRIM through terminal (which took about an hour) and still no better. Is this something that can be fix or should I get an RMA# from NewEgg?

older firmware revisions of the 840 EVO are known to be problematic on Macs. You can download the latest firmware package for it (and an instructional PDF) from this Samsung page; with this package, you can burn a bootable DVD from which the latest firmware revision can be installed.
Another possibility is that you might have a faulty internal SATA cable. If you connect your SSD externally and boot from it then, and it runs at normal SSD speeds, but it remains incredibly slow when booting from it internally, that could point to a problem with your internal SATA cable. (Hard disks are more tolerant of a faulty internal SATA cable than SSDs are.)
If neither step above resolves the issue, then you should arrange an exchange with Newegg.

Aperture does lots of background processing after you first install it. It is likely that Aperture is performing some of this processing as soon as you open it now. You can get a good feeling for what it is doing if you show the Activity with {Command}-{Shift}-0.
You may have to let Aperture crunch away for hours or even overnight before it is done.
