Why is my banner shifting by 1px to the left and right

Hi there,
I put up a banner that will be the main graphic with menu for
my website at www.happysexyyou.com.
The image was made in illustrator, sliced and saved as html
and then put into the dreamweaver template. I like the way it looks
but I notice that the image does a 1 pixel shift to the left, then
to the right, then back to the left whenever I reload it.
I can't figure out why this is, and it's the first time I've
seen this problem. Can anyone see why and help me remove the
shifting?

Mozilla based browsers have a problem with odd widths like
that. I'm
betting that if you change the widths to 802 px (still too
wide in my
opinion) you'll see it stop.

that stinks. a logitech driver should only control the logitech mouse. it shouldn't affect how other mice work with the OS

Why does iphoto want to chop off the left and right sides of the photo I'm trying to print?

Trying to print a group photo. Using the borderless setting, I still always lose half of the persons at the end of the rows. Why won't iphoto allow me to print the entire picture?

It actuallyhelps if you provide details including version of iPhoto and of the OS and what you are doing
with absolutely nothing but a problem my guess is that the print size is a different ratio than the photos size so somehting has to be left off - for example you can not print an 8x10 photo on a 4x5 piect of paper - depending on the camera you have your photos are either in a 3:2 ratio or a 4:3 ratio - the paper must be the same - or you must crop the photos to the paper size - or you must go to the customize screen and right click on the preview and fit to frame

The cursor keys by themselves navigate between appointments, allowing you to select them without using the mouse. Try holding the Apple key plus the right and left arrow keys, that will navigate between pages in the calendar.

Wireless Keyboard's left and right shift keys don't like some keys...

Hello everyone!
I recently bought a second hand 2009 Apple Wireless Keyboard to use with my iPad 32GB Wi-Fi.
When pressed by themselves, the keys all individually work - I've tested them all using my MacBook's Keyboard and Character Viewer. The problem is when I use either shift keys with the following keys:
123456789
qwertyuio
Now, the odd thing is, the left shift key won't wok with either of those lines but the right shift key will work with the letters but not the numbers.
Using sticky keys on my MacBook, I can get every single one of the numbers to give out their character (!@£ etc.) with the left and right shift keys. I've not got Mouse Keys turned on either (and I don't think there's an option to enable it on the iPad)
Also, the Shift keys work perfectly fine with all of the other keys on the keyboard so they aren't worn out.
Any ideas what could be making my keyboard this way..? Or should I send it back (if I can...)?

ok so i've made a bit of progress on my own...
i've found the on-screen keyboard viewer (silly me, i was looking under "keyboard" in system preferences...) and this flashes with each key i press except the problematic left and right cursor keys.
moreover, if i click the left and right cursor keys on the on-screen keyboard, they behave as they should, moving my cursor left and right.
this is starting to look like a hardware fault but i'd love to be able to test outside of the OSX GUI to be really sure. is there any way i can do that. not sure i want to get the screwdriver out just yet...

Why is does audio only come out of the left speaker when I press the latency button....?!?!

I have a small problem which I hope someone can advise me on ......
Everytine I press the Latecny button on Logic 9 the audio will stop coming out of the LEFT and RIGHT speakers and only come out of the LEFT speaker ?
Audio sent out of DAW --------> Mixng Deck ------> back into Soundcard via SPDIF (digital) on inputs 9/10
I am sening al my sounds out of the computer to be summed on a mixing decks and then the 2 channles of audio from the deck is coming back into my soundcard as an digital a signle on INPUTS 9/10.
Can anyone please advise ..........!?!

Might want to read on what Low Latency mode does + why and when you should use it.
It's basically only used in realtime monitorinr when recording and/or when recording softsynths.
By reading the docs you should be able to figure out why the right side is being muted.

Be sure software monitoring is Off when recording the summed input.

New LG Monitor Screen Image Keeps Shifting a few pixels left and right / goes into power save mode

I just purchased a new LG Computer Monitor from Best Buy today and hooked it up to my PowerMac computer. Shortly after setting it up, the entire screen image started sporadically shifting left and right a few pixels. And then, at seemingly random times, it'll shut itself down, going into power save mode. I checked the cables to make sure they were secure and they seem to be. Could there be some sort of interference that's causing it? Or would it be the graphics card? My computer is only a couple years old. Please help!

Do you have another computer you can plug the monitor into to test?

Why after i update my left and right arrow keys stop working

It sounds like 2 of your keys are not working after updating to Mavericks. I found this section of an article for you to help troubleshoot this issue named:

Some keys don't work as expected
From the Apple menu, choose System Preferences.
From the View menu, choose Speech.
Click the Text to Speech tab.
If "Speak selected text when the key is pressed" is enabled, the key or key combination set to speak text cannot be used for other purposes or used to type text--click Set Key and change it to a less-commonly used key combination (try to use modifier keys such as Shift, Command, Option, and Control). Or, disable the "Speak selected text when the key is pressed" option.
Click the Universal Access pane in System Preferences, click the Keyboard tab.
Make sure that Slow Keys is turned off. With Slow Keys on, you need to press a key for a longer period of time for it to be recognized.
In the Universal Access pane, click the Mouse tab, and make sure Mouse Keys is turned off. With Mouse Keys enabled, you cannot use the Numeric Keypad to enter numbers--instead the keypad moves the pointer (cursor). (There is an option to enable Mouse Keys with five presses of the Option key; you may want to turn that option off to avoid accidentally enabling it.) If Mouse Keys is enabled and you are using a keyboard with no numeric keypad or Num Lock function, see Unable to type while Mouse Keys is enabled in Mac OS X.
If the function keys on the top row of the keyboard are not working as expected, see Mac OS X: How to change the behavior of function keys.
If the issue persists, use Keyboard Viewer to help isolate the issue:
Click the Language & Text pane (Mac OS X v10.6) or International pane (Mac OS X v10.5.8 or earlier) in System Preferences.
Click the Input Sources tab (or Input Menu tab in Mac OS X 10.5.8 or earlier).
Click the Keyboard & Character Viewer "On" checkbox to select it (click the Keyboard Viewer "On" checkbox in Mac OS X 10.5.8 or earlier).
From the Input (flag) menu, choose Show Keyboard Viewer.
If the keyboard is connected and detected by Mac OS X, the keys you type will highlight in the Keyboard Viewer window. Open TextEdit (or any text application), and try to type something using the keys that were previously not responding to see if they highlight in Keyboard Viewer.
Start from the Mac OS X Install Disc, choose Terminal from the Utilities menu and test the keys which were previously not working. If the keys work while started from the Install disc, then the keyboard itself is working correctly. Use Mac OS X: How to troubleshoot a software issue to isolate the software issue that may be causing the keys to not respond.

Screen shifts to the left and left half of my screen appears on the right.

So there were some issues with my Harddrive, after having it replaced at the genius bar I chose to reinstall everything rather then just restoring from my Time machine.
After reinstalling Mountain Lion my screen occasionally shifts to the left and the left half of my screen appears on the right.
It seem completely random and occurs randomly. I haven't been able to tie it to any specific program.
After a couple of days of this happening once or twice a day I called apple and they suggested I do a fresh reinstall and don't move any of my data over and see if the error re-occurs. It didn't (tried it for 1-2 days..) but it might well be lucky/random that it didn't happen.
In any case.. since I couldn't deal for another day without my stuff I restored from Time Machine and the error did happen again.
So... it's something on my mac. I've done all updates... obviously
I have no idea what to do.. Everytime it happens, my mac just freezes and I can't do anything but for shutdown by pressing the shutdown menu.
How can I debug this? Anyone ever heard of this before?

Why Left and Right Joins if only one of them can serve the same purpose?

I understand that left join is used to display all the records from left table whereas the right join is used to display all the records from right table in a join.
However, if we switch the positions of the join tables and perform left join we can get all the records of the left table.
A left join B -> will give all records from A
A right join B ->will give all records from B
B left join A -> will again give all records from B.
The order in which the data is displayed(ie the field order) can also be maintained in the SELECT clause.
So, Why do we have left and right joins separately in existance, when only one of them can serve the same purpose?

I think it's because it is sometime more natural to outer join on left or right.
In your data model (or the query you are writing), there is some kind of hierarchy between tables : I feel more natural to have the table with lowest hierarchical level (the root table) on the left. So I sometimes prefer to right outer join...
This is a very personal feeling, I must admit.
To me what is strange is to have chosen left and right as they refer to a "latin" reading direction => forward join and backward join would be more meaningful for people that read from right to left.
+And I prefer the new joining syntax that doesn't us the {noformat}(+){noformat} sign...+

Why to I have a blue haze on the photos and on the menu bars of apps. I have Intel iMac running OSX 10.7.5. This problem just started. All my photos are corurpted with a blue haze.

Here is another photo with the wierd blue circle in the sky taken with a DSLR. This did not appear until recently and now I see it on all photos and also when I print the photo.

Summarize Comments shifts my PDF to the left

When I use the summarize comments tool, the pdf automatically shifts to the left. This results in text being chopped off on the left and a white strip on the right. It appears this only happens to PDFs that have been created using a scanner. PDFs that have been generated from software like ACAD or Microsoft Word, seem to be fine. The screen capture below shows the offset for this page, which is part of a multipage document. This page is a PDF that had been scanned due to a signature being present. Before the summarize comments button was pressed, all text was centered perfectly on the page. This page did not have any comments associated with it, but the other pages in the document did. The other pages did not suffer from the offset because those pages were created from the native files.

This solved my issue, regards Jeroen

It sounds like the "Zoom" feature is being activated. Check in "System Preferences">"Universal Access" to make sure it's off. You can also turn it on or off with the key combination "Option, Command, Number 8"
