I have only had my phone since friday and the battery is dying really fast all the time? What should I do?

How fast? For an interactive game that uses data (cellular or WiFi) you should expect about 5 hours of battery life. Are you getting less than that?

Numerical battery is just something reserved for iphone. I guess it is more important to know if your phone is going to die in case of emergency than if your ipod touch is going to die. The ipod touch has never had numerical battery

aftger installing mountain lion, i can watch the batt drop in power, real fast, like 20% in 15 mins.. never acted like this untill the upgrade.

Why do I pay for AppleCare and phone malfunctions in approx 60 days and I get charged replacement fee. Isn't this just a bait and switch scam to cheat customers?

Plan renewal - New battery rather than new phone

I have suggested that Verizon consider an option to provide a new battery for an existing phone as an alternative to a new phone when renewing the contract. I am satisfied with my current phone and don't wish to change the phone. Changing the phone will require me to buy all new accessories since the format of the connection has changed again. Simply providing the option for a new battery would save Verizon money and would provide an alternative to existing customers. Can we get this message to Verizon management?

New batteries for most phones are cheaply available, especially older models, so why sign a contract to get one? The benefit of signing the contract is the reduced price on a new phone. Trading a $200 to $400 phone discount for a $10-$50 battery seems like a poor decision.
From Verizon's end, keeping a stock of batteries for phones that they may not have actively sold for a year or more would probably cost more than just giving you a new phone. They have limited warehouse and retail space, and it's all currently dedicated to moving the phones they are selling right now, not stocking accessories for older models.
My suggestion to you would be to go one of three ways:
1) Get a new phone, and don't worry about accessories right now. Activate it for a few minutes to accept your new contract and then put it away. It can be a back-up for you in case your current model breaks or you just want a change. One of the "free" models would work well for this.
2) Get a new phone and go to a store and negeotiate with the salesperson to include a deal on accessories in the package. If you buy a more expensive phone, you're more likely to have this work out in your favor.
3) Do a little research and decide which phone you could resell for the greatest profit. Do your upgrade, keep your current device and then sell the new one on eBay for a tidy return. Use that money to buy LOTS of batteries, and then set some of it aside to replace your current phone in case it breaks.

Where can I buy battery for e63???

Where (in USA) can I buy a GENUINE BP-4L battery for my E63 phone? Everywhere I look I can only find third party batteries and batteries that are so inexpensive that I doubt they are the genuine article. Nokia phone so-called "support" referred me to Amazon which is nothing but suspicious batteries. I mean batteries priced from $1.87 are going to be real.
Does Nokia even have a parts department?

Thank you for sharing your concerns about the authenticity of Nokia products on the internet.
Nokia batteries can be found very cheap on certain sites, and of brand new condition. Amazon is generally known to be a safe company to buy from on the net.
I would advise you to purchase the battery, and if you have a doubt on its authenticity or have any issue with it, to contact Amazon customer services as soon as possible, at best within a week. They have the duty to arrange for a refund if there is a fault with the battery.

I think is BLC-2 Battery that is certainly available online...(you may Google for it..), but first try at your local phone shop (preferably Nokia authorised..) to save on delivery charges..

So basically my iPhone 5 has been heating up so bad that it feels like its about to over heat and die. I've never had this happen to any other of my iPhones. Ive tried closing all my apps like i usually do anyways, i tuned down the light, I've reset it and booted it back up, reset it and used iCloud backup, ext... Nothing is working. I'm to the point where i almost want to get a new phone. I even tried calling apple support and they couldn't help me cause from what it sounded like they had no idea what they were doing. If anyone has any comments on how to fix this i would greatly appreciate it . I do love apple products and i have a upgrade and plan on upgrading my phone when the new one comes out but for the time being IDE like to fix the phone i have now that I've only had for a little bit anyways. You are probably going to have to take a trip to the Apple Store, but you can also make sure that:
Bluetooth is turned off when not in use
Location Services are only turned on for those locations that you want a constant update to
Background App Refresh is turned off
Automatic Downloads is turned off
Cellular Roaming is turned off when you don't need it
Go through your Settings and take a look at all of the settings to determine if you have any turned on that may be using a lot of battery, and which you really don't need.

If you're on Share Everything the phone also has access to data. That's why it's called SHARE EVERYTHING. That aside it's incentive to get a smartphone isn't it? Only $10 more for a better phone. At&t charges the same.
