Why is my Bridge UI pixelated?

I have MacBook Pro with retina screen, and the Bridge UI is pixelated. When I checked the app with Get Info, I noticed that there is a box checked called 'Open in Low Resolution', but I can not uncheck it - it is greyed out. I assume this has something to do with the issue? All other Adobe software (Photoshop, Lightroom) looks fine.
All my Adobe applications are up to date according to Adobe Application Manager. I'm using MacOs 10.9.4.
I asked this question in the Bridge forum, but did not get any replies.
Any ideas?

Well, my upper screen tool bar keeps going a blueish white pixelation. I can stop the the problem for a bit by changing the back screen display or by shutting the whole system down and then back on. But, eventually the pixelation comes back. Any help?

Previews in Bridge get pixelated and discolored after adjustments?

Hello, I'm using Bridge 5.0.1.23 x64 via Photoshop CS6. I'm processing some low-light nighttime photos that require me to boost the "shadows" slider most of the way to the right to get the look I need. After doing this, I've noticed that the previews in Bridge look pixelated and purple in all of the shadow areas.
Is there a way to solve this?

I don't see that option. Here's what the "Thumbnail" tab of my options looks like:
The thumbnails do show the same weird color effects, but I'm far more concerned with the previews than the thumbnails.
Other settings that seem like they might be relevant:
"Keep 100% Previews In Cache" is checked (under Cache tab)
"Generate Monitor-Size Previews" is checked (under Advanced)
"Preserve Embedded Color Profile" is checked (under Output)

Why are my Bridge previews so tiny?

Can anyone tell me why my Bridge previews are so tiny for vectors? My preview won't go any larger than a thumbnail size. When I use the zoom tool over the preview, the magnified preview box is so pixelated I can't even make anything out. I am using Adobe Bridge CS4 on Windows 7 (64 bit). All Bridge settings are currently default. The issue is only with vector images - raster images scale to full size without the pixelation. I have already tried uninstalling my adobe products and reinstalling, but it didn't change anything.
I attached a full resolution thumbnail (on a 1440x900 screen) in case anyone wants to see exactly what I'm talking about. The preview pane on the far left is as large as the image will scale. The images are default illustrator sample files, and I've seen the same images scaled in bridge at full size in tutorial videos which didn't seem to require any special configuration to make work.

What would defragmenting the TDMS file afterwards mean for the file size?

Why not use Bridge CS4 with PsCS3?

I will post this on both the Bridge and Ps User-to-User forums as it applies to both.
I have PsCS3 and PsCS4 installed side by side in the default folders assigned by Adobe but have shifted my Bridge CS4 Cache (containing all the thumbnails and previews) from C:Documents and Settings\etc to a subfolder within My Documents, which I had previously moved to my F: drive - my main data drive.
I have found Bridge CS4 to be much more stable than Bridge CS3. Additionally, Bridge CS4 has certain features which make it more attractive and easier to use than Bridge CS3. I want to use Bridge CS4 in conjunction with PsCS3 until Adobe has sorted out the problems with PsCS4 - which at the moment is simply unuseable on my rather old and humble system.
On my system, I seem to be able to use Bridge CS4 with PsCS3 without any problems detected so far. I even have things set up such that any JPEG, TIFF or PSD file double clicked within Bridge CS4 or within Windows Explorer (Win XP Pro SP3) automatically opens the file in PsCS3 and not PsCS4 (provided, of course, that PsCS4 is not itself already running). Furthermore, even with PsCS3 running beside Bridge CS4, from within Bridge CS4 I can open any RAW, JPEG or TIFF file in Camera Raw 5.1 and use its new features (Adjustment Brush, Graduated Filter, extra vignetting capabilities, etcetera) which were not available in the last release of Camera Raw (4.6 I think) associated with PsCS3. The only problem comes when trying to open edits made in Camera Raw 5.1 in PsCS3 using the "Open Image" button in ACR - it does nothing/won't work, this is, it won't open the image with the ACR adjustments in PsCS3. That's not a big deal for me - as I am currently not doing any work within ACR (any version) and if I needed to I could simply save the ACR edits and then open the files in PsCS4, save the files as PSDs and then open them in PsCS3 to finalise them there.
Has anyone else had a similar experience, or does anyone else know of any reason(s) why I should not continue to use this workflow, at least in the short term?

Why does the Video looks Pixelated after Burning DVD

In IDVD when I preview the video it looks great, when I burn the DVD it comes out very very pixelated. I've changed the preferences from Best Performance to Best Quality, and the project properties as well I've done the same. Does anyone know why this is happening?

How are you viewing the DVD you created - on a computer or on a TV?
In IDVD when I preview the video it looks great
The preview uses your original content on your hard drive and is simply designed to allow you to see if the 'flow' (sequences, menus, etc) are what you wanted.
In addition, although iDVD 'supports' HD, it only supports it in the context of current specifications - not the new HD DV world that has two competing HD DVD formats.
This means your 1280x720 content gets downsized and compressed to fit on a 720x480 DVD. The video must be 'expanded' to play on a HD set.
BTW, your aspect ratio is 16:9 and NOT 16:4. 16:4 would REALLY be widescreen! I haven't seen THAT spec yet.

Why do vector graphics appear pixelated when zoomed in, isn't fireworks meant to support vectors?

I am new to using Fireworks, but I thought it would be great since it has both vector and bitmap support. However, when I work with vector tools and a vector image I imported from Illustrator, if I zoom into the image, it appears as though it's a bitmap. Also, if I were to resize the image down 25% and then bring it back up to a size similar to what it was at, it will look distorted and the quality will have changed? Why is this? I do this in Illustrator with no such results. I thought vectors should be able to be resized up, down, or up and down and they should look relatively the same. Any ideas, what is going on?

You see how the starting image looks VERY different from the image after the resize. why?!?!?!?!?!??!?

Why No Mini Bridge In AI CS 5?

The mini bridge is rapidly becoming my favorite features but it is not available in Illustrator, Illustrator supports drag and drop from the find as does Photoshop CS 5, I am glad that Photoshop now supports drag and drop from the finder but wonder why they did not bother to bring the mini bridge to illustrator which would make it simpler to find items to drag and drop with the the need to exit the document foocus.
Doesn't quit make sense to not support this feature in Illustrator which would benefit greatly for it.

But InDesign has it as well and I think this is like the craziest omission I can think of and they have made some serious ones in the past.
Hopefully the next version all the apps will have it and that in case there are any problems it will be done in the way so that it will not cause any unforeseen difficulties.

Why won't bridge open?

Yes, I'm slow, but it has taken me several months to figure out how to create clothing with lace digitally. I had the big ah hah. I was up all night. It is 6.00am. The creative juices were flowing and then guess what?
Adobe Bridge will not open back up. Why? Because I paid for the Photoshop CC subscription they have been hounding me to join. Apparently I haven't downloaded something or something. Why No Mini Bridge in AI CS6?

Am I the only one that thinks this feature would be really a time saver in AI.
I mean since you can drag and drop from the finder images and files into AI and the mini bridge brings the finder to your work space I think it would be helpful to not have to refocus to the finder or us explorer on windows to locate your assets.
I am wondering why I never hear about the lack of this feature when it is popular in Photoshop and Premiere and other Adobe applications.
Just wondering, also wondering why Adobe just doesn't do this for all the apps?

I am not certain you understand what I see as a time saving feature this is not about information as such but about access to files the information is fine but asset management is a more important issue and first things first as far as making the feature request both the Bridge and the Mini Bridge are feature requests I made long before there was such features.
I was curious about why it was not implimented in all the programs as it shouldd have been done by now?
Phtoshop has it, InDesign has the Mini Bridge and Premiere Pro and Audition have media browsers so I don't really see the reason not to include such a feature.
As far as more information that might be a good feature request.

Why are my images being pixelated when using free transform?

HI.
I am pretty comfortbale with PS but stil learning more of the finer details. I can't find an answer for this on any help topics or threads.
I often bring several images into a document or workflow and it seems that when I reduce an image that's too big for the canvas, it looses it's quality as soon as I break out the transform tool and becomes very pixelated. Any thoughts?

Thanks for both of your suggestions. My images are at 100ppi resolution and I am viewing the documents at about 150% the entire time. My image interpolation is set for bicubit (best for smooth gradient).
I've tried to reproduce the problem in different ways before replying here and think I've narrowed it down a bit. It seems that when I use the File->Place way to insert an image into an existing document, I don't run into this pixelation or image degredation issue. It's only when I drag an image from one document to another using tabbed document introduced in CS4 (I'm using CS5 btw).
If I have document 1 open and drag an image (or layer) from document 2 into document 1, then resize that image in document 1, I get a loss of quality. Not sure if that helps anyone else. Also not sure why this is hapenning as the ability to drag layers back and forth is pretty handy and I'd rather not give it up.

Why are my gradients so pixelated???

I have attached a pic of the gradient I am trying to create. Why is it so pixelated??? I am just drawing a white square and applying a gradient in the Blending Modes box and this is what I get... please tell me how to make it a smooth gradient!!! This is driving me crazy!

I'm sorry, but all I see is a 300 x 300 black square. Maybe this is due to me only having PS CS2?
Often, pixelation is a result of the the resolution of an image. What will happen is similar to Posterization. When you apply a Gradient, not as a Layer Effect, is the result the same?
