Enter the device manager and verify that the webcam is present and has a driver installed.
1) Test your webcam by using the YouCam software that was delivered with your notebook. (you should also be able to test it with MSN or Skype setup). You may have to uninstall it and then reinstall the software.

I have a problem with my webcam and mic.
- People hear me from really far when I use skype even if i talk with a 1cm distance from the mic.
- The webcam is not detected by skype or msn. When I go to the device manager there is no (!).

HP Pavilion G4 Series Built-In Keyboard and Mice isn't Working
The built in keyboard is working in BIOS but when it's starting up with the OS isn't working the built in Keyboard and Mice too, i didn't know how to fix it, i already tried to uninstall the Keyboard then Reboot, doesn't working, i also tried the remove the battery and ac adapter holding on the Power Button atleast 30secs., Please Please Please Help Me!!! I am using iPad1. Running v4.3 and when connecting to wifi iPad keyboard does not work. Keyboard works for everything else including typing this question out. Why would it not work when typingin password for wifi connection?

I would start your troubleshooting with the article below for issues of not being able to log in to your Mac. Start with booting up in to Safe Boot as well as resetting PRAM on your Mac. If that does not work, then verify the hard drive with booting to the Recover HD and go to Disk Utility to verify it.

I am on Mac OS 10.6.7 and Java Plug-in 2 for NAPI will not work in FF4.0?
When trying to attend a webinar which uses the Java 2 NAPI plug-in I get an error message in FF 4.0 saying I need to install thiis plug-in, which is already installed. I have gone to the add-on manager and disabled this plug-in restarted and enabled it again, but it still will not work.
Any ideas?I forgot one detail. This happened while I was having trouble seeing the mouse cursor (I use Apple's Magic Mouse). It had disappeared briefly. I had to drag the cursor out of the Firefox Window for it to reappear. I accidentally entered full screen view while the cursor was not visible.

Otherwise, you can perform a restore operation to return it to the Mac format.
