Why is my Call Answer screen so big?

Using iOS 6, my Call Answer screen is sometimes HUGE.  When I get an incoming call, I can only see a few letters of their name and a really enlarged corner of the contact/background image--I can't even see the Swipe to Answer bar.  I have to do a hard-reset to resolve the issue, but it will eventually revert to the large screen and inability to answer.

Hi David,
that's because every single time you execute a DQS component inside a SSIS package DQS starts a Cleansing Project in its database and it saves it.
You can use a TSQL script to clean your old SSIS-generated projects

  • Why 2 different call answering scenarios?

    I have noticed that when receiving phone calls on my iPhone, the screen appears two different ways --
    Sometimes there is a slider you have to slide from left to right to answer a call. And sometimes there are two buttons -- a green button to accept the call, and a red one to decline it.
    Does anybody know why there are two different answer screens? And what criteria determine which screen appears when a call is coming in?
    Rick

    When your iPhone is asleep it will have the slider.
    And when it isn't asleep it will have the two buttons

    Why does my caller I.D. photos show as a small thumbnail in the upper right corner and not full screen? I have used both photos I have synced and photos I have taken, yet others have full screen photo I.D.'s. I have looked onlime at several threads and there are no real answers as to what I need to do or am doing wrong.

    I am also having this issue.
    I've just spoken to someone in the Apple Support Centre who advised me that since the product is in beta, he is unable to assist. I wanted to find out whether someone was able to delete the data for me, or 'reset' the photos app somehow. This apparently cannot be done. He suggested I provide feedback via the feedback page, which I will do, but to be honest doesn't fill me with a lot of confidence in the issue being fixed.
    I also deactivated the service and waited the 30 days for the pictures to be deleted - this should have been completed in mid-January. Instead, my iCloud.com Photos page is now showing the photos that should have been deleted as grey squares, just as you described. I am also unable to delete these photos; every time I try, I get the same message about a server error.
    I am also unable to disable the service by enabling and then disabling it on my iPhone. Each time I have tried this it hangs on uploading for several hours, with the progress bar not moving at all. When I disable it on my iPhone, the web app remains unchanged.
    If anyone has had this issue and has managed to fix it, PLEASE share your wisdom. I am out of patience!

    Flying Icon? Like a plane?
    If so, the phone is in Airplane mode
    Swipe up to get the control panel, tap the airplane

    1. Open the camera app.
    2. Move the slider from in the bottom right from photo to video.
    3. Begin recording your video.
    4. While your video is recording, tap the camera icon in the upper right to take a photo.
    5. You'll see the shutter close on your screen each time you snap a photo.
    6. Your photos will be saved to your camera roll.
    Edit:
    Just noticed you have a 4S...iPhone 5 only, sorry.

    I have Iphone 5 and updated to IOS 8... I can not receive a call, the Screen become black and I can not answer the phone call

    Hey there jjroca,
    It sounds like you are unable to make or recieve phone calls because the screen goes black. I would start by quitting all the running apps on the device:
    iOS: Force an app to close
    Double-click the Home button.
    Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
    Swipe the app up to close it.
    When you have done that restart the device and test the issue again:
    iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting
    If that does not resolve the issue, I would use the troubleshooting in the following article, named:
    iPhone: Troubleshooting issues making or receiving calls
    Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
    Take care,
    Sterling

  • Why does my iphone 3gs screen goes black after reaching another party and won't come back on to press end the call

    why does my iphone 3gs screen goes black after reaching another party and won't come back on to end the call

    hi smalley3,
    Welcome to the Forums.
    The flickering issue maybe due to a bad LCD cable or in some cases, a faulty GPU (the GPU is integrated to the CPU, and the CPU is soldered to the motherboard).
    If there's still no image on the screen even after connecting an external display then you likely have a bad GPU.
    In this case, I recommend you contact support for service (and also to see if there's a consideration that can be done on the warranty repair).

  • Why does my iphone 3gs screen go white after it goes "to sleep" for the first time after turning it on?

    Why does my iphone 3gs screen go white after it goes "to sleep" for the first time after turning it on?
    The screen isn't broken because it works after i turn the device off and back on, but after it goes black once, it's only white again.
    But it takes the touches although it's only white, because I can answer my phone when I slide my finger on the bottom of the screen, eventhough there in not the button to see.
    This is so weird. I have already done everything I can think of that might help. But I cannot think of anything that might be causing it, because nothing has happened to the device.

    Let me know if I should start a new discussion instead of opening a new topic here.
    My wife's iPhone is the same vintage as mine 3Gs, but has never had the battery problem.  Its affliction instead is that it cannot detect WiFi networks unless it is quite close to the source.  Often, when my iPhone not only detects but shows a maximum cells connection with a network, hers cannot detect the network at all.  In contrast, her iPhone seems to detect ourcellular carrier just as well as mine does.
    Is there any help for this affliction?

  • Why cant I call a getResultSet method more than 1

    Why cant I call the getRSS method more than 1 time from my page?
    I have a class called methods class, here is the code:
    public class methodsClass {
        public java.sql.Connection objConn = null;
        public String query = null;
        public java.sql.PreparedStatement statement = null;
        public java.sql.ResultSet objRS = null;
        /** Creates a new instance of methodsClass */
        public methodsClass() {}
         public ResultSet getRSS(String sql)
            String strSQL = sql;
            try
                Class.forName("oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver");
                objConn = java.sql.DriverManager.getConnection("jdbc:oracle:thin:@localhost:1521:CCD","system", "Abcd1234");
                statement = objConn.prepareStatement(strSQL,ResultSet.TYPE_SCROLL_INSENSITIVE,ResultSet.CONCUR_READ_ONLY);
                objRS = statement.executeQuery();
            catch (Exception e)
                System.err.println("Error in getRSS method");
                e.printStackTrace();
            return objRS;
        public void killConn()
            try
                    objRS.close();
                    System.out.println("Resultset is closed");
                    statement.close();
                    System.out.println("Statement is closed");
                    objConn.close();
                    System.out.println("Connection is closed");
                catch(Exception e)
                System.err.print("Unable to kill all objects");
                e.printStackTrace();
    //END OF CLASS***************************************** I call the method from the following jsp:
    <%
    String eqCat = "Tracked Vehicle";
    String strSQL = "SELECT DISTINCT * FROM robert WHERE eqcategory = '"+eqCat+"'";
    methodsClass mc = new methodsClass();
    ResultSet objRS = mc.getRSS(strSQL);
    java.lang.System.out.println(strSQL);
    %>
         <select name="selectBox">
         <% while(objRS.next()){
             out.println("<option value='"+objRS.getString("eqtype")+"'>"+objRS.getString("eqtype")+"</option>");
               mc.killConn();
    %> The above works fine.
    If I try to call the getRSS function again on this page I get the following error:javax.servlet.ServletException: Exhausted Resultset
    I tried to call it like so:
    newNameSQL = "Select * from robert where eqtypes = 'someVariable'";
    newNameRS = mc.getRSS(strSQL);
    <%=newNameRSS.getString("something");%>I cant understand why I get this error, I am closing the rs,conn and statement in the killConn method.
    TIA!

    I did that but still the same error. The problem is when I attempt to open up another resultset on the same page I get the Exhausted ResultSet error. I have even eliminated the class file altogether by doing this:
      String eqCat = "Tracked Vehicle";
      String strSQL = "SELECT DISTINCT eqtype FROM robert WHERE eqcategory = '"+eqCat+"'";
      Class.forName("oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver");
      Connection objConn = java.sql.DriverManager.getConnection("jdbc:oracle:thin:@localhost:1521:CCD","system", "Abcd1234");
      PreparedStatement statement = objConn.prepareStatement(strSQL,ResultSet.TYPE_SCROLL_INSENSITIVE,ResultSet.CONCUR_READ_ONLY);
      ResultSet objRS = statement.executeQuery();
      System.out.println(strSQL);
    //The above works fine and then below I add this and the error comes back
         <select name="cs_popup_name_1" onchange="CSURLPopupShow(/*CMP*/'cs_form_name_1', /*CMP*/'cs_popup_name_1', 'Main');">
         <% while(objRS.next()){
            String eq = objRS.getString("eqtype");
             out.println("<option value='"+eq+"'>"+eq+"</option>");
    objRS.close();
    objConn.close();
    statement = null;
    strSQL = null;
    strSQL = "SELECT * FROM robert";
      Class.forName("oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver");
      objConn = java.sql.DriverManager.getConnection("jdbc:oracle:thin:@localhost:1521:CCD","system", "Abcd1234");
      statement = objConn.prepareStatement(strSQL,ResultSet.TYPE_SCROLL_INSENSITIVE,ResultSet.CONCUR_READ_ONLY);
      ResultSet rs = statement.executeQuery();

  • Lack of "Call answered" indication - Nokia 6300

    This seems a very basic point - when you make an outgoing call, the screen icon does NOT seem to change when the call is answered.
    Is this just a strangely omitted feature from an otherwise reasonable phone, or does 'call progress' have to be enabled somehow from a setting I have not yet found ? (Or do I need better glasses ?! )
    My previous Philips phone (bought in 2002!) showed this clearly, so you could hold the phone away from your ear and watch the screen while waiting for the called person to answer.
    This does not seem to be possible from the supposedly more advanced Nokia phone.

    Is it ok to e-mail me the 3dparty name or link because i haven't been able to find anything on the we if yes my e-mail is , also does that means that Nokia is never going to include thiw functionality in her Pc-Suite ?
    Creating a contact for every mobile phone you are callin seems ok for home users but not for business use it is out of the question and least but not last not convinient !!

  • What is the procedure for calling three screens in order?

    Hi friends,
                  Can anyone solve my problem of knowing how to call three screens.
    In one screen i will be give say emp-id and password
    it has to go to next screen have 2 radiobuttons functional and technical after selecting it has to go next screen where employee name timein and timeout will be there where i have to store employee name and timein and out in a table please its urgent can any one help with this. Creation of screens are perfect but only calling the screens in order and storing the data in a table is my problem.
    Solutions will be surely rewarded.

    hi,
    screens can be called by any one of the following methods:
    1.using a t-code
    2.from abap program
    if ur calling it from abap program, make use of CALL SCREEN
    syntax:
    CALL SCREEN <dynnr>.
    statement to call a screen and its subsequent sequence within that program. The flow logic of each screen calls dialog modules in the program that called the screen.
    When the screen sequence ends, control returns to the statement after the original CALL SCREEN statement.
    To termintate the screen sequence, use  LEAVE TO SCREEN.
    These statements exit the current screen and call the defined next screen. If the next screen is screen 0, the entire screen sequence concludes.
    please rewards points if useful.
    regards
    sandhya
