Why is my content below my sidebar?

Here is my site-in-progress: http://www.ellybooks.co.uk/test/
As you can see, the content - and the right sidebar - has been pushed to underneath the left sidebar. This happened when I inserted the top menu bar using Spry 2.0 widget. Why? And how can I get my content back in the correct part of the page - under the header and between the two sidebars.
I've tried floating left & right and changing the margin, but to no avail (an increased left margin moved the content to the left, but still not up).
I'm now officially stuck. Help would be appreciated.
To create this page, I used the template which came with Dreamweaver CS5 - liquid, three column + header & footer. As you can see, I've just got the template content in there at the momen.
I've included some design elements from my Zen Cart (www.ellybooks.co.uk/shop) so the pages kind of match.

I seem to have fixed the unfixable!
What is it about running out of ideas and feeling the only thing you can do is ask for help that makes you suddenly try something that works?
Anyway, so I moved the code which made up the list of the Spry 2.0 menubar to between the header image and the left sidebar - and it seems to have worked! Didn't I try that before?
All is rosy now and I can start changing some of that content.

Problem is if I delete that .plist I'll delete those downloads. I'm still able to launch those downloads from that location so that tells that file is probably not corrupted. I need to be able to located that folder and transfer the downloads from it before I do anything like this. So that begs the question, where is that folder located? When I do a folder search I'm taken to a Downloads folder, but it's not the one that is showing up from within Safari as it's contents are too different.

make sure u've specified da style in output options of text element as
TIMES 10 in style field and select da desired paragraph and charcter format in general attributes tab of da text element.activaTE AND CHECK.
if problem still persists u can ask again.

Content below Accordion widget not moving?

I want to have content below the accordion widget to slide down when one of the panels is open. Right now the accordion widget slides behind the content when one of the panels is open. I have "Overlap Items Below" checked.
From the Lynda.com site: " The Accordion panel now includes an option to Overlap Items Below. When selected, content below the Accordion panel will move down on the page as an Accordion panel is opened/expanded."

That seems like a typographical omission on Lynda.com's blog.
You need to uncheck that option to move the content below accordion down upon opening the panel.

Getting a slide to OVERLAY the content below

I have a side with an information div... right below when
someone clicks on the informational div thing, a slider pops out
below it with a form. What I'd like to do is have arbitrary content
below the information div thing and when the slider pops out, it
OVERLAYS the content below it rather than shifting divs around and
that kind of thing.
Is this possible?

Hi There,
Go to Slide Properties > Under Actions > On Enter set Show Widget and On Exit set Go to the next slide.
Then preview it and see if that makes any difference.

I can recommend you do the following:
1/ Quit Mail completely via the Mail-menu
2/ Open the Finder and find the go-menu near the top left corner of your computer display (not the Finder-window) Choose go to folder.
Copy-paste the following line into the field that appears, including the ~ :
~/library/mail/v2/maildata/
3/ Move all files that start with "envelope" and "ExternalUpdate" to the trash. Don't empty the trash in case we need to restore these files (which is not likely, but still)
4/ Restart OS X. Open Mail. Now it will re-import your existing mail. Is your issue solved after this?

Spry Menu Bar- Display content below menu

After playing around a bit in DW as I am still very new to it I have gotten a menu bar setup with the appropriate links. I have been using frames with the top frame that displays the menu bar and the bottom frame to show the content. This works but since each tab drops down 4-5 items i need to make the top frame longer so all items display but leaves a lot of white space when it is just the menu bar showing by itself.
What other method is there that I can use that will display the menu bar AND display the contents below it? Im sure this wont be possible using frames so is there an easy way to do so in dreamweaver?

Its intended to be run locally so I dont have a link but here is the html for my index file. As you can see I have set the top row at 200 so it will display all the items in the menu bar when a user hovers over one of the bars. What I am trying to do is eliminate the white space by setting the top frame to around 60 but doing so you wont be able to see the drop down items. Make sense?

This page looks as I want in IE but the main content drops

the menu and just about fills the width of the container div
in FF. I
know it has to do with the margins being set on the menu and
possibly
the content, but don't see how else to do this. I am sure
there is a
better way, well actually a way that works, but I seem to
stuck in
whatever way I am thinking at the moment.

No I meant the height of the image used for the header,
that's why I said to
slice it. Part of the image goes in th header DIV the other
part is used
with the nav. The rest is whole whitespace you don't need...

You don't think 10 - 15k doesn't worth the effort? But it is
huge! What's
the total weight of your page (including markup and all

Use this:
#header img {display:block}
As a side note, you're not using the Image Replacement
technique I mentioned
before, which is no big deal as you're using IMG elements now
(vs.
background images), but make sure to use ALT attributes.

Why the painted content flash and disappear?

I try to run a simple code example from java almanac site but the painted content just flash and disappear. Can any people help to find the reason? Thanks in advance.

Why is Get-Content inserting extra subdirectories in directory path

Can someone please look at the following 6 lines of code and explain the output I'm receiving? I've been looking at the code segment for a week trying to figure out what could possibly be wrong and I can't. At this point I'm convinced it's a
weird powershell bug - but I'd be happy if someone here could prove me wrong, explain what I'm seeing and tell me how to correct it. "logit" is irrelevant to the issue - it's just a simple function which calls tee-object to print the line to
the screen and write it to a file. I added the here string code just to inspect what the line looks like after substitution. The value of $servertype when this code snippet runs is "Core" (as you can see in the output).

I deleted the extra error info from the above output to illustrate the problem more clearly (I'll paste it below). The problem is that the path that cannot be found has the first 2 directory levels duplicated (C:\Temp\Setup-Core\Temp\Setup-CORE\...)
instead of (C:\Temp\Setup-CORE\...) - note the difference in the case of the word "Core".
How and why could this be happening - and what do I need to do to make this work properly?

I've been staring at the problem for a week before reaching out for help. Yes it's a stupid typo that I should have seen during one of the dozens of times I reviewed the code - but I didn't. I'll bet you've encountered stupid mistakes before

CSS, Main content div and sidebar length

I'm using DW CS4 and am using the 2 column fixed left sidebar with header and footer.
I want to make sure the main content div is never shorter than the length of the sidebar. I've got a coloured background, but want the bottom of the sidebar and main content div to be the same, if that makes sense?

For equal height columns, create a 2-colored background image and repeat-y (vertically). This technique is called Faux Columns. See examples below.

Need Help on using Forge Config Manager and CAS. Questions listed in the content below

I have an existing Endeca pipeline implementation where we read the data sets (Product Catalog Information) from Oracle database using JDBC adapters. The data set undergoes a series of manipulation until it gets indexed to the Endeca system. We make use of PCI for dimensions and dimension values. However, we now want to extend PCI to also include the Product catalog information. The current implementation also does not make use of CAS adapters to consume the dimensions data in PCI. The next consideration is to implement PCI as close to Out of the Box provisions and standardize it. Therefore we are also considering to implement CAS.
The questions are as below:
1. What are the ideal parameters that should support the use of PCI implementation (Dataset + dimension + precedence Rules + schema information) ? Note: We DO NOT have any product catalog system (like ATG) between database and Endeca.
2. Considering that we do not have any product catalog system to organize and maintain data, how feasible is it to read directly from database through CAS Adapters and process the data ?
3. We also plan to introduce partial update pipeline in future releases. Keeping that in mind should CAS based approach help us to read from a record store at the time of partial updates ?
4.in case we are limiting to a business case of implementing partial updates in the above explained existing design, should a custom CAS approach be a better design ? Custom CAS approach = writing the baseline output data to record store and later referring it at the time of partial updates.
5. Will CAS based approach help to reduce the baseline timings ?
6. What is the best way to export data to record store instance in the above design ? (Record store API / Command line utility / CAS crawl)

Hi Neeraj,
You cam use both PI SLD and Solman Local SLD for LMDB synchronization. Now here you make to make sure that correct ranks are assigned to PI and Solman SLD. With the help of multiple sld, you can remove the cause of concern. Local SLD should always be of solman.
For CR content. that you can do for solution manager system in a click.

Why is the content in the program tab "grey" and not clickable?

Does anyone know why I can't synchronize individual programs in iTunes? When I connect my iPad to iTunes I can synchronize and back up the device but I can't do anything under the tab "programs" in iTunes. I can see my apps but I can't do anything

I GOT IT FIXED!
This is my solution to the grey songs, cant buy from iTunes app or App Store, and syncing problems.
im just going to say it how it is and no robot instructions. it takes any where from 30 minutes to 1-2 hours depending on how much stuff is on your iPhone. so here is how i fixed mine
1. Back up your iPhone whatever device you have
2. Disconnect from iTunes and unplug your Apple device
3. NOTE:NOT FROM YOUR COMPUTER, BUT go into the
Settings app>General>Restore: Erase All Content and Settings
4. Let it Restart and you will be prompted with the ios 5 Setup screen and continue setting up UNTIL you get to the part where it asks you about RESTORING from a back up via iTunes, iCloud, or setup as a new iPhone.
5. select the iTunes option. connect to iTunes and right click your iPhone from the devices list and select "Restore from Backup..."
6. select the backup you did just a few ago.
7. let it backup, it may take a while from 10 minutes to 30. it took me 20 (so find something to do like watch a tv show or something. go on youtube and watch a video or two to pass the time)
8. once restored, it will come up on the device list on iTunes. ONLY click the iPhone DO NOT click the music on the iPhone. click sync if it isn't already.
9. after it is done, THEN click the music on the drop down selection on your iPhone. all the previous music that was gray/grey, should be black like normal, if not then press sync and then go back to music.
this worked for me so hopefully it will work for you.
this grey song issue ****** me off so much i wanted to throw my iPhone 4S at the wall and see all the glass shatter into a million pieces. nasdlfhsdfsdjfnl gahhh. everything is working like a charm now so you're welcome if this worked.
