Why is my Creative Cloud application window blank?

Today, I received a notification after windows 7 startup saying that there was an update availble for creative cloud.  I clicked on it and I there is basically nothing there.  What is the issue?

    I have unistalled and reinstalled the creative cloud many times, along with restarting my computer. I have also tried all of these solutions many times: CC desktop lists applications as "Up to Date" when not installed.

    Are you logging as an administrator. Have you used the Adobe Clean tool to remove all of the partial installed files? The steps in the link that you posted should resolve this issue. Removal of the OPM.DB usually works. Did you find the file? Often people have a difficult finding the file. I would suggest to go thru the steps in this help doc for network troubleshooting steps. Check your hosts file for network connection.

    I am trying to upgrade lightroom 4 to 5, and i can't access it through the creative cloud app because it won't load. I even bought lightroom and photoshop creative cloud again, but it has to download through the cc app.

    Quit Creative Cloud application .
    End Adobe related tasks like Creative Cloud , CoreSync, AAMUpdater...etc from Task Manager.
    1) Right click on Finder icon and  select "Go-To" Folder option.
      2) You will get a text box, type-in below command and then hit 'Return' key.( Do not miss ~ symbol)
    ~/library
    3)Then navigate to Application Support>Adobe>OOBE. Open OOBE folder and delete opm file.
    Once you had deleted opm.db file.
    Disable Anti-Virus and Firewall temporarily .
    Then launch Creative Cloud app and check.

  • I can't open Creative Cloud in Windows 7. I get nothing -- not even the blank window.

    It's worked fine until yesteday. Initially it only opened the white window and I followed many suggestions on this forum, renamed OOEB, used CC Cleaner, reinstalled, deleted opm.db. Now it is worse — it will not even open the blank window. I get the spinning circle for a few seconds and then it stops. If I watch the task manager I can see it try to load and then it doesn't.     I have just been chatting with Adobe and I have resolved the situation on my computer.
    Open up Run and enter %localappdata%/adobe/ and hit ok. Delete OOBE and AAMupdater folders.
    Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe and delete OOBE and Adobeapplicationmanager folders. If another program is not allowing you to delete open up task manager and end these processes AAM updater, AAM notifier, Adobe crash demon, CEF helper, IPC broker, Coresync then try deleting.
    Now go to the location: C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe and delete the Adobe Creative Cloud folder. If you cannot delete, try renaming the folder to Adobe Creative Cloud2.
    Now download the Application Manager from here Adobe - Adobe Application Manager
    Install it and let it do its updates. Once it is done the Creative Cloud program window should open.
    Hopefully it works for you.

    So, I've been trying to install photoshop and creative cloud is completely blank. The site says it's installing but I'm not sure if that's really the case?     Creative cloud won't load, nor can I shut it down. Every time I click on the icon the drop down is blank. (using a mac)

    Launch Activity Monitor and "Force Quit" all the process related to Adobe like Creative Cloud, CoreSync, AAMupdater, AAMupdater notifier, Adobe Crash demon from Activity monitor.

    Similar problem just happened to me with the Creative Cloud Update 1.7.1.418—slightly different so I thought I'd share. I have multiple Adobe Creative Cloud programs installed on my computer, all working just fine. I updated the Cloud App to the latest version and then it shows me that I have only one program installed! All my previously installed programs (Photoshop and the like) still work but show as "install" instead of "Up to date". Initially I thought I'd have to re-install the Cloud app or recreate the OPM data base but then I noticed that some of the Cloud app preferences (Apps > Settings > App Language) were different to what I had set previously. I use English (International) language, the update had reverted the app back to English (North American). I flicked back to my previous language and bam, all my apps now show as being installed correctly.
