Why is my custom background doing this?

I found a webpage telling the exact pixel size for a iPhone 4/4s wallpaper. I'd used the pixel size a few months ago and it worked perfectly. However I tried creating a couple more backgrounds last night and it is zooming in really far. Below is the image background I created as well as a screenshot of what it is doing to me.
Does anyone know why I is doing this or how to fix it? I've tried all I can think I and it won't work.

This issue can be caused by an old bitmap version of the Helvetica or Geneva font or (bitmap) fonts that Firefox can't display in that size.
Firefox can't display some old bitmap fonts in a larger size and displays gibberish instead.
You can test that by zooming out (View > Zoom > Zoom Out, Ctrl -) to make the text smaller.
Uninstall (remove) all variants of that not working font to make Firefox use another font or see if you can find a True type version that doesn't show the problem.
There have also been fonts with a Chinese name reported that identify themselves as Helvetica, so check that as well.
Use this test to see if the Helvetica font is causing it (Copy & Paste the code in the location bar and press Enter):

You should reset the network.http prefs that show user set on the about:config page. 
Not all websites support http pipelining and if they do not then you can have issues with images or other problems.

Are you saying that when you go to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup, "iCloud Backup" is grayed out at the bottom? If so, is this an iPad from your employer or do you have your employer's exchange email account on it? If you do, your employer may have installed a profile on it that prevents you from backing up to iCloud. If that's the case you would see a setting called "Profile" in Settings>General near the bottom.

Gone through 6 Routers.... why do these routers keep doing this?

So.... First router i ever bought was WRT54G and i wanted to upgrade to N so recently i picked up a Linksys E2000. and got it home, and worked awesome... ping was low. download speeds were at exactly what im paying for with Suddenlink. 8mbps. and then i got shut off one night, for downloading copyrighted movies, whatever, they reactivated the internet and since then my xbox says NAT moderate and ping went up. download speeds lowered.
Since i was still within return policy at staples i returned it. and picked up another one. set it up, and it worked awesome again. until.... 5 days or so later. and it got all slow and NAT moderate.... exchanged again. and I basically repeated this 4 times, 5 routers. all worked great until a few days later. so hell I just returned it. and went to Kmart and picked up an E1000. worked ok. download speeds were about half and ping said 80 (e2000's said 30 brand new) but my NAT was open and thats what i want most. okay so 2 days later... TODAY... my ping.... ...went down to 30?!? at first i was like alriiight.... download speeds increased a tiny bit. but when i turned my xbox on. NAT - Moderate. **bleep**!?!? what in the hell is going on here? is this a linksys router problem. is my ISP messing with me? ive had them come down the first time the E2000 went out. they said my modem was receiving all 8 mbps.

i hooked my xbox directly into the modem. NAT is open. hooked my laptop up, pressed the reset button on modem and i went to speedtest.net and ping test and didnt really like that i was only getting 2mbps when im paying for 8. sometimes i get 8 though. but you would think, directly in modem i would get 8mbps at 2 o'clock in the afternoon
so now what? is it coincidence that i went through a string of possibly broken routers? when i first hook the thing up it works great and then goes bad. and factory defaulting the device doesnt help at all.

That the Video freeses can have many origins. Most common is:
- less than 5Gb free space on internal hard disk
- use of external hard disk that is formatted FAT32 /DOS/UNIX/Mac OS Exchange
should be: Mac OS Extended or Mac OS Extended (journaled)
- other background processes running: Screen/Energy savers, photo as desktop
backgroud - even worse if it changes every 5th second
If You got > 25Gb free, no ext. hard disk and a clean desktop:
Deleting iMovie pref file - should help

Why does this error occur in Digital Editions?

I am working in a contact centre and have a customer who is giving the following complaint:

Please help me understand the issue that is happening here, as it is the first time I have heard of this kind of failure. as for the DRM - I have no control over this, being only the publisher and not the DRM owner.

This had happened to me today as well. I gave constantly tried resetting it, (I don't particularly want to restore it), but earlier did you find that your headphones went funny? Mine would stop playing music, but the phone would keep going. And if I paused it, and then pressed play, No sound would come out. And if I took the headphones out while it was paused it would play on the device, but as before, not through the headphones. But, I fixed it (temporarily) by pulling the headphones out while it was playing, and plugged them back it. But normally this would pause the music, and it didn't, just continued on the phone, with no sound coming out of the speakers. And it would only last for a couple of minutes and happen again. Then I tried resetting the phone, and it wouldn't turn off. Them I fixed the turn off problem by placing on a dock, and I think this also fixed the headphone problem. But then I took it off and then on the dock, and now it won't play through the dock (but it charges) and it won't turn off, again!
Also, apples customer serivice is plainly crap. This should be easy to fix. And I shouldnt have to pay a fee to ring them up for service help.

Does this look more familiar? It's basically a standard bash function. The code you posted, called a forkbomb, creates a bash function called ":" which calls itself recursively twice through a pipe and sends the recursion call to the background. Basically, this causes the process to fork (or split) itself forever. This creates a huge number of processes which overrun your CPU, causing your precious computer to freeze/crash/whatever.
Sending the second function call to the background causes the calling function to not wait until the call returns. Since there is no stop condition for this recursion, the function would wait forever allowing you to kill it and all its children with ^C. Since the recursion call is running in the background, the calling function will complete immediately making it damn near impossible to kill its child processes.
So why call it twice? Because of the recursive call in the background, the calling process dies as soon as it makes the recursive call. Hence, if we only call it once it will always have one process replacing its parent, defeating the purpose of a forkbomb.
What's the point? It's a denial of service attack, plain and simple.

The fact that you can receive means you have a valid e mail address, and have established the connection to the incoming server, so all of that works. Since the send does not work, that means your outgoing server is rejecting whatever settings you used formthe outgoing set up. Try them again.
Google your particular isp, and ipad and many times you will find the exact settings needed for your isp. Or tell us here, and soneone else may be on the same isp. Some mail services need you to change a port, or have a unique name for the outgoing server.

Also experiencing some funky issues with my wireless keyboard. With new batteries, it will just stop functioning. Certain keys intermittently won't work. Also the fans go on as soon as I turn the computer on - some times they stay on and sometimes they don't. Ever since upgrading the operating system - I've been having many issues with this iMac. Not happy. Any answers out there?

Thanks for your reply LexSchellings, There is no disc in the drive and I went through the suggestions you put forward on the phone with Apple support without any luck. I can put a disc in but it pops straight back out again without registering on finder.
The idea of using an external drive was to enable me to avoid the cost and loss of productivity whilst machine in repair... if I have to take it in to get the old drive removed than I might as well have a new internal drive put in, although I do worry about the reliability of these apple drives given my experience with this one coupled with my limited online research ... on line forums seem to be full of people with the same problem (although perhaps searching such forums is bound to make it seem a common problem as users with perfectly working machines are less likely to post (?)) Your reply suggests that no external drive will work whilst the existing drive is in place.
As a postscript: I do realise that this is a user forum ...my secondary question was asking if anyone knows how to put forward a case/complaint to Apple... I can't find a link on the support page that would enable me to do so and I was wondering if anyone on this user forum had any ideas/experience..

What I did was to put in the same name for Album Artist in every track. That seemed to do the trick (previously all those fields were empty). It seems like a lot of work for a simple thing.
iTunes knows (or should know) that these tracks were imported from one CD. So why is it relying on incomplete data from the gracenote database?

Unfortunately, that's the way the cookie crumbles nowadays. Sir Jony Ive's GUI design for iOS7 has been met with much skepticism (to say the least). But until the company sees the compelling need for an adjustment or reversal, it "ain't happenin' ". So amble over to the feedback page ( http://www.apple.com/feedback/ ) and make your displeasure known to the company, OR make it known by not purchasing its products. Because as long as the iGadgets continue selling as fast as they can make them, they will see no need for change.
BTW, do note you are NOT talking to Apple here. This is just a user-to-user forum.
Edit: for now, you can also try out any of the alternate calendaring apps available in the App Store.
