Why is my email address being replaced with someone elses email address when I send it?
In my thunderbird account, we have 4 email accounts set up. There used to be fifth one that I have removed because she no longer works here. However, when I send an email through thunderbird, the recipients do not see my name or email address. It shows up as if it's coming from the woman who previously worked here. How can this happen if I have removed her email address from thunderbird?

This is caused by using the same iCloud account on both phones. When you do this any data you sync with the shared iCloud account such as contacts is merged and will appear on all devices connected to the account. To fix this you both need to have separate iCloud accounts (you can continue to share the same Apple ID for purchasing from the iTunes and app stores).
Decide which iPhone will be keeping the current iCloud account. On the one that will be changing accounts, if you have any photos in photo stream that are not in your camera roll or backed up somewhere else save these to your camera roll by opening the photo stream album in the thumbnail view, tapping Edit, then tap all the photos you want to save, tap Share and tap Save to Camera Roll.
Once this is done, go to Settings>iCloud, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. (This will only delete the account from this phone, not from iCloud. The phone that will be keeping the account will not be effected by this.) When prompted about what to do with the iCloud data, be sure to select Keep On My iPhone. Next, set up a new iCloud account using a different Apple ID (if you don't have one, tap Get a Free Apple ID at the bottom). Then turn iCloud data syncing for contacts, etc. back to On, and when prompted about merging with iCloud, choose Merge. This will upload the data to the new account.
Finally, to un-merge the data you will then have to go to icloud.com on your computer and sign into each iCloud account separately and manually delete the data you don't want from each account (e.g., deleting your son's contacts from your account, and vice versa). -

my iphone just stopped connecting to my wifi and i have tried all the recommended troubleshooting with no success. Also when i send a text , it shows it coming from my email address instead of my cell #. i dont receive any text going to my cell #. help
If i understand what you are saying then you are seeing the WiFi indicator after connecting but Apps are saying that they are not connected to the internet?
Your router may not have given your iPod a valid IP address. Go to Settings > Wifi > your network name and touch the ">" to the right to see the network details. If the IP address starts with 169 or is blank then your router didn't provide an IP address and you won't be able to access the Internet.
Sometimes the fix can be to restart your router (remove power for 30 seconds and restart). Next, reset network settings on your iPod (Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings) and then attempt to connect. In other cases it might be necessary to update the router's firmware with the latest from the manufacturer's support web pages.
If you need more help please give more details on your network, i.e., your router make, model and version, the wifi security being used (WEP, WPA, WPA2), etc. -

If you no longer have your iOS device
If you're using iCloud and Find My iPhone on the device, you can erase the device remotely and remove it from your account by signing in to icloud.com/find, selecting the device, and clicking Erase. When the device has been erased, click Remove from Account.
If you're unable to complete either of the above steps, you should change your Apple ID password. Changing your password won't remove any personal information that is cached on the device, but it will make sure that the new owner can't delete your information from iCloud.

Punctuation sometimes being replaced with "?" when published
Hello,
Every once in a while, when a page has been updated, most of the punctuation is being replaced with question marks (?).
I've since gone in a second time and changed the question marks to the proper punctuation and the page published properly.
Any thoughts?

I noticed on both of the pages, your charset is defined as:

Please try changing it to UTF-8 and see if this resolves the problem:

What is the recalled iPod nano being replaced with
I sent my 1st generation nano back on Monday and got my replacement today (Thursday). Apple is FAST! Kudos for great customer service. However, I also got the 6th gen. silver 8gb nano like deggie said although I didn't know that it was refurbished and I am very disappointed. This is the super-tiny nano that I'm guessing no one liked because they redesigned it after 1 generation. If they were sending refurbished nanos, I would have much preferred any generation but the 3rd or 6th generation or at least the option of choosing from what was available. All of the others look very similar to the 1st generation which I really liked. That said, the 6th gen. does have more memory than my original and has some additional features but I think I would have rather kept my old one. I said I think because I haven't used the "new" one and I might get used to it. Something to consider if you are happy with your 1st generation nano.

First go here - https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/ and login under the manage tab. Check your information and be sure it is all correct.
An AppleID is nothing more than an email address, so if you see another email address in the store, then someone has logged in with a different AppleID than yours. Did you let someone else use your iPhone? -

I was wondering if anyone has tried to run a different JSP implementation on top
of the WL servlet container. Has anyone tried this. Is it possible? I'm really
curious. The reason I as is that WL6.1 currently breaks reponse post processing
with a filter when a request is made to a jsp page.

My daughter and I were both on same Apple ID. We are trying to change hers but when we do, it says her email is already associated with an Apple ID but when we try to get the password, it says that it could not be verified. How do we correct this?

First of all, I would have to say that getting in touch with you is a nightmare and I am not at all happy that I can't just email or live chat with someone who can help! I am not a technical person, I just want to be able to use Photoshop Elements and get on with it. I bought Photoshop Elements via Amazon some months ago and it worked fine. I then got a message that advised that the trial version would expire, which it subsequently has (I have been trawling your site for weeks and weeks trying to find an email or phone contact to get some assistance). Relucltantly, I am now typing this - and I suspect it will not help in the slightest! Have you tried to delete the account from your Preferences and to Re-Enter it? That usually will help.
If not, try to use "Mail.app" as mail client in iPhoto and not iPhoto. Change the the stting in the Preferences > General tab to "Email photos using Mail". This is usually more robust thanthe setting "iPHoto".
