So, at first, I thought it was the lighting, or my green screen wasn't unwrinkled enough. I'd made some other videos in the past without any problem, so, figured, it was fine. Instead I get this
What's happening, what can I do to fix it, and how do I start getting the software working right? Thank You!

In iMovie 9.0.9 if it possible to reduce the size of a green-screen image relative to the size of its background image? Using KenBurns and Crop I can somewhat enlarge the green-screen image. But is there any way(s) to shrink it?

Insert green screen image

What is the best way to insert a green screen image into a normal jpeg image? Will iphoto do it or do I need another photo editing program. I believe i may be able to do it with imovie but don't want to make it overly complicated. I could use either my ipad with ios or older white macbook with OS X 10.7.5 (best it can do) to do this.

There are many, many other options. Search on MacUpdate or the App Store.
You can set Photoshop (or any image editor) as an external editor in iPhoto. (Preferences -> General -> Edit Photo: Choose from the Drop Down Menu.) This way, when you double click a pic to edit in iPhoto it will open automatically in Photoshop or your Image Editor, and when you save it it's sent back to iPhoto automatically. This is the only way that edits made in another application will be displayed in iPhoto.

So when I am using the Green Screen effect in iMovie The Picture going over the Green Screen is only partialy there.

Okay, the only thing that might be remotely related to this is there's a setting for Green Screen you could try. Depending on what footage is being placed over the background, you would need to record or put some footage at the end of the green screen clip so iMovie knows what color the background is. Then you would use the Subtract last frame feature.
1. Add the green-screen clip to your project
2. Double-click the clip to bring up the Clip Inspector
3. Go to Background settings and enable the Subtract Last frame optin and then click Done. iMovie uses the frame as a reference to remove more color.

[SOLVED] Image going over the size of my TV

I just upgraded my TV to a 47'' panasonic SmartTV from my old LV 32'' one.
I connect it via HDMI for video playback and xbmc use: The video card is a nVidia GT 240
The problem I'm facing is, at 1080p @ 60Hz, the image goes over the edges of the TV, like is bigger than the tv itself, so you lose some inches from each side.
At 720, the image looks to fit right but this is not the desired resolution.
I use nvidia-settings in order to tweak xorg.conf, but I had to add some options by hand for the fonts to have 96dpi.
Can anyone help me to find the solution for this?
I have a windows partition for gaming and when I booted it up for testing i faced the same issues.....

The problem is the TV itself. I have no idea why, but regular HD TVs usually cut a few pixels from each side, doing a slight zoom in. This is called overscan. You can usually disable this in the TV settings by setting the image size to "fullscreen" instead of 16/9.
Some quick Googling gave me this article, it seems pretty detailed (I'm learning myself right now why all TVs do this).

I would like to edit a still image so that I can float it over the video - How would I save the image in Photoshop so that just the image and not the background can be imported into Final Cut and the footage behind it still shows up?

You need to either create an Alpha channel or cut out the area of interest and paste it into a transparent Photoshop document. You can save the former as PSD, TIFF or PNG. Save the latter as TIFF with transparency enabled (shows up in TIFF Options at step 2 of the save dialog).

Why isn't my screen turning sideways on the iPhone 4s.

Why isn't my screen rotating horizontally? The portrait lock is not on and I have even turned it off and on. It still doesn't work. I have also turned my phone off and tried it. I know that the app supports it because it has since I have bought it. The apps that I have tried so far are gmail and apple's messaging, the one that comes with the phone.

Wonder if it is possible to place an image all over the button (as if it is "center" borderLayout).

Facetime will not use the cellular network (if using AT&T) for the iphone 4, 4S or 5 unless you have signed up for ATT's new data share plan. They stated this several weeks ago when there was talk about Iphone5/IOS 6 and Facetime. Your carrier is the one that decides if Facetime will work over the cellular network or not. You might want to contact them. Your other option is to continue using it via wi-fi.

hi, it seems like its a common but or some like that but yes, my iSight does have a green screen just after updating from mac os 10.4.6 to 10.4.7, weirdo thing is that when i boot to windows partition, iSight works well (poor image quality) but works....
is there a new driver for iSight? or is there a permanent fix on that green screen?
