Why is my history blank?

My history has stopped working, and no longer shows or keeps the sites I have seen in either the recent history or show all history and stays blank. The address bar is unaffected though. What is wrong and how do I fix it?

You might have a damaged Places.sqlite file which stores the bookmarks and history. Try [[Exporting bookmarks to an HTML file]] and then removing Places.sqlite from your profile folder.

Why is my history blank even though I have 'remember history' turned on in the privacy tab in the preferences. I use a mini mac, Mac OS X 10.6 and Firefox 6.0.2

Same problem here. I have Firefox on several machines and OS (XP and Ubuntu [edit: Win 7 too]). However, the bookmarks file is the same in each.
None of the location bars suggest (autocomplete) features work now. I tried deleting the places.sqlite (bookmarks) file and the bar began working again, but all my bookmarks had lost their "[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Favicon favicons]". When I replaced that places.sqlite file with my original (including the favicons) the location bar again ceased working.
I highly doubt that the upgrade to 3.6.11 would corrupt every places.sqlite file I have on multiple computers. That leads me to believe that there is some kind of bug in 3.6.11 that messes up the location bar (especially if your bookmarks contain favicons). Hope some kind of patch can be found.
Edit: Just updated Firefox on Windows 7 with same results. I even backed up the places.sqlite (so it could not be corrupted) file before updating then used the backup file when the location bar failed to work. Even restoring with the backup file didn't work - again, this can not be due to a corruption issue.
Finally, I noticed that one (only one) of the autocomplete bookmarks I had selected prior to updating FF in Ubuntu was actually retained. Is there some other file where autocomplete data is held? I wish I knew why that one bookmark is still able autocomplete while all the others will not (note: this is only in the Ubuntu install all other FF installs (in XP/Win7) bookmarks will not autocomplete.

Have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds, after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

HT1390 why is the screen blank when i play my rental

I had a terrible day and was looking forward to watching a film I had prepped and rented at noon. I just clicked play on the rental and the screen is a taupe color with black widescreen banners on the top and bottom. no matter where I click on the time bar below, this is the ONLY DISPLAY. WHAT THE ****. Why is it so hard to find an apple/itunes professional to talk to. If you can take my money, you can sure as **** deliver a non-buggy frigging product. I mean, AMIRITE?????

What film is it? Is it definitely the whole movie and not some weird arty couple of minutes of blank video?
If you give the name of the film you may find someone who has rneted/bought it and can say if they've had an issue too.
I would be tempted to restart AppleTV (either by unpowering or holding menu and down keys on remote together for 6 secs), but it may need to redownload/rebuffer if you don't have fast enough internet.
Also, have you used AppleTV successfully to rent in the past?

The dang system is not allowing me to clear history. Why? I am a solo operator - no one else uses it. How is it that it's diaabled???

Why there is a blank PERSNUMBER record in ADR6 For some ADDRNUMBER

I am fixing a bug and get the key point ,if i delete the select condition PERSNUMBER = SPACE, My problem will be solved ,

However, I am not very clear with ADR6.I konw that is the Email address table but I don't how's each record created and why there is a record with PERSNUMBER = SPACE usually but some ADDRNUMBER with no bland PERSNUMBER   record.
Would you pls tell me why and how it processed.

It goes like this :
At a particular location there maybe several people. For instance consider that
XYZ ltd. is you customer. Now in customer master, you will store one ADDRNUMBER against XYZ Ltd.
Now if you come to ADR6 and check out the entries for that address number you will get many entries. These are email addresses of different people in that compnay holding different posts.
Now what does a blank person number mean ?
It means that there is no person associated with that email adress. It's like say [email protected] . Thats just the customers general email address.

Why is my DVD blank?

My DVD (Photos burned from a PC) doesn't appear under Devices when I insert it. It appears as an Untitled DVD with the burn symbol beside it under places in the left-hand side menu of the finder window. I took it to my daughter's older Mac Pro and I could see the photos fine. I can see other DVDs, why not this one? Thank you.

I think that in older Imacs, the problem is inside the ketch files in the Apple restore hide partition in the last OsX systems. I did the downgrade in an 27 inches Imac from Mavericks to Lion. The computer drop out the original dvd's from the computer, and also most part of the blank dvd's.
Just what I did was deleting the hidden partition using the system utilities, and then restart from a USB with the Lion instaler, that works fine. Then I'd formated the hard disk and isntall again Lion. No more problemes with old dvd's, cd or blank new ones.
That means that do you need to do this for skip the problem? I don't think so. Just deleting the hidden partition need to let you charge your new dvd's.

implement them to provide definition for the methods
in it in their own way, why does it not allow the
same for it's fields?Which methods must be present is part of the contract--the behavior.
Fields are just an internal implementation detail. No class should ever be required to provide any field--and in fact Java (wisely) doesn't allow you to require a class to provide a field.
The static final fields that interfaces allow are different from implementation-specifc, instance-specific fields because they're associated with the type as a whole--not with any particular implementation of the type, and not with any instance--and because they're "constant" (i.e. final).
Again, it would make no sense to say, "All implementations must provide this field, with some value that they determine."
As detailed below, when class X and Y are allowed to
provide different implementations for "display()",
they are forced to use the variable iYou can't (and shouldn't try to) force implementations to use any particular variable.

Why I get a blank page?

I make a simple logon struts application.The index page is logon.jsp and it will go to secret.jsp if
the name and password is correct.But it will go to a blank page when user click the submit button unless

The problem solved!I change the "execute" method to "perform" method in my "LogonAction".It worked
as I expected.But I can't really know Why.I use struts1.0.Does struts1.1 has the "perform" method only?
I think "struts1.0" use the "execute" method in Action.:( Anyone can give me some idea?

Why does my history stores so little?

Firefox stores only 1-month old history. Why? Can i configure the time of storing? And Download History stores so little. (But i think it problem because Download StatusBar addition)

You may have cleanup software running on your computer if older history gets removed.<br />
With build-in Firefox means you can only remove recent history and not older history unless you do this manually in the History Manager (Library)

Firefox 4+ versions do not have a time limit for the history.<br />
Firefox determines automatically how many pages can be kept without affecting the performance.<br />
You can see the current value via the read-only pref places.history.expiration.transient_max_pages on the about:config page.<br />
