Why is my Homesite 5.5 quickbar not showing up?

I'm using windows 7 home premium and whenever I install HS5.5 the quickbar will not load, or only the right side tabs will show and the other icons on the left will be blank. Does anyone have a fix for this? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but that just brought the right side tabs back. The left side is still blank.

'OC Coug on a Mac ' - your feed references the podcast image correctly. It's become apparent from the number of similar posts that there is an ongoing problem with the Podcast Images. They were always slow to appear, but in some cases it's been weeks with no results.
There isn't really anything you can do yourself - your feed is fine (and 600x600 is the recommended size, though smaller would do - it's not the cause of the problem). I would recommend you and anyone else with this issue to contact iTunes Support. You won't get an immediate resolution, but if a lot of people complain it may kick-start them into doing something about it.
Go to http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/ - click on 'Other iTunes Store Features' in the list and then on 'Podcasts'. You will see a link to 'Express Lane', which will guide you eventually to some contact options.

If you open the Organizer and go to Edit>Preferences>Camera or Card Reader, do you have Auto Launch Adobe Photo Downloader on Device Connect checked?
Try checking that if you don't.

Sorry, don't know what you are asking. You have an old iPad Mini 3 and a new iPad Mini 3? How did you set up the new iPad? Did you restore it from a backup of the old iPad? What photos are you not seeing?

Are you saying that if you execute the same command in 11.1.0.6, you don't get a similar result? What happens? Do you get an error?
For both the 10.2 case and the 11.1.0.6 case, post the full output of the commands you're executing, and the result you are seeing.

Cloud programs do not use serial numbers... you log in to your paid Cloud account to download & install & activate... you MAY need to log out of the Cloud and restart your computer and log back in to the Cloud for things to work

Why do changes to a .pdf file not show up in iBooks?

I have a number of important and useful documents in .pdf format that are stored in iBooks on my iPad. I added a new document to the iTunes library and then synced the iPad. Voila! The new document showed up in the PDFs section of the iBooks collections. Then, I recognized that I needed to update some information in the document, so I opened the original (on my Mac) in Adobe Acrobat and added a few comments using the Typewriter tool. I then reimported it to the library in iTunes, then synced the iPad again. My added material was not in the document as it appeared in iBooks. OK, I deleted it from iTunes, synced the iPad again and the file was gone from iBooks, as I intended. I then reimported the new file with the added material into the iTunes library and synced again. The file still did not show my added material. I can look at the file in iTunes, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Reader, even Preview and the file looks fine. I even changed the file name. The only place it does not look right is in iBooks. I can print it in any of the aforementioned applications and it looks fine. I suppose I could print it, scan it and then import it to iTunes yet again, but that seems to be kind of a stupid workaround.
I have done everything I can possibly think of. I have deleted the file from iBooks on the iPad, then deleted the file from iTunes, restarted, burrowed into the iTunes Library file (Users->myname->Music->iTunes->iTunes Music->Books->filename) and deleted the file directly from there and then emptied the Trash, restarted the iPad after deleting the file from iBooks, tried adding the information as a text box in Acrobat (instead of using the Typewriter), I've shaken my fist repeatedly, burned some white sage, even considered throwing my iPad across the room.
In desperation, I finally printed and scanned the page I needed, then opened the original file in Acrobat, added the new page and deleted the old one. Then, I reimported the file into iTunes and synced the iPad. Now I have what I need with the same file name as before. It's actually the same file, just modified by swapping pages. But, why in the **** can I not just add what I want to that particular page using Acrobat and then reimport that?
I am not a newbie. I still have my old Mac Plus out in the garage. I use Acrobat, Photoshop, Bridge and InDesign on a regular basis, so I am no stranger to Adobe products. Am I missing something? Something unbelievably simple?

Even though I found a workaround, I'd still like to know why I couldn't do what I wanted to do.

Thanks, Demo, I'll give that a shot. On the other hand, I really don't want to have some files in iBooks and other ones in Adobe Reader. If Adobe Reader will let me organize them in folders, it might be a great solution.
However, there's no ".pdf management" involved here. It's simply "Read the #%€\#^% .pdf file I gave you" and there is nothing to "manage". Whatever opinions Apple has about Adobe, .pdf is a fact of life and should not require any handstands and backsprings just to read a file. (Are you listening, Apple?) I refinanced my home with .pdf files; print it, sign it, scan it, e-mail it back. (OK, calm down, it'll be all right... Sigh...)
Whatever the result, I'll report back.

I thought I already explained that. You call a subVI that never stops which updates its own hidden waveform graph forever. This subVI cannot produce any output to the main VI until it finishes. It never finishes!
Dataflow dictates that:
A node cannot execute until all inputs have received data.
A node cannot produce output until it finishes.
You have a few options, two are shown in the attached modification:
(1) get rid of the while loop in the subVI and place it in the main VI. Now the subVI gets called successively, always immediately returning a value. (This is the correct and recommended way).
(2) Feed a reference to the chart of the main VI to the subVI, then update the main graph via property writes. This is not very efficient but can be useful in a limited set of circumstances. The implementation is also currently incomplete, because the subVI cannot be stopped.
In any case, please put some small wait in each of your loops. Else they spin as fast as possible, consuming all CPU and making your computer sluggish.

Well, after posting that, I decided to try deleting another app that was on the list and then Dropbox suddenly reappeared. I've seen others say that Open In is limited to 10 apps (which seems lame to me).
The strange thing is on my iPad, I only have 9 apps listed, but my iPhone allows 10. Anyone know why this would be or have a similar issue? Is there a way to make certain apps default to the Open In... list?

If you haven’t enabled automatic downloads, it won’t show up there unless manually put on it, which can be done by transferring it from the iPad or redownloading it from the iTunes Store.
