Why is my iCloud address book different from my iMac address book? How can I make everything the same?
How is it different, does it contain duplicates, is it not syncing, please provide more information.

The Apple ID that appears in my iCloud account is different from the one I use every time I' m requested by Apple. I forgot the password for the iCloud id. I need to know how to change the iCloud id and make them both the same.

In the info bar at the bottom of the iphoto screen, why is the number of items different from the total?
What version of iPhoto and system are you running? What mode are you in, i.e. Events, Photos?
If it's the Photos mode the number at the bottom will represent the number of photos displayed in that mode or the number of photos selected in that mode. The number will match the number next to the photos mode only when there are no photos in that mode that are selected.
If you click on the Events icon and then back on the photos icon the numbers should match.

Why has my iCloud calendar deleted everything from 31st august back to beginning of the year but everything from 1st September is still there! All the information was there this morning and now it's all gone!!
Welcome to the Apple Community.
Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars, scroll down to the Calendars section and change the sync option to something other than 'Events 1 month back'. -

Why hasn't iCloud sent my photos from my iPhone to my iPad ?
just came home from a trip that i used my iphone 4s to take pictures. when i came home, the photos hadn't gotten onto my ipad. I had photo stream turned off in iCloud so I turned it on. I have connected both iPad and iPhone are connected to wifi. I had turned several things off on my iPhone during this trip because it was an international trip and I didn't want to get any extra charges. I'm not sure what I turned off because I'm not too swift with electronics. I think everything is back to where it should be now but not positive. Why hasn't iCloud sent my photos from my iPhone to my iPad ?
Photo Stream only syncs photos that are taken after Photo Stream is enabled. If it was off during your trip, those photos will not be in Photo Stream.

ICloud Match not streaming from my iMac
Perhaps I am missing something obvious, but my matched Itunes songs won't stream from my Imac. I can only play songs if I download them. I am able to download the songs, then play them, but I thought streaming was possible from desktops (i.e. non ios devices). My MBP streams plays/streams my non-downloaded Itunes match songs without a problem. I tried turning match on and off, checked there are no parental controls etc. Thanks for any help out there.

How to locate icloud id if different from apple id?
my apple id is current but i apparently have a different icloud password. can't remember it. anyway to access it? it states at sign in that my apple id and password are correct. its just not my icloud password

@gmail.com has only free apps in it & it has an @me.com id linked with it
Today i learned that seperate mail ID can be used for [store] & [iCloud, Game centre, iMessage].
So am gonna Use my hotmail ID for Store alone & gmail id for other services
I found The reason why i got sign in request from my Gmail id while updating apps, its cz my iPad also has some apps purchased with gmail ID.

An totaly different doubt but not importanat to current context now. I created 2 me.com ID for personal & professional now i have an an mail id [email protected] ID also in my iPad wch has same [email protected] as Apple ID. dunno how it happened. it doesn't have any @gmail.com or @hotmail.com like services linked to it !! (created mail id's when icloud was released so i forgot how it happened)
[email protected] is linked with apple id [email protected], can i change primary address for apple ID [email protected] (which i use for purchasing apps) to [email protected]
Does signing into app store using [email protected] is same as signing in with [email protected] (both are linked as in abv post) -
My @icloud email IS different from my @me. Forgot password.
I know the password for my Apple ID and it's corresponding @icloud.com email.
Previous to all the cloud stuff, I had a @mac.com email. This was converted over
to a @me.com.
Right now, I get different emails to each account. They are not one and the same.
I have forgotten the password to the @me.com account to the extent that I cannot
reinstall on new machines. However, it still works on previously set up machines.
It is not evident in Keychain.
How do I reset the @me.com password? Or am I ultimately going to lose it? Have
too many things associated with it to want to see that happen.

AndyIf you had an @mac address and migrated to iCloud back then you should now have 3 email addresses [email protected], me.com and icloud.com. They should be identical other than domain name. (If your first Apple address was @me.com you would have 2 addresses and so on.)
You can check by going to the iCloud website, opening Mail Settings and seeing what active addresses you have (and choosing which is the default to send from or deactivate) -
ICloud on phone different from Mac

I am not sure how I did this, but my I Cloud on my phone is for one email address and the I Cloud on my mac (which is the one I use) is for a different one. I can't delete the account for my phone until I enter in the password (it's an old apple ID from 4 years ago) and I can't renew the password since every time I try to, Apple reverts back to my other Apple ID email. Suggestions?

Why can the explain plan be different from 2 exact set of structures
hi,
i have from a view some base tables let's say A , B, C & D
this query is running very slow . so from the same database , i created tables A1 , B1, C1,& D1 from the above tables.
i created some new indexes on A1 to D1 tables and the results returned to me is fast.
i did an exlain plan
so i drop the indexes on the original A to D table and created the new indexes as per A1 to D1 and analyzed them. and i also did an explain plan
but the query is still running slow and also the explain plan is different to the one from A1 to D1 (the one that running fast)
pls help me to understand how/why can this happen ?
