Why is my iPad 2 cropped photo fuzzy?

I used to be able to crop pictures with no problem.  Got an os update last night.  Now when I edit & crop a photo, it becomes pixelated & fuzzy when I hit save.  What's the deal?

Got the answer from Apple Support.  Cropped photo is fuzzy because the photo came from the internet instead of my Ipad 2 camera.  This had nothing to do with the update.  I had cropped camera pictures earlier and then tried internet pictures and got the fuzz.  Problem solved!

  • Why can't I crop photos, when editing?

I use PE 7.0.  Recently I am unable to crop photos when editing.   The photo  disappears, and I get a screen that asks me to reset.  When I do that, I have lost all the other things I did in editing.   It is getting frustrating!

    Try resetting Editor Preferences
    1. Close Elements.
    2. Launch the Photoshop Elements Welcome Screen and hold down ctrl + alt + shift as you click Editor.
    3. Continue to hold the keys until you see a message box asking if you want to delete Photoshop Elements settings file; click Yes. Elements will open with default preferences.
Do reply back if you still face the issue.

  • Why is my iPad missing photos?

I've got an original 16GB Wifi iPad and use it for internet access/emailing and storing my 19,000 photos that I've divided into 100+ folders labelled alphabetically; Andrew's party, Bryan's house, CHristmas 2010 etc etc. Up until recently all has been OK, but recently after syncing, a lot of the folders are missing; approximately a third. They show the folders with the titles I've given them, but the ones in question are black and when I click on them, they say 'There are no photos in this folder'. I've checked in iPhoto on my iMac for the missing folders on my iPad and they're stil in iPhoto. I then decided to delete all the photos on my iPad and resync them back. I did this and it now only syncs 723 back to the iPad!
I've recently been syncing via Wifi after the upgrade, so has this got anything to do with it? I've tried doing the sync via cable as I always used to, but that doesn't make any difference.
    Can anyone help?
    Thanks,
    Simon.

This could well be a problem due to the volume of photos you are syncing. There is another lengthy thread started within the last 10 days where another poster is having the same problem. It might be worth reading. Do a search for it as I may not have the time just now.

  • HT4108 Why does an iPad (1st gen) and the Photos app using VGA adapter

Why does an iPad (1st gen) using iOS 5.1 and the Photos app not send a single photo to a projector while a slideshow is sent photo by photo?

I am not 100% sure, but i believe the iPad only does mirroring when connecting with AppleTV. AV cables will output audio and video out the bottom of the iPad (30-pin connector) to a TV/monitor, but the iPad screen itself will only show video controls (play/pause, FF, RW, Done, Progression bar).  If your cables say otherwise I am interested to know what brand they are and where you got them. If you are not getting any video at all the cables are probably not Apple approved and dont have the special chip in the 30-pin connector that allows for video transition.

Try resetting it.  Hold the on/off and home buttons together for about 10 seconds till the Apple logo appears.

  • Why are my ipad photos blurry

Why are my ipad photos blurry

They were probably taken in low light, the brighter the lighting the better the photo. Lower light levels require the shutter to be open longer which require the camera to be held steady for a longer period of time. If you move the photo is blurred. So you will have to be more steady when taking the photo indoors or you will get blurring.
The same is true for all cameras and why they have a flash. More expensive cameras with better lenses and larger sensors will work better in lower light, but still can require a tripod to minimize any movement which can cause blurring.

  • Why is my cropped photo out of focus

I started with a large jpg, 4.6 M. Fully enlarged in the iPhoto window the photo was in sharp focus. I cropped just the face, but the resulting photo was out of focus. I can't figure out why.

What is the pixel size of teh cropped photo? No matter how large the original photo is if you crop too small you will end up with pixelization (not a focus issue)
And it is possible that the are you are corpping to is not really in good focus and that becoms more pronounced as it becomes the only remainin gportion of the photo

You can't via Safari, but you should be able to if you use, for example, the 'official' Facebook app.

  • Hi All , Pls Help ! Why icloud can't upload photo to iPad on Win 7 64bit ?

Hi All , Pls Help ! Why icloud can't upload photo to iPad on Win 7 64bit ?

This computer has two different versions of Flash Player for Internet Explorer and two different versions of Flash Player for other browsers.
    A clean install is recommended:
    Windows
Download the current 32 bit uninstaller    Uninstaller for 32 bit Operating Systems
Close all browser windows and run the uninstaller
    Restart Windows
Delete all remaining files and folders located in the following directories. (tip: copy and paste these paths into the path bar in an Explorer window)
    C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flas
    %appdata%\Adobe\Flash Player
    %appdata%\Macromedia\Flash Player
Verify that the file “FlashPlayerCPLApp.cpl” in C:\Window\system32\ for 32 bit systems has been deleted.
    Download the following installer files:
32 bit Flash Player for ActiveX (Internet Explorer)
32 bit Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)
Physically disconnect from the Internet and run the installers.

  • Why does my iPad settings, about show I have photos when my photo app says I have none?

Why does my iPad settings, about show I have photos when my photo app says I have none?

After the most recent iOS update there is a problem with phantom photos.
Perhaps you have phantom photos, that are invisible in the Recently Deleted album and thus cannot be deleted. Then resetting the date will help.  Changing the date makes the invisible photos in "Recently deleted" visible again:

Re: More photos in settings than photos app showsin response to morganfaith6 | This helped me
I managed to get rid of the phantom usage. Restoring iPhone and resetting the phone settings/data do not work for me.
I had to move the Date on my phone earlier by 1,2,3 months and found the phantom photos in the Recently Deleted Folder. Next, I deleted the photos manually from the Recently Deleted Folder and the usage got freed up from my iPhone.

  • Why on new ipad front camera are so fuzzy almost in any light and condition ?

why on new ipad front camera are so fuzzy almost in any light and condition ?

The front camera on the new iPad has a resolution of 640 x 480 = 0.3 megapixels
That is almost 17 times less resolution than its rear camera!

  • Why can't I scale/ crop photos in instagram?

In Instagram, I don't have the option to scale or crop photos/ the function doesn't work. At the top of the screen, the only menu item is "next" when I'm in the scale and crop function. There is no "crop" button as Instagram help indicates there should be.
Also, I can zoom the photo way out when trying to scale, but can't get it to stay when I pinch and drag it smaller.
Tried reinstalling the app which didn't work.
Is anyone else have this problem?

Not related to apple or IOS update.
double check the app store to see if there is an IG update.

  • Why can't I take cropped photo normal photo I can take out.

So once I look at my photos that I cropped in my iphone they are back to it original size photo once I take them out of my iphone. How can I make the cropped photo stay cropped and not resize to original once I put in my computer?

Imovie lets me drag and drop into a project window from the desktop. I use .jpg files. Are your photos .jpg or some other format? Below is Apple's video on importing photos from iphoto. I suspect if a photo will go into iphoto it will go into iMovie. If you cannot drag from the desktop, try putting it into iphoto and importing it that way.
