Why is my iPad suddenly unable to connect to wifi?
Okay, so my iPad was working perfectly, wifi was on, and is still on. It suddenly said there is no connection and I went into settings and it had disconnected our iPad from the wifi network. This has never happened before. I've tried a reset of all settings, and it wouldn't re connect when I reentered the correct password. Im unsure of what to do now. I'm really worried. Please help me :'( xx
Do a reset holding the home / power screen. Let it boot up and try again. Every now and then, mine just drops also. Don't know why. Maybe a hiccup with the router is my guess. Once in a blue moon, it even required me to put in a password but that has only happened once. What router are you using?

my ipad is unable to connect to wifi but I know the password is correct. I have tried restarting my ipad and network. I have reset network settings in ipad. I have ipad 2 and no problems.Iphone4 isnt working either.

hmm, well I would say that raises the possibility of an issue with your ipad, and lessens one with your router.
What version iOS are you using? Update

Suddenly my ipad is unable to connect to our wifi. It buffers all the time?
All other devices are working normally. Is this a fault wityh my ipad or have I inadvertantly altered some setting?Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
• Launch Settings app

• In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Does it happen anywhere that you use FaceTime or only in your home WiFi network? If it happens with your home network, have you tried power cycling your router? Unplug it for about 30 seconds and then plug it back in.
Turn WiFi off and on in the settings. Reset the network settings.
Have you tried any troubleshooting steps at all? -

Go into the itunes app. Go to featured. Scroll all the way down to the bottom. Log out. Then login with your id. Chances are he used your ipad for something and logge into his own account.

Check to make sure you don't have your restrictions turned on, which may be preventing your access to iTunes.
Tap on the settings icon, then tap General, then check to see if you have restrictions turned to ON. If so turn it off. -

Ran into a problem connecting to my verizon mifi wifi aboard my boat. Contaced verizon no problem on there end. My wifes windows machine connected just fine. My iphone and macbook pro could not connect, the connection message was "connection time out". When I got home to my home on land my iphone and macbook connected just fine. Anyone have an idea why this would be happening? Thanks for your help.

iPhone 5 unable to connect to WiFi - signal good, iPad connects fine but iPhone comes up with error message "Unable to join the network". I've tried reboot. Any ideas?
ThanksI called Apple and explained the problem. After I explained the wifi connection problems, they said it was a hardware issue and sent me to my local Apple store and exchanged mine for a new iPhone. I backed it up prior to getting the new phone and it was easily restored.
