I had same issue. My phone will not ring or get text sounds when locked. This morning my alarm did not make a sound neither. Thanks to my dog who woke me up. My "do not disturb" was on. It's the moon on your quick menu. I wish the phone will let you know the "do not disturb" is on when you hit the home button to use the phone. I was not aware of this feature on my quick menu.

Just have to give it some time. The activation and verification servers are all slammed right now 'cause of all the people trying to update at the same time. Give it a couple hours (or overnight if you can wait) and it should sort itself out.

Did you always have the same problem or is it new? I always used to be able to get Facebook to work on wifi with no issues for months. I downloaded the new software update for Revolution, and all of a sudden it seems like they blocked the Facebook app somehow unless you're on 4G. It really sux because I can't get into my Zynga games either that are tied to FB! Wish someone at Verizon could be aware of this and fix the problem.
Also, interestingly, when I try to log into the Facebook site with the browser I am directed to an error page. The browser works fine for every other site though. Really seems like there was some kind of block instated that will no longer let you use Facebook on a wifi connection.

I have been unable to find any app that works with Numbers on IOS7. I can still read them on IOS 6.1.3 with an iTouch.

AApple takes no responsibility for their updates causing harm to devices. See section 7.4 through 7.6
i see a lot of denial on this site when it comes to viruses, the same applies to apple updates messing up folks devices. Take it back to an apple store and it is likely the best you can hope for is a discount on a new ipad. Good luck. Hopefully someone here can help you with a fix.

Why do my iphone not work after trying to syncronise

I really hope that someone in this space can help me.
This morning I tried to load my Iphone battery.
I also updated my phone.
Then My computer asked me if I would syncronise with my PC,
unfortunately I said yes and afterwords I got this message that If I did that
I would loose all my data from my Iphone 4.
I the stopped this syncronising and now I simply cannot open my phone, that is
I cannot conect to Itunes on my phone.
Do I really have to upload all my data again. Does this problem come due to that i did not register my phone
on itunes.
Do ýou think you can help me with this issue?

If you are having issues such as you describe with your iPhone you may want to try some of the basic troubleshooting steps to start off with. Reset your iPhone -
Turn your iOS device off and on (restart) and reset

When all else fails you may want to back up your iPhone and restore it to factory condition -

No offence, but as with quite a few others, my Iphone stopped charging on mains after iOS 7.0.4 update too.
Not sure you can categorically advise that "it simply is not a software issue" when so many different people are having the same symptoms after updating their iOS Just have a quick Google!
Luckily my (original Apple) cable will still allow recharging via USB to a laptop. So, process of elimination would point to a bricked charger that was working faultlessly up until the iOS 7.0.4 update was applied. Seems quite a stretch to be a coincidence.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
I know it must be frustrating when you iPhone will not ring when you have an incoming call. The first thing I would suggest as far as troubleshooting would be to check the ring/vibrate switch on the side of your iPhone, just above the volume buttons, to make sure the ringer isn’t silenced. If the ringer is not silenced, continue to read over the information in the attached article to troubleshoot your iPhone sound.

My itunes store will not open after IOS7 update on my 4s?

I updated my phone to IOS7 and my itunes store initially worked after this update. However it has now stopped working and it opens then turns to a white screen and closes its self within seconds. Is there anyway of fixing this without resetting my whole phone? help please

Same problem on my intel MacBookPro. Happened to me after doing the ilife08 upgrade a few minutes ago. Downloaded from apple again and did the upgrade option. That seems to have done the trick.

After i updated to ios7 on my 4s the right speaker stopped working instantly. Anyone else have thuis problem? And how can it be fixed?

Perform a "hard reset" on the device by pressing down and holding the home button and the sleep/wake button for up to 30secs. until you see a black screen with the Apple logo, then release.
Then test to see if it solved the problem.

Apple's activation servers are probably very busy. Calling AppleCare will not really help as the servers are what allow that to happen. You may want to wait for a little while before trying again.

I regret that there are problems with your iPhone 4 since iOS 7. I'm sure you may have already tried to power it off/on, but I also want you to check some additional settings. What happens when you try to dial *228? Do you get an error message/recording?
Ensure airplane mode is disabled and then go to
Settings>Cellualar>Roaming>Voice and Data Roaming> Enable.

Photo stream not working after ios7 update

after updating to ios7 new photos taken with my iPhone 4S are not streaming automatically. my photo stream is activated in settings on all devices.

yes, i know it sometimes takes awhile to sync, but the 6 photos i took last night in the club, where there was no wifi, have not shown up in my photo stream. usually, they will sync once i have returned to a wifi network.
fortunately, i could share them in a new stream which i could then fetch on my home computers.
however, i have taken new photos today and it has worked seamlessly. so, i consider the problem resolved even though it is still a mystery for the 6 photos i took last night.
i generally enjoy the my photo stream service, although i am never sure where to erase photos. i have determined that once they are on all devices, you must erase the photos on all devices individually.
i use this server frequently as i take pictures all day and edit them when i get home. it is good to have the photos on the server and not have to physically download them to the machine on which i do my sorting and editing.
now, if only it would work with adobe lightroom, it would be perfect.
