Wi-Fi disconnects, or signal strength is less than expected
Move closer to the Wi-Fi router (access point).
Check for sources of potential interference.
Remove any case, stand, or other accessories from your iOS device and see if signal strength improves.
Reset network settings by tapping Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
Note: This will reset all network settings including: previously connected Wi-Fi networks and passwords, recently used Bluetooth accessories, VPN and APN settings.

Why does my iPhone 6 occasionally refuse to tether with my Macbook Air

Most days, my iPhone 6 tethers up with my Macbook Air just fine, and I use the personal hotspot successfully. But about once a week, the Air gives an error message that it cannot see the phone, and the phone makes a rapid series of alarm sounds. The blue hotspot bar at the top of the phone appears quickly as if it were to connect, then it doesn't. The phone shows the error message about whether to trust the Air. Restarts of both devices does not help. The only thing that helps is to keep the two connected, ignore the warning tones, and eventually the hotspot works. Weird
This is one of those problems that occurs intermittently - very frustrating because this kind of problem resists my ability to diagnose what is happening

An iPhone will not pair via Bluetooth to a computer (Mac or Windows) except for personal hotspot and then only if your cellular plan supports it. https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-7722
If you are attempting to use Handoff/Continuity, that does involve Bluetooth but the devices are NOT paired; Bluetooth just needs to be on and the devices in range of each other. The following may help with Handoff/Continuity issues: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS5458

You exceed that range & you'll get that warning...you do nothing, & your phone will shut down to prevent damage. Easy to exceed that range while your phone is navigating & exposed to sun or another heat source.

TS1398 My iPhone's wifi connection is slow compared to my other devices at home.

My iPhone's wifi connection is slow compared to my other devices in my house. I'm ranging from 2-3.5 Mbps on the iPhone while my other devices are getting speeds of 35-40 Mbps. I'm right next to my AirPort Extreme ac. I've tried resetting every possible device. I've done a reset of my phone ( no data lost). Any suggestions?

Remove all power from the router for about 15 seconds. If that doesn't fix it check if you have MAC filtering enabled on the router. If you do the iPhone needs to be added to the Allowed list.

I noticed while in my local Apple store today that their iPhone 4's have a higher Model # in their Settings --> About screen. When I compare mine vs. theirs, why is my Model # lower?
My biggest fear is that Apple will secretly correct the hardware issues on the iPhone 4 & screw over everyone who bought it early by not doing a recall since it would cost them an arm & a leg.

They are basically batch numbers as posted by several forums other than Apple. One forum in Canada listed 8 batch numbers of iPhones residing in their country with the last code of "C/A". Mine is "LL" for some reason in the USA. I would have thought it would be "US" but there is probably a more detailed thread on this code choice by Apple.

Connect your devices to the computer with the USB cable (one device at a time) and import the photos via iPhoto or Image Capture.
If you have not changed any default settings on your computer, iPhoto will automatically launch when you plug in the device. Then follow the import prompts.

If you're in a country where there's an apple shop (unfortunately not mine), go check it and ask the employee about it: he's gonna check your Iphone on a "device"
I've got an iphone 5 and it's working very well with me but I have to admit that its battery lasts (slower) than my Ipad 2.
Still i can help with some tips that may improve your iohone's battery by an hour in addition (hopefully):
- close all apps by multitasking....
- do NOT keep the brightness to the max
Believe me you're gonna regret changing your phone to a samsung
