Why is my iPhone 5s stuck after icloud restore

Hey I got my new iPhone 5s. This is my second one tho, but after I pressed to restore my setting from icloud to this new phone its started. I got an apple logo with a bar which won't go further and stays arount 5%. I've tried to press the sleep and home button at the same time but once I start it again it just stops again at the same place. Someone who knows how to fix this?

I suggest that you put your phone into recovery mode. Here's an Apple support page that explains this process. It needs to be followed step by step very carefully. Even then it may take several tries before the device enters Recovery Mode.

  • Email in my iphone not working after icloud

hi, woke up this morning and realized I wasn't getting incoming emails in my laptop. When I log into icloud, mail is all there. So I was able to manually change my preferences (not exactly sure what I did - but email is wokring on my laptop now).  But for my iphone, not so much. I tried to go into Settings for Mail and then got a bit stuck after that.  Do I add Server name and if so, what do I enter in there?  I tried to enter in smtp.mail.me.com but it failed.  Can someone give me some step by step instructions for an iphone dummy like me?  (my iphone is a 3G so not so new....)  Is that the issue?

Back to the main point now,my iphone was stuck for 15-20 minutes or so in the screen with the apple and the loading bar and it was hot, then i realized that something was going wrong and pressed sleep and home button together so i can put it in recovery mode, then i injected to my pc and started recovery ,itunes after downloading a percentage of the update stopped working and iphone's screen got to the first phase before the recovery(that one with the apple and loading bar)
If you can please help me ,thanks

Mhhh ok yeah..Next time i decide to buy a 850$ mobile phone from apple i ll have this in mind
Next time you won't be so stupid as to intentionally damage the software and potentially the hardware of your $850 purchase, regardless of whose product you purchased. Maybe. But stupidity is rarely cured. Unauthorized modification of iPhone OS has been a major source of instability, disruption of services, and other issues
You seem to have proved the case described in the above Apple tech support document.

  • Iphone 4s stuck after recovery mode

So, my iphone was giving me a hard time, it wasn't receiving any calls since yesterday, and i found out today. It also hasn't been receiving any texts since yesterday. So, we kept trying and eventually got calls to work but no texts. So I tried to restore my iphone, well mid way through restore I got an error. AFTER it formatted everything. And I clicked ok, and my iphone is stuck in the screen where it says to connect the phone to itunes. But, when i plug it into my computer, my computer detects a USB was plugged in, but when i go to my computer it usually shows in removable storage "LT's Iphone". It doesn't show it there. Also itunes doesn't.
I tried everything I could find on the internet about fixing it, but nothing helped. I tried restarting it (brought me back to the same screen). I can't seem to get out of this screen. I've tried everything I can, and nothing works. I tried reinstalling itunes.
If anyone could help, PLEASE, I really hate being without my phone xD, so much appreciated. And if possible, i REALLY don't want to go to the genious bar, so if i can i want to fix it from home since my screen is pretty cracked and destroyed and they will just make me pay to replace it
10,000 texts a month user in distress!!

I was finally able to restore my phone and apply the backup, but my 4S is now basically an iTouch.  I have no cellular network service and Verizon can't get it restored.
And since I'm on an enterprise plan, I have to wait until next week to get anything done with the phone.
I thought I was safe updating my iPhone...
But as the old adage goes... "Just say no to version  .0"

  • Please help, my iPhone is stuck after trying to upgrade to 2.1

I connected to iTunes and it was updating my iPhone 3G to the newest firmware. Then there was an "Unknown Error" and my iPhone is stuck on the black screen with the silver apple logo with the spinning circle at the bottom loading something. I restarted iTunes, my computer, disconnected from USB port and it is still stuck. iTunes doesn't even recognize my phone being plugged in, I can't access it at all or do anything with it... Help!

I read everydaytech's post and found the answer through another user. Thanks for your time.

  • Missing password message yahoo mail and Iphone after Icloud restore

I have deleted my yahoo account from the phone and rebooted and added account back and I am still having this issue. It started when I was switching from on Iphone to another and then restored from Icloud. Everything was working fine prior to this on the old phone.

If this is your iCloud email account, go to Settings>iCloud, turn Mail off, then turn it on again.
If it's a different email account, delete the account and recreate it again.

  • Iphone 4 stuck after ios 6 update

I did the update and now I have the plug in to itunes logo on the screen.  when I do this it tells me myphone is in recovery mode and to reset.  I've tried resetting using the home button and sleep/wake button for 10 seconds and all i get is the apple logo followed by the same plug into itunes screen of death.  how do I reset my phone?

It was new.  Interestingly I have just discovered something...
After the restore from recovery, it comes up with this message:
Once this disappears, the message that the phone is in recovery mode appears immediately.  However if I disconnect the phone while the above message is still showing (even though it says not to) everything is fine.  I can then restore from backup, but once again this message appears and the same thing happens... if I leave the phone plugged in, I get a message saying the phone is in recovery mode but if I quickly unplug it, all is fine and restored from backup!
I now have a working phone with all my old data but I'm scared to ever plug it in to iTunes again in case it goes back into recovery mode.  And ideas??

  • Syncing with iTunes after iCloud Restore Syncs Unwanted Apps

After I had restored my iPhones using a recent iCloud backup, some of my content such as certain videos and music needed to be installed through syncing with iTunes. All of my apps were arranged and installed as they were before the resoration. I had iTunes set to not automatically begin to sync when I plug in any of my iOS devices, so I can review the device first and then begin the sync. Upon plugging in my iPhone, I checked the applications tab, and all of the apps were arranged the way they were when I would unlock my iPhone; everything seemed normal. It would appear that the content that had not been restored through the iCloud restore would simply be installed though syncing with iTunes. The second I hit sync, iTunes began to restore my iPhone with a very early sync, as many of the apps I had deleted some time ago were being installed onto my phone, and my of the applications added since that specific sync were removed. What can I do to just have iTunes act as it should when finishing the restoration on my phone and not default to a stubborn sync? I'm currently restoring my phone from another recent iCloud backup to have all of my apps and their settings restored to how they were less than 12 hours ago.

First make sure you have the most recent version of iTunes. Use the itunes menu to check for updates and install the latest version if needed.
Reboot your computer and rest your iphone. Press and hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Then release the buttons and let the device restart. No data will be lost doing this. It's like rebooting a computer.
