Why is my iPod stuck on the "Connect to iTunes" page?
Okay this is what happened. I got onto itunes with my ipod touch, and it said that I had an update available for my ipod. I clicked install then update, but then windows pops ups and says woah we have not tested this installment. It may do permanent damage to your device. We reccomend that you stop installation. So, I stop installation. Then, my iPod goes to a black page that has a USB cord pointing up at the itunes symbol. I can not navigate away from this page. Niether my computer nor iTunes recognizes my iPod when I try to plug it in. I've tried to do recovery mode or restore mode or whatever it is, but even then my iPod is still not recognized. Please help!!

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I tried updating my iPod to iOS 6 just after it came out, but my iPod never made it through the process. Just after backing up and restoring, I got an error message saying my computer could not connect to the iPod anymore, and it hasn't connected since. I'm still stuck at the "connect to iTunes" page, and I've tried reinstalling iTunes, and I've gone through all of the support pages on the apple website. I'm running windows 7 64 bit, and I was on iOS 5.1.1.
Try:

I just installed the latest version of iTunes and tried to update my iPhone 4. When I go in to set it up with the new update it is getting stuck on the "Connect to iTunes page". I have connected to iTunes several times, and iTunes is saying sync'd, but the phone isn't doing anything. What should I do?

when i try to reset my ipod it stops at 10minutes and the ipod turns itself on and acts like ive done nothing to it, it has been stuck on the "connect to itunes screen" and it wont reset. why?

You have to then connect the iPod to your computer and restore via iTunes. Are you doing that? -

i got an ipod from a friend and i tryed to start it up and it is stuck on the connect to itunes screen, it wont even pop up on itunes it says i have to put in my password to continue but i cant because it is stuck please help me!!!!!!!

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

ipod touch 4g wont connect to itunes or come out of recovery mode, its just stuck on the connect to itunes screen and will not come out, i tried doing a restore but something happened and now it wont finish or do anything else please help and my itunes will not see that its connected. i also tried going though control panel and restarting the service and nothing happens. also i tried redoing the driver but its saying it cannot find any drivers for it

i got my ipod touch 4th generation and when i first connected it to itunes it would say device found on my computer but on itunes it would say no device found so im stuck with the connect to itunes symbol on my ipod touch like when u first turn it on

First my ipod didnt show it was charging but still turned on(it was dead) so i tried the hold sleep and wake button but my computer(windows 7) wont recognize it so its stuck on the connect to itunes screen.
PS i took it to get it fixed and they said they changed the battery not sure if that had anything to do with it????
