Why is my iPod touch Gen 5 still associated with my older Apple ID not my more recent one?
This morning I ran across another problem. I still can't access my older [email protected] Apple ID account.
I created a new Apple ID account but for some reason my iPod touch asked for the older Apple ID. I was trying to update Facebook, but I forgot my older password.
I clicked on iForgot for [email protected] but the verification email was never sent.
I clicked on the Next button many times but still no email.
Can you please help me reset the old password to a new password of my choice?
Finally how can I associate my iPod touch to my new Apple ID?
This is frustrating me so much.

- Apps are locked to the account that purchased them.
- To update apps you have to sign into the account that purchased the apps. If you have apps that need updating purchased from more than one account you have to update them one at a time until the remaining apps were purchased from one

Why is my iPod Touch Gen 5 losing sync in my car after iOS 7 update?
I have been running my iPod Touch 5 in my 2010 Chrysler 300C successfully under iOS 6, via the 30-pin to lightning connector. Everything worked fine - I could leave the iPod locked in the glove compartment, and whe I returned several hours later, the iPod would fire up without a glitch where I left it. Ever since I upgraded to iOS 7, however, the iPod somehow forgets that it is connected to the car, and starts playing through its own little speaker, not through the connector, when I start the car after several hours away. If I leave the car for just a few minutes - maybe a much as 30 minutes - the iPod works fine, and sound comes through the car audio system. I am frustrated with this "bug" so much that I have even been on Craigslist trying to swap my iPod Touch 5 64GB for an iPod 4 Touch 64GB with iOS 6, but so far no takers - that's how much I want the old features!
Is this connector thing a bug, is it going to be addressed in a future iOS update?Have you contacted Chrysler? Maybe they can help or there is a firmware update for the car system.

SOmetimes an iOS update breaks compatibility. In that case you have to wait for an iOS update or car firmware update -

I bought an 8 gig, 2G Ipod Touch a little under a year ago off of ebay (to save costs, as I was buying one for my girlfriend as well). Both were seemingly brand new, the first one I received was sealed from the factory. I set that one aside for my girlfriend. The second one I received was open but in good condition.
It had clearly been preowned, but as I said it was in good condition apart from some ware on the usb cord.
Anyway, fast forward a few months. I am on vacation and my Ipod touch suddenly wont charge. I plug it in, nothing. So I go to radio shack and get one of those go chargers with an ipod touch connector (which are total pieces of crap by the way) and that wouldn't charge it either. So after the vacation we get home and I decide to try my girlfriend's usb cord out, and that doesn't do anything either. So I jiggled it around and it would connect then immediately disconnect, or it would connect but it wouldn't charge, only showing the little plug symbol where the lightning bolt would be.
So I decided to try my cord again. Same stuff, jiggling makes it work, but it instantly disconnects or goes into that plug mode or what ever (like it's finished charging). It eventually died and I forgot about it and went on happily using my old Ipod Nano Gen 3. Now, months later I am in need of my Ipod touch (I left my nano at my girlfriend's house), so I dig it out, and the usb cord and plug it into my Mac and it's the same stuff pretty much, but I can old charge it if I push the cord's jack up in the Ipod touch's port. I've been wrapping the cord around it longways really tight to try and get it to charge, which is putting more ware on the cord. But it's the only way I can get it to sync or charge...Not only this but the cord doesn't even snap it like other ipod (which is really dumb design in my opinion) so it falls out if I lay it down without wrapping it.
*So, my Ipod Touch's connection port is loose.* The warranty is long gone. Fixing the port via apple will cost $133 dollars that I don't have to spend on it (Im in college).
I've searched high and low on the internet and found but two other person that had this issue, each not getting much feedback.
What are my options? Is there an easy fix? What should I do?

- Try cleaning out/blowing out the headphone jack. Try inserting/removing the plug a dozen times or so.
Try the following to rule out a software problem
- Reset the iPod. Nothing will be lost

- Reset all settings

- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store. Seems you have a bad headphone jack.

Why has my iPod Touch 4 Quit sync with Outlook Calendar?
My iPod Touch 4 is merely 93 days old. Suddenly on the day my 90 day support expired, I noticed that it was no longer syncing my Calenar with Outlook on my PC yet the Contacts seem to sync Ok. Any ideas what might be causing this development? Nothing was changed in the settings.

why does my ipod touch 4th gen can't detect my location? i thought it was because updating foursquare. i have erased and restored its settings, but i was able to use my foursquare before even after the restoration, but now it's not working even my location services is on. Though, it can detect location in other areas, but it cant detect my location at home when before it used to check-in using foursquare.

No, the iPhone can determine location by GPS and cell tower locations neither of which the iPod can do. So the fact that it works on the iPhoe does not tell you anything. It could be that your router is not in Apple's database. In that case you will just have to wait until they add it. Try using a public wi-fi source to see if location works there. -
