Why is my Itunes "Purchased" list empty?

My Ipod is missing "Ten Million Slaves" by Otis Taylor, I would download it again, but not able to. I checked my computer in the music and media files and its not there either...and not on the Ipod. I went to the Itunes store and there are no purchases listed under my account under the quick lnks "Purchased" (NEW).

My problem is solved

  • I have had three seperate credit card charges from itunes but I haven't ordered anything and they do not appear on my itunes purchased list.

Why do I have mystery charges??!!
Hi I have been charged three seperate transactions on my credit card statement from itunes. I did not make these purchases and I have checked on my itunes purchase list and they do not appear. How or why did this happen? What can be done to prevent further false purchase transactions? I have already informed my credit card company.
    Thanks :/

If the charges are not reflected in the Purchase History, then it's most likely a fraudulent charge to your credit card directly rather than an unauthorized purchase through your iTunes Store account in which case it will be up to your bank to handle. I would, however, suggest that you change your password to your Apple ID, using one that will be difficult to guess, just as a precaution. You can also go here:
    http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/
and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store, though if the false charges didn't come through them, there will be nothing they can do.

  • HT201272 My purchased videos are not listed in my iTunes purchased list. How do I re download?

My purchased videos are not listed in my iTunes purchased list. How do I re download?

Films and/or TV programmes cant be redownloaded in all countries. If some show in the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app on your iPad but not all then have you changed countries since buying them, are they still in yoru country's store, and are any hidden : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4919
If you can't redownload them then do you have copies of them on your computer's iTunes library and/or on your backup of your downloads/library so that you can sync them back to your iPad ?

  • HT203164 I have purchased several books on tape via my computer and now want to sync them to my ipod....I can't find the appropriate buttons to do that.  Also though I have receipts for books purchased they are not showing up on my Itune purchased list.

I have purcase several audio books via Itunes and they are on my computer however I have been unable to figure out how to transfer (sync??) them to my Ipod.  Also I have receipts for several Itune audio books but they are not showing up on my purchased list. Help!!!

lizdance40, audio books are NOT available for redownload. Books with words areavailable for redownload.
    See:

In the future please do not post incorrect information

If iTunes still carries the books, they ARE available to download from the cloud, either to the computer or your iPod Touch directly.
Open iBooks on the device and tap on 'purchased'.
    download.
iTunes does not garentee to carry a book forever, a serious flaw.  If you can't find the book in iTunes anymore and didn't keep it on the computer, or backed up, it may be gone.
    To add audio books to the iPod;
you have to check the box at the bottom section of the Books screen that says, "sync audio books"

Any idea what i may have done, and how i can rectify it? I dont want to plug my iPod in or it might put them all on it again and i really dont want that!

While running iTunes 6.0.4.2 on my Windows XP x64 machine, iTunes does not recognize my Pioneer DVR-109 CD burner.
Yes, I have update the burner's firmware to the newest level.
Yes, I have added the line 'PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-109' in the appropriate place in C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes\CD Configuration\gcdroem.cfg.
Yes, I did include two spaces between DVD-RW and DVR-109.
This is very, very frustrating. Please help.

  • Why is my "Recent Purchases" list blank (not empty - blank)?

I'm running the latest iTunes (11.1.3 (8)) on my MacBook Pro (10.6.8) and I have bought lots of tunes in iTunes.
However, when I click on "iTunes Store" to go to the store, and then "Purchased" under "Quick Links", and then select "Recent Purchases" on the left, I get a list of 200 blank lines. The space for them is there, but there's nothing but whiteness.
Everything else seems to work fine in iTunes; just the list of purchased items is blank. Suggestions?

The solution - turn cookies back on in Safari.
I'm guessing here, but it seems likely that iTunes uses the same rendering engine as Safari, and perhaps it is also dependant on Safari's use or non-use of cookies.
What I know for sure is this - once I turned cookies back on in Safari, my list of Purchased items was populated, instead of being blank. So, hope this helps others.
(I didn't have to reload my library, or any of the other things that others have suggested.)

  • Why, even if I disable my itunes purchases list when I sync my iPhone, that playlist keep appearing in my device?

I have tried again and again but I cannot get those albums I've sold out of my iPhone. I don`t want to remove them. The main problem is that I usually play randomly and I'm tired of listening to the same music. I would like them not to sync if I don't want to... Any ideas?

If your iPhone was configured with an iPhone configuration utility, etc, you may have accidentally set parental controls. Check for both a profile (Settings > General > Profiles) or Parental Controls through iTunes.
Both can be set to block downloads or access to apps that will remove the iTunes app from your device.

  • HT201359 my credit card shows an iTunes charge that I don't recall. How do I find out what the purchase is? I've tried App Store and iTunes purchase list, but they only show items...not receipt numbers

I have been trying in vain to get purchase details on my iPad. I click on the iTunes button, but it only shows the names of the songs, I click on the App Store icon and it shows apps, but none of these match the charge, there is no email regarding purchases. What is the point of having reference numbers when they don't allow you to use them to reference??

You can only view the full purchase history on your computer's iTunes : if you log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option, you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it. Click on that and you should then see a list of your purchases.
On your iPad you can view a cut-down version (and optionally contact support if you have a problem with a purchase) via this page : http://reportaproblem.apple.com

  • Why is the itunes purchases not available in other devices such as apple tv? It is the same account!

I been purchasing movies and TV shows in the AppleTV. However, I can not view these items in my mac or ipad. I am using the same account for all the devices. why those purchases are not avaialble in the itune account when I use other devices?

The short URL appears to bounce you on to
    http://itunes.apple.com/gb/podcast/u...447?i=85228289
and obviously this isn't a valid Store URL. I've no way of further checking the short URL. Possibly you don't: I should try making another one.

  • Why do my iTunes purchases appear and disappear?

I have no experience with iCloud, and it confuses me greatly. A year ago when I got my first iPhone, songs I purchased on iTunes would randomly fade in and out; when this happened, I was able to physically see the songs with a little cloud next to them, but could not tap it, play it, edit it, etc. Sometimes, when the songs would reappear, i was able to tap the cloud and "download" the song. (Whatever THAT means). Eventually I gave up, deleted any connection to iCloud and the songs I had, and they were no more.
Fast forward to present. I just purchased a MacBook Pro. While signing into my iTunes account, I see that they're back? And, like usual, they're faded into a grey color and I can't click, edit, play, etc. When I try to sign into iCloud to figure this mess out, it claims it must send me a verification email before I can go any further. Of course, the email never arrives? Basically, this entire this is annoying and frustrating. I simply want to listen to these songs, and don't understand why it has to be such a hassle to just play one of them. Why can't they JUST BE THERE? I don't want to utilize iCloud. I just want all of my devices to be separate entities with information securely stored in ONE place.
If anyone can help, I thank you immensely.

    Go to....
    https://appleid.apple.com
Click on the Manage Account Button sign in with your Apple ID and Password and check the information shown on the next screen.. In particular which email account is being used... and if is is verified or not...
If you have not set up your iCloud account on your Mac then you need to do so but for now you can go to....
    https://www.icloud.com
Sign in and you can check your iCloud email address from there... and look for the verification email for you to use....
If you choose to use a different email account as your main Apple ID email account.. such as Gmail/yahoo etc.. then you must sign into that account via your web browser and again look for the verification email for you to use to verify your iCloud account..

  • Why are my iTunes purchases only partially downloading?

Hello and thanks for the help.  I've purchased multiple songs and albums from iTunes.  Recently, I've downloaded 2 songs from same artist, different albums, and only received a partial download (approximately 17 mins of a 50 min song).  My library is showing that the entire song has dowloaded but stops at the partial minute mark.  How do I access and/or re-dowload entire song?

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the tracks and try redownloading fresh copies.
Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the items that are not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the items, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" links next to the items.

  • Bought a tv series from my iTouch, only 8 episodes show up as available on my computer/iTunes purchased list

I recently bought an entire season of the West Wing from my iTouch, and when I plugged my iTouch into my computer to sync, something went wrong and only 8 episodes show up on my computer and as available for download from the "download purchases" thing on iTunes. My iTouch is having problems syncing with iTunes properly, so they're still on my iTouch, but I'd like to get them onto my computer, too. Any ideas of how I can solve this?

Are you using the same Apple ID for your iPod and the iTunes store on your computer?
In some countries re downloading certain content types is not allowed. Up until recently even though I had purchased a Movie from itunes I was not allowed to redownload movies. Music - Yes, TV Shows  Yes, Apps -Yes.

  • ITunes purchase listed as "protected"

I purchased a song from iTunes and after the purchase am unable to transfer it to my ipod. what does it mean when a song is a "protected AAC audio"???

It means you acquired a song that is copy-protected with Apple's vendor proprietary DRM scheme. If it does not play, you need to authorize your computer to play songs purchased from that account.

  • ItUnes purchased songs that were lost or won't play on my computer

On my iTunes purchased list it shows some songswith an exclamation point on the left. When I click to play it states the song could not be used because the original file could not be located. My ITunes sore sho i purchased the song on this computer. How can I get the songs back?

    Try re-download from your Device:
To download previously purchased music to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Open the iTunes Store on your device.
Make sure you are signed in with the same account used for the original purchase.
Tap Purchased from the bottom navigation bar.
On iPad, tap the media button in the upper-left corner.
    Tap Music.
Once you've located the music you are looking for, tap the download button.
Note: To download all songs from a purchased album, tap on the Album's toggle button to switch to Album view.

  • Cannot download previous iTunes purchases

I have purchased 172 songs, which I can see on the iTunes Purchased list.  However, iTunes on my PC only shows 73 songs have been downloaded.  I have tried to re-download these via iCloud, but when trying to do so it is showing the songs have already been downloaded.  Looking at my old iPod most of the 'older' purchases are stored on the device.  The iPod will not sync with iTunes on my PC.  When connecting the iPod I am informed the iPod is synched with a different library.  My iPad also has different purchased items.  I had to reinstall Windows 7 on my machine, which would appear to be the cause of the problem.
