Why is my Kuler name part of my e-mail address?

I'm new to Kuler just today and, while I love it, it's the only place on the entire internet that seems to publicly display the first half of my email address as my screen name. I've got a separate and different screen name to my email address, but this doesn't show once I login. It works in the Acrobat site, but not on Kuler. Please help! Thanks...

This is a long standing problem: Unlike all other Adobe Websites, Kuler does not pull the user's Adobe ID screen name, but uses the the email address (up to the @). If your email address uses your real name that is displayed, violating your privacy and Adobe's Privacy Policy. All my Kuler palettes publically display "by [Real Name]", not "by TG_SF," my Adobe ID screen name. Logging out, deleting cookies and logging in do NOT help. For years, the Kuler forums are full of pleas to Adobe to fix this privacy bug, but they don't. Someone, please wake them up! Thank you.

Did you change the email address or create a new Apple ID?
If the email address associated with the account was merely changed, sign out of the Apple ID on the devices and sign in using the new credentials.

Symbol as part of an e-mail address...

hello.
I use Mac Mail.
Every time I try to type in a friend's e-mail address in a new mail message, a symbol pops up in the address field as part of the actual address.
I delete that part of it, but as soon as I hit the "enter" button (so that the cursor dissappears), the symbol pops up again.
And when I try to send, it says that it's an invalid address.
I can't get rid of this thing.
The symbol used to be in the address book under this person's name.
It was in the last name field.
But I deleted it a while ago.
Now he is just listed as a first name. No last.
As soon as I type the first few letters of this friends' name, the mac automatically enters this symbol in the address field, at the end of the actual real address.
can someone help?

From Mail's Help menu:
To manage addresses in your Previous Recipients list:
Choose Window > Previous Recipients.
Do one of the following:
1. To sort the list by name, email address, or the date the address was last used, click a heading.
2. To search for a name in the list, enter the name in the search field .
3. To remove a selected recipient from the list, click Remove From List. Removing the recipient is useful if you don't intend to use it again or if you previously mistyped an address and want Mail to stop suggesting it as a matching address.
4. To add a selected recipient to your address book, click "Add to Address Book." (Addresses that are already in your address book have a card icon next to them.)

I want to stop the extra part of an E-Mail Address from appearing at beginning during manual type entry

A couple of upgrades ago I noticed when I started typing an E-Mail Address manually, just as before, it starts coming up with suggestions. NOW, when I select, it adds the search typing in front of the Name and E-Mail Address. Before the Name and E-Mail Address replaced the search typing. Is still does the replace IF there is MORE than one possible displayed and I click on the desired.
If I type tru I get what I want BUT it enters "tru >> Fire Company Trustees <[email protected]>" into the address line. I put the quotes to show what is actually included, which is the letters tru AND the >>. I now have to remember to go back and "clean up", getting rid of the "tru >>" so it says Fire Company Trustees <[email protected]>

Log into your account, launch Mail, and select Preferences from the Mail menubar option->Accounts and delete his and add yours.

When I try to print out an E-mail that is longer than one page, part of the 2nd page is truncated. I then have to go to Safari to print out the entire E-mail without part of it being truncated.
When I have multiple E-mail addresses on a single E-mail, how can I send the E-mail so that each recipient only sees his/her name and E-mail address rather than everyone else that the E-mail is addressed to?

Some style rules that Firefox handles well on the screen can cause this problem. Many email sites have a print button which simplifies the message format and removes navigation elements, etc., and Firefox generally handles print-formatted pages better. If your email site doesn't have print-formatted pages or those do not print, a "hack" is to select the text you want to print and then choose the Selection option in the print dialog.
To hide email addresses from recipients, you need to place them in the BCC field. What do you put in the TO field in that case? You can use your own address.

Why can I NOT name a Reminder List the exact same thing as a Calendar?

Remember the good old days when ToDo Lists where automatically related to a specific calendar? I want that back. Why can I not name a Reminder List and a Calendar with identical titles? Why do I have to create a calendar named "Blue Project" and then create a Reminder List and name it "Blue Project 2" or some other iteration? This is totally asinine.

Precisely. How is "loss of functionality" progress or an upgrade? Why should I have to install an extension just to get a "reload" button? What a pile of crap. Why not have a "Use shit interface" tickbox in the Options dialogue so people can choose if they want their version of Firefox to have pants functionality?

A Map is not simply a collection of stuff, it is a mapping from stuff to stuff.
It doesn't make any sense to "add stuff to a map", unless you tell it both a key and a value.
It doesn't make any sense to ask "does this contain stuff", unless you tell it to look in its keys or in its values.
Those (and similar) reason explain why a Map is not a Collection.
Note that there are views of the keys and the values that do behave like Collections (for example you can take the keys() view of the Map and tell it to remove stuff from it and it will do what you'd expect). But the Map as a whole is not a Collection of stuff. It is a mapping of stuff.
(I hereby declare "stuff" to be a technical term).

Not really, a bug I suspect...
Assuming you are in a region where you are allowed to redownload your past music purchases, delete the corrupt tracks from the music section of your iTunes library, close & then reopen iTunes, go to the iTunes Store home page, click the Purchased link from the Quick Links section in the right-hand column, then select Music and Not on this computer. You should find download links for your tracks there.
While downloading select Downloads in the left-hand column and make sure Allow Simultaneous Downloads is unchecked. This seems to help with partial downloads...
If the problem persists, or that facility is not yet available in your region, contact the iTunes Store support staff through the "Report a problem" links in your account history, or via Contact Support.

It is because purpose of both is different. CRM is used to increase business touch points to customer. ERP is used to run basic business processes. and purpose of crm is to bring customer close to you. It proivde various channels with which customer can intract. Marketing sales and services are basic block (pillar) of crm. For detils read documentation on sap.com

Why does the "Computer Name" sometimes change?

                Not a big deal, just curious, why does the "computer name" sometimes change?
                 The name will be the same, but it will add a number....2,3,4...I always change it back so it doesn't have a numeric value next to it, but just wondering why it happens.

Can also occur after your computer is put to sleep and then wakes back up or after your computer is force quit and immediately restarted. Sometimes the router 'believes' the computer is still connected when it actually isn't. When that computer re-establishes a connection the router 'tells' the computer that a computer with that name already exists so it has to change its name. By default a computer running MacOS adds a number (or increments its number) when this happens.

Your full name shows only to you; we see your screen name of packetstar.
Use the drop-down next to your user name at the top of the page and select Edit Profile, then Your Profile and Privacy tabs if you want to tweak your settings.
