Why is my links panel totally blank for everything now?

Dont know what is going on but now with every existing or new document I start with images, the links panel is totally blank. I cant find any way to get anything to show in that panel anymore. I have restarted several times and that isnt fixing anything. What is causing this and how do I fix?

I get emails from Amazon but the message window is blank
Just what i said above. I've gotten several emails from Amazon. It's always the same, the message window is always empty.
Also When I'm emailing a buddy of mine and we are going back and forth using the same original email we always change color of the font with each reply. However after several exchanges I quit getting his newest response. The message comes back to me but doesn't have his last reply. To see it I have to go to Earthlink's Webmail to get the rest of the message.

Firefox doesn't do email, it's strictly a web browser.
If you are using Firefox to access your mail, you are using "web-mail". You need to seek support from your service provider or a forum for that service.
If your problem is with Mozilla Thunderbird, let us know and we can move this thread to the Thunderbird queue. This question currently is in the Firefox queue for answers.

Why the SAME links and ads on every page now?

I've recently noticed that after I've gone to a couple different websites, that now adds for that website appear on websites they were not previously on. Additionally, I frequent a forum and a guy provided a link to some things he'd taken, and the site hosted pics/links that are tantalizing not enough for google safe search to filter, but inappropriate as far as I'm concerned. Now those stupid adds appear on other sites as well and I don't want them to as I did not want to view them on the original site, now I can not allow my small kids to be next to me while searching for things without some trepidation about what may turn up. Why has this started to happen and how do I manage it so I can delete whatever it is that is letting it now happen?

Main Screen Space is blank for everything?

Ok, try this best as I can.... I installed Adobe Edge CC on labtop. I emailed a folder full of photos from Photoshop CS6 from work comp to my personal labtop. From there, I re-opened the images in Photoshop CC on labtop, resized them, and re-saved as PNG into same folder (replacing the oringinals from email)
Everything was going good, I was where I wanted and motion was working great with no issues....
I then went and tried to install After Effects CC,,, but computer said my Photoshop 5.5 (my older version) was open and needed to be closed to continue installation. ( However, no photoshop was even open at this point)
I then decided to uninstall my older version of Photoshop from labtop, since I installed Photoshop CC...... finished installing After Effects...
When I went back to Adobe Edge animate,,,, all my timeline and layers were there,,, however,, everything was white. I tried previewing in browser and was still all white. ( when i click on layer image, the outline appears, so everything is still there, but nothing shows)
I have no idea why this took place and need of help!

Sorry for the long lead time on a response - things have been hectic with the holidays! Yes, if you reimport your images or move them into your images/ folder, you should be able to use the swap image button to select the proper image. Select your element, then in the properties panel, you should see a button that will allow you to select from the current images in your library.

Itunes does not sell any apps at all for computers.
Itunes ONLY sells apps for iphone/ipod/ipad.
If you want an app for your Mac, tehn shop in th Mac App Store

Why is my ipad and itunes working for everything on the stores, but the search doesnt work on them? Any ideas what i can do to help it?

My ipad and iphone wont search for anything on the app store or itunes store, after a minute of loading it says 'server has timed out' in the blue box. But the weird thing is all the other features on the stores work, and do not crash. How could i fix this?

I seperated each step and changed it abit for ya that i found that maybe useful for you bc it sounds like the same "Wireless Weirdness" that this person had the same problem.

1. Restart the computer and wait to see if the network is discovered before entering it manually.
2. Power off on the modem and router and restarted computer
3. If no network selected, do the diagnostics
4. Enter the SSID & PSWD
5. If asked for DHCP or PPo, chose DHCP
6. If asked for cable, say no bc u use wireless
after that, it should work for ya

So I'm a macgirl through and through...but my father just got me a brand new PC for my business and I can't turn it down. One problem though. My ipod touch and external harddrive are both formatted for Mac (I will be using the PC for everything now and "decommission" the mac). Before spending money on software like MacDrive and XPlay (which are a little too expensive for me). I thought I'd ask if there's another way to get all of my music and files onto my PC.

Some of the possibilities I'm guessing are: glitches in my Verizon FiOS Wi-Fi providership?; staying too long on a site that's waiting for me to finish and "Submit"?; computer hardware prob (yikes, I hope not! It's brand new). Any ideas out there?

I should mention that, for the first problem, I do make sure that my new tracks are stored in the folder where I told iTunes that my music is in. Also, when I say the cataloging of my library stops short of cataloging all my songs, I have tried leaving the computer unattended for days (my computer's sleep mode is disabled). It always stops before cataloging all of my music regardless of whether I am doing something else while iTunes is cataloging, or if I just let iTunes be the only program that's open during the cataloging process.

Pix, etc not listed in links panel. I know there's a quick answer to this question but our corporate idiots who built this forum didn't bother making it possible for anyone to actually search the forum directly, a feature that has been available on every other forum in the whole world since there were forums. So, what happened to my links panel? No pictures listed.

Possibly because there are no links in your document? The images may have been inserted with Copy/Paste, and that leaves no trail to the original files. There is no way to repair that.
If you are pretty sure there should be links, try saving the file as INX (CS3 and older) or IDML (CS4 (and probably newer)), then re-opening that file. It might repair stuff that broke somewhere.
Alternatively, if you don't see any links in any file, even if you just placed them in the recommended way (using Place), your ID may have been damaged. Try the advice in the big yellow banner at the top of this forum to reset your preferences.

Since you can edit and create text in InDesign, but you can’t edit or create imported art, text links are treated differently than graphic links. By default they do not show as links in the Links panel. Go to File > Preferences > File Handling and turn on Create Links When Placing Text and Spreadsheet Files. Now future placed text files will show in the Links panel. The only way to get already placed files to show is to place them again.
