Why is my Mozilla Firefox toolbar not working? The weather icon has not updated in weeks!!

For over a week I've had a terrible time accessing the web via Mozilla Firefox, so went back to using IE. Tried again today, and things seem to be fine, EXCEPT that the weather icon on my Mozilla Firefox tool bar is still not updating to the current conditions. It hasn't updated in weeks. What is happening?

May not be related to your problem but some of your Firefox Plugins are out-dated

Adobe has decommissioned the CS2 activation servers, so your old serial number is no longer usable.
If you download the special non-activating version of CS2 that Adobe has made available to licensed CS2 users, you MUST also use the new serial number provided by Adobe on that download page:

That S/N does work. I double checked.

My right click is not working. the context menu does not come up and i can no longer drag files/folders. I have checked the mouse and track pad in system preferences and the correct boxes are all checked (with a support member). Please can you help

You might want to update your profile so that we can see what model iMac you have and what version of OSX you're running.
For this question, it might help to know if you're dealing with a trackpad, Magic Mouse, or something else?
(Until your issue's resolved, you can Control-Left Click to get the right click functionality).

Deleting songs in itunes does not work - the other forum did not help

i have a new ipod (80GB)and i cannot delete anything from itunes. when i highlight and try delete/backspace nothing happens. when i right click on an item the menu that opens does not include a clear or delete option.

and i got 8 or 9 replies - without any success.
i have the latest itunes version and have it reinstalled again and again.
the otions i get when highlight and right click on a song in the music section in itunes are:
get info
rating
shoe in windows explorer
reset play count
reset skip count
convert selection for ipod
convert selection for apple tv
uncheck selection
mark as not new
add to playlist
show in playlist
copy
get album artwork
apply sort field
so there is no clear nor delete!
how on earth can i get my list smaller????
i am starting to think about all those lovely windows mp3 players.

no idea what happened here but for a moment i was actually able to delete songs from my playlist which caused me to loose a few songs. i then closed everything off and restarted and now it appears to work. the strange thing is i haven't changed a thing. however i will closely monitor this and if it stays like this i have no further reason to get my fingers in a twist. as i said a mystery to me, anyhow thanks to all who were involved trying to help.

Two Macs with Mac OS X 10.5.2. Both migrated from Mac OS X 10.4.11. One Mactel and one PowerPC. I can see the former from the latter, but not the latter from the former:

gives this error all the time for all listed servers:

After installing, boot holding down CMD+s, then when the prompt shows, type in...

Then let it do all 5 of it's things.
I'd do it on all of them.

Hi Dani, After speaking with a sales representative I have been advised that there are no available ports at my address. I was mostly sure this would be the situation, and this only adds to the frustration of our family. Just because we live in an area considered 'rural' we are treated with terrible access to any kind of fixed line internet connection at all. Is there any way for our family to recieve any kind of compensation for the fact that we cannot be supplied with the same quality and quantity of internet that most other people within a 50km radius of our house, can get? I do not understand why we have to deal with the comparatively tiny data amounts of the mobile broadband modems, and cannot even get a matched data quantity, seeing as we pay much more than the regular household to achieve not even a quarter of the data provided by one of the smallest residential ADSL bundles. I understand that these modems are intended for mobile use and this is why they are priced up, but the modems never leave our address which I'm sure some Telstra employee with access to IP tracking programs can clarify, they are soley for our home internet, and our family is grealty inconvinienced by the lack of ports to our area. Is there any way that we can request a port increase for our exchange, or any similar avenue to even slightly shorten the time our family has to wait for internet so that they can keep up with colleagues and peers in terms of schooling and work? As our location is not on NBN's 3 year plan, which gives us at least 3 more years until we can access high data-limit broadband services, and by then who knows how much more technologically integrated our society will become. Any information as to who we can talk with to try and achieve any kind of comparitvely capable internet services would be greatly appreciated, as would any information about the status of increasing port availability.

I have a macbook Pro7.1 intel core 2 duo 2.4 Ghz with 2 lots of RAM 2Gb each. i want to updrade the Rams and been trying lots of types and sizes but still not working. the laptop is either not starting any more or freezing when the OS launches.

Crucial certainly makes great RAM - it's what I use in my machine - and you should visit their website. Just to let you know, though, Crucial ships all over the world and have both UK and EU sites, if that helps.
Your specific model can hold up to 16GB of 204-pin PC3-8500 (1066 MHz) DDR3 SO-DIMMs, even though the 'official' Apple spec is for 8 GB. Something to do with a long-ago firmware update.
You may also want to visit OWC - their prices are high but they make excellent RAM as well.

After OS5 update, safari in ipad2 does not show pages of websites visited (should be up to 9) - it's now a bar at the top which I do not want. Prefer previous method. Anyway to get back to that?

How do I install a "Printe"r-s" icon on the Mozilla Firefox toolbar?

About five years ago I purchased an HP laptop running Windows 7. It's become outdated, slow, and unreliable.
Last week, I purchased and downloaded Windows 8, and downloaded Mozilla Firefox for free as well. Wow!
Just like a new, much better computer.
One problem. I can print from my email site without any trouble. However, I cannot print from a
web page because there is no printer icon on my Mozilla Firefox toolbar, as there was on my Windows 7 toolbar.
I can transfer any of 158 apps to my new toolbar, but those I don't need yet.
How can I transfer a working "Printer-s" icon onto my Firefox toolbar?

I did as you suggested with the "Customize Firefox" panel, and easily dragged and dropped the "Printer-s" icon to the toolbar, where it works like a charm.

Can't see the Menu Bar (File, Edit, View, History...Help)? Hold down the key ( key in OSX) and press the following letters in this exact order: V T M
The Menu Bar should now be displayed permanently, unless you turn it off again (View > Toolbars). Turning the Menu Bar on and off is a new feature in version 3.6.
See other bars under View > Toolbars. Click on one of them will place a check mark (display) or remove the check mark (not displayed).
To display the Status Bar, View, then click Status bar to place a check mark (display) or remove the check mark (not displayed).
* If items are missing then see if you can find them in the View > Toolbars > Customize window.
* If you see the item in the Customize window then drag it back from the Customize window to the Navigation toolbar.
* If you do not see that item then click the Restore Default Set button in the View > Toolbars > Customize window

Sorry I had to reply through your profile Gail from Maine, my PC has java issues. In any event, when I delete them directly from my device everything is perfect and cool. However, in the rare instance I want to add new music that I actually buy in stores (I know, quite the unique and old-fashioned idea...but hey Im an audiophile) once I upload the tunes, everytime I sync my library it re-adds everything that I spent hours deleting. In a perfect world, I thought I could maintain a massive iTunes Library, and add or delete (remove) songs from my iPhone to save both memory or keep my iPhone selections more current/apt to my musical "tastes" at that time. I know about the whole playlist thing, but thought there might be an easier way. ie - checking/un-checking the little box next to the song name, and then doing a sync. Again, everytime I do this however, whether everything is checked or un-checked it adds the entire library! So frustrating. Any suggestions. Thank you graiously in advance for your help.

All I am trying to do is enable "one click" functions for downloading gifts on Farmtown. I am on Windows Vista; have upgraded to Firefox5; updated Java today. When I try to download stuff from www.farmtown-links.com, a tab appears with "javascript:%20void%200" I have NO IDEA what this all means...I need an easy fix, PLEASE.
