Why is my phone calling number 1000?

It has made seveal calls to the number
I am unaware of these call yet I am being charged for them.
I am also unable to find out:-
1) Whose number it is.
2) Why the number is being called.
3) What exactly is calling the number ie which app.
I think I should be able to find out all these thing unless both the phone manufacturer and the telephone compnies are criminals (highly likely IMO).

Ha ha but Tmobile has been losing customers left right and centre, naturally that is zero surprise to me.
I am surprise their customers have not bombed their head quarters, same goes for Nokia.

Both seem to be companies fraught with problems, seems both are stuck with useless management whose
"business plan" is to defraud mislead and rip off customers.
No wonder investors are worried, if you rip out all the dead and rotten wood, there is nothing left!!!! ha ha!!!
Back to me though, no more attempted call outs on my phone since I disablede the anti-virus.
Ona side note anti-viruses have twice turned my PC into a brick!
Could not boot up on one occasion!!! Eventually manged to cure it.
I think I would be better off witht he viruses, they have caused me far less problems than anti-virus software, and of course my phones 'anti-virus' is yet another example of that!!!
People who write viruses want your computer to work, and work well because if they do not the virus cannot spread!!!
I can imagine the first thing a virus does is fix all your computers problems and get it in tip top shape!!!

Your response is that she has it forwarded to voicemail. It is a Samsung -so she wants to know how she un forwards it,. Or is my phone directly to her voicemail. The 'Finger Tips" says to send a call directly to voicemail push On/Off twice. I did not knowingly do that

Clarifications... when you say "... only some calls..." and "... someone says they called..." - are these all from from one caller?
After following all these fine suggestions and eliminating them systematically, consider that this kind of stuff is as old as the cellphone system. A few possibilities that occur to me just regarding the network system:
you are in a habitually dead spot area. I have one in my own house!
you travel through many of these dead zones (traditionally called 'low-coverage' areas) - remember how big a deal the coverage maps were to us?
there is an issue with your network service provider's back-end system (my first thought - above)
keep plugging away amigo! I'll bet you get this solved.

Why is every phone call messed up with speaker or mute buttons?

Every time I get a phone call on my white iPhone 4, I hit with my cheek the mute or speaker button. Can anyone help me before I return this phone?

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

Why my coming phone calls wouldn't work in continuity

Can anybody help? I upgraded to Yosemite right after it came out, and now is the newest 10.10.1
Everything works fine, except some minor bluetooth problems.
iWork and message works great within the continuity function.
but the phone calls never work. At first, I just wait, now I can't wait anymore, how come it's not working.

What I found is if I turn off my bluetooth, it would stop working. after I turn it on, it would work again, but the phone calls never work. Could anyone help me with this.
by the way, my mac is the retina macbook pro 15 inch early 2013

After having tried several with my bluetooth on and off, I found out that messages and my iWork can work through bluetooth, but he phone calls really need under the same wifi. Even though I am on the same wifi now, but when I turned off the bluetooth, messages and iWork don't work either. probably because I'm in the campus wifi, it might be different from the regular home-use wifi router.

Why does my phone call people randomly if i am not touching it

My iPhone 5 keeps dialing people in my contact list at all hours of the day and night. It does this when it is sitting on a table plugged into the charger. I can't figure out why this keeps happening. Any ideas? I have bluetooth on, but nothing is paired.

I can't seem to make n actual phone call from my phone. I dial the number, and at the other end it rings, and the person knows it is me trying to call... but on my end of the phone is nothing at all. Why is that?

The short solution is to go to Settings > FaceTime > iPhone Cellular Calls OFF.
However, as Csound points out, you should not really be sharing an Apple ID with anyone. See: How to Stop Sharing an Apple ID.

In preferences turn on iTunes sharing in iTunes preferences and keep iTunes turned on in both accounts. Or better yet put the iTunes library on the main HD rather than in an account and set the location of the library to that location in iTunes preferences.

Can you choose to block phone calls but not texts from a number?

So I have searched all over the place and have not found an answer. I am sure someone has blocked me from calling them because when I try to call them I recieve this message: "Welcome to Verizon Wireless. The number you were trying to reach has calling restrictions which has prevented the completion of your call."However I am wondering if they can still receieve my texts. I have sent two and they both show that they have been delivered on my phone and they both also show up on my online bill as having been sent from me and recieved to the number that I am pretty sure has blocked me. Does Verizon allow someone to block just phone calls but not text messages? Or if you block a number from calling does that mean texting from that same number is automatically blocked as well (or is it two seperate processes)? I understand it may look like it has been sent on my end, but I am wondering, since I never got a "message failed" indicator or anything else telling me they never got it, if they were able to receive and read the 2 messages? That person did block you, and no they cannot receive or read your texts.

When I receieve a phone call from a new number, is it possible to save that number from the incoming calls screen? Can I create a contact from the number itself without having to go to the contact list and write the number in manually?

SPA IP phones doesn't show calling number after the call was picked UP

Our different CISCO SPA IP phones models (at this time we are using 7.4.8a version) are working with Broadsoft AS. And now we have a problem: when CISCO SPA IP PHONE pickups the call ( by pressing BLF lamp) and the call is connected, Cisco user doesn't see any information (calling name or calling number) with whom he is talking now. He on only sees on screen pickup extension *11 and info that the call is connected. From SIP traces I can see this information in PAI header in SIP 200 OK message (when pickup was initiated).
I also tried to change Caller ID Header - no luck. I've upgraded IP phone to latest version (7.5.1a) - didn't help.
I've experience with THOMSON and MGC. By pressing BLF , Thomson displays info who (calling number) is calling to your configured BLF line and gives you actions: retrieve this call or cancel - you can choose if you still want pickup this call.
So can you give me some hints how to fix this issue? Our at this time CISCO IP PHONE doesn't have such feature?

Why can't i make or receive phone calls on my new iphone 4

I received my i-phone 4 in the mail yesterday. Never had a "smart" o\phone before. My husband plugged it in to the pc to charge while I was at work, I think he also connected it to our wifi. When I got home from work, I spent the next little while setting up things like the wallpaper, alarms I need throughout each workday, and downloading a couple of songs and an app or two. I placed my first facetime calls, which went quite smoothly. Thne I tried to make a plain old call...instantly the screen read "call failed." And that's what keeps happening. I tried calling my cell from the home number and it goes straight to voicemail as though my phone weren't even on. So what's the deal? I can surf, and download, and facetime, but I can't make a phone call from my phone?

That would be a question for your carrier.
