Why is my space only 63 MB even I have deleted a 166 MB App?

My space was after I made a backup suddenly 0 bytes?! Then I deleted some small Apps. Nothing happend! After that a App the size off 166MB, but now I still only have 63MB free space?! Does anybody know why that could be?

The app you are trying to download my be a zipped file and more space than 1.3GB. go to settings/general/usage and delete what you no longer want to make more space

After the most recent iOS update there is a problem with phantom photos.
Perhaps you have phantom photos, that are invisible in the Recently Deleted album and thus cannot be deleted. Then resetting the date will help. Changing the date makes the invisible photos in "Recently deleted" visible again:

I managed to get rid of the phantom usage. Restoring iPhone and resetting the phone settings/data do not work for me.
I had to move the Date on my phone earlier by 1,2,3 months and found the phantom photos in the Recently Deleted Folder. Next, I deleted the photos manually from the Recently Deleted Folder and the usage got freed up from my iPhone.

Why l cannot receive incoming emails even if have set all the informations correctly?

I have bought and registered a new email account, and l have set up all the informations on Mail (also with the technical support of my email provider) and there is no way to receive the emails.
I can send them in Outbound, but the Inbound id not working.
YES all the informations provided in Mail are correct!
My email provider said to contact Mac and ask for clarifications, because there is anything we can do from our end.
Can anybody explain why? All other accounts are working fine.

What isp / mail server company you are using?
Turn off your firewall. Perhaps your router in blocking the mail port.

Why is messaging taking up 2gb when I have deleted everything

I am running out of space on my ipad so checked the usage. after having deleted messages my ipad still seems to think 2 GBB of space is taken up by messages. How can I sort this out? Any help would be appreciated thans

Has anyone else lost pages when they have downloaded a book? I recently downloaded a book that was meant to have 300 pages, it only downloaded 290, I have deleted and re-installed it, but still the same number of pages?? Help!!

Yes, they do play in iTunes. (And just in case you don't know, I am on my home computer where I originally set up my iPod.) When I hook up my iPod to my computer the songs are there on my ipod, while veiwing it on iTunes, and they play, they just won't play on my iPod. I have deleted many unwanted files and apps and yet the available space keeps depleting every time i am using my Macbook Pro. I believe under the OS 10.7.4 one of the features is it backups or has backgrounding features which uses memory. Sometimes even when i hv 8GB space after using my Macbook Pro for say 2hrs surfing internet and using Pages which has a "Save Version" feature suddenly my 8GB goes down to 300+MB only and it starts prompting me "My Startup Disk is almost full" once it reaches 1GB space left. How can i get more space.... Please someone can help me? Do i need to re-format my hardisk??!! Any help out there is greatly appreciated.
My original HD is 320GB. And i don't hv too many Apps installed. I do have abt 50-70apps. I do have many photos and videos stored in iPhoto's Library though.

One thing I've noticed is that a shared tab pops up when I open the finder under "favorites" with a random connection. It's called hp68b... None of my friends that I live with have this and we all use the same internet. Two days ago when I would click it and click get info, it said it was a pc. When I checked it today it said it is a "sharepoint" and looks like a harddrive.
I took it too the store after i spilt water on it but when I got it back it ran perfectly fine. I don't know a lot about computer so if somebody could help me. It says I'm connected to it and I can't disconnect or delete it. I don't know if the guy at the computer store put something in my computer and is sharing all my files.

Why does undo table space got full even when i commit between inserts??

I have stored procedure which inserts around 5million record(insert select not applicable); and it always fails because of "ORA-30036: unable to extend segment by 8 in undo tablespace" although the procedure commits after every 10,000 records and the undo table space is 2GB. so my question is why does undo table space got full even if i commit?? & do i have other solution than making the undo auto extend??

Actually, i had the same problem that my UNDO tablespace starting eating too much space, my undo_retention is set as 3hours, but how can estimate it using the view.
Here the following sample output

Can anyone assist with it ? But i still have the strange feeling why would UNDO get full once commit is being used. Even i did try with AUTOEXTEND and it throw me the errors that can't extend UNDO tablespace.

Why 8GB ipod nano only gives 7.4GB of free space...

I just bought an ipod nano and when i bring up itunes to sync my music, it only says there is 7.4GB of space when there should obviously be 8. This wouldn't matter much to me, but my library of 1400 won't fit entirely on the ipod. It would if I had the full 8GB like I should... Any reason why the memory space is off by .6GB?

I just rec'd my first iPod and am wondering something similar. It has 16GB and was pre-loaded with a couple of movies, which I promptly lost when I synched it. Totally 'empty', no music or videos loaded or anything, the iPod has 15.4GB out of 16GB available. I am figuring it is because the system files take up the rest of the space. Correct?

My MacBook Pro keeps on randomly scrolling on webpages, putting several spaces when I don't press the spacebar and only sometimes makes a space when I press the spacebar. Why is it doing this? Do I have a virus?

I am currently struggling to write this due to my very erratic spacebar. When I press it, it only creates a space about two thirds of the time. When I don't press it, it creates spaces, often several, in the middle of words. This is incredibly annoying and time consuming when writing. If I'm on iTunes or DVD player, it means the media is constantly stopping and starting.
When I am on webpages they will often scroll straight to the bottom, and when I try to scroll back up it won't allow me to and the screen will look like it's jumping, like my instruction for it to scroll up is fighting against an external instruction forcing it down. This 'fighting' effect is also seen with the spacebar issue when it makes several spaces and I press backspace to try and delete the spaces.
I have a MacBook Pro bought in July 2012 using Mac OS X 10.7.5. I use ESET Cybersecurity, which hasn't identified any viruses. I have deleted all internet downloads that aren't from well-known websites, yet the problem persists. It has been happening on and off for about a week, during which time I have turned the computer on and off many times, though today it has been far worse than before. I don't know why you believe that emails would be using 6go if you deleted them all. I think you concluded this from the available space left and what you know is using space. You have to understand that what is taking storage space is not only apps, music and emails. There is also the iOS which is taking space as well as a lot of data cached on your devices that will usually be shown as 'Other' category if you are to look at your space usage from iTunes.
If the total 'Other' space appears excessive, I suggest you should 'restore' your device (after a full recent backup); this sometimes helps to remove any data left behind. But before this, try a look at Settings->General->Usage->Manage Storage. This will list apps from the most space consuming to the less. It could also help you to identify which apps may take to much of your precious space not only by apps size but also from the data the apps had stored.

I have 'not enough space' cursed Pages; even though I have plenty of room it refuses to let me download and install it.

Common problem, except all trouble shooting leads to the suicide of the question asker because it yields only claims that no matter what you say, you need to make MORE space. It's a 30 meg file, I have 500 meg free. I have deleted and redownloaded and rebooted about thirty times, in various combinations.
Previously I have cursed many apps this way, always free apps, so I just accepted they were 'dead' to my phone, even after iOS updates and ever since the iPhone 3 this problem has existed (ie: if you didn't have enough space when you START downloading the first time, kiss that app goodbye for life, it just WILL NOT download EVER.) and will either sit at 'Waiting' for a while then claim there's not enough space, or just sit at 'Waiting' indefinitely and progress no further.
The only thing I haven't tried is formatting the entire thing as a fresh phone and retrying, but that's pretty extreme. Has Apple acknowledged this bugs existance yet? Every support thread I see gets replies of "Make more space." no matter what the asker states and eventually the guy just stops coming back and asking, so they're all pretty much unresolved.
Just for the record, I have extensive experience with technology, and am not mentally disabled, so please feel free to talk to me at the level at which your inner voice talks to you, I assure you I will get it. So, can has halp plz? 8(
(PS: I cannot update to the lates iOS 7 as I do not have the insane size required for it to decompress and install, etc, and to do so would require deleting things I cannot lose or having to back it all up manually because there's no convenient way to do it otherwise. Although I can assure you that this problem has been present since the iPhone 3 first came out which was my first iPhone and has been present in every iOS update since, so I have no reason to believe out of the dozens of updates that iOS 7 has addressed this.)

i thought the photo stream only holds 1000 i usuaaly take each month and save them to iphoto but if thats the my ipad should say the same amount and it doesnt - it shows 2.5 gig which is correct for iphoto. and i havent ever had that much but if for some reason icloud has that much saved how do i delete and again if it does why doesnt ipad show that amount _ HELP!
