Why is my text out of order? Text tool bug?

I've seen this issue discussed for CS6 and earlier, but not for Photoshop CC.
The issue I am having is that the text is out of order when I type.
For example, when I try to type and address like "1234 main st." it rearranges while I'm typing and ends up looking like ".main st 1234".
Some people have said that you need to change the preferences from one thing to another and restart, but this fix is not working for me.
This happens both when typing in a defined text box or just free typing.
Help!

Never mind, I found out that I had to go under the Sorting menu in the Get Info box and correct the Album box there. Hope this helps anyone else who has this issue.

Why are my albums out of order chronologically?

Ok so I have my library sorted Album by Artist/Year. This worked fine until just recently. I bought some Lady Gaga Remix EPs, and things are starting to get out of order now. However, everything is bought from the iTunes store, so I don't know why it would be messing up. Here is what the stuff looks like:

The bolded things are ones that are wrong. They are also the 3 most recent items of these that I bought.
I can understand (maybe) the mix-up of same-year things not being in order, but having a 2010 thing be after the 2011 stuff makes no sense. Especially when they all have the correct years and were bought from the iTunes store...
Any ideas? Also have a couple other albums with similar problems, but not bought from the iTunes store, so I attributed it to that.

You may want to make sure some of these albums are not checking the compilation
box under Get Info. That has screwed up my sorting in the past.

Text tool bug

Just installed CS4. Using Flash on a new project. Whenever I
try to change the font on my text tool options, Flash crashes on
me. Is anyone else experiencing this? Does anyone have a
solution?

I would contact Adobe directly for this problem.

Why is the text tool turning my screen black?

I submitted a forum about this a few months ago and no one's suggestions changed anything
Any time i create a text box my entire photoshop canvas turns black, i cannot see how the options i change affect the text and it's very frustrating.
I payed for a year of CC and I can't even accomplish anything.

So it fixed the screen turning black, but now certain tools like brush and smudge, things that i have to hold down, cause the screen to flash a transparent canvas.

Why Are My Text Align Buttons Grayed Out?

My users are unable to center text when edited pages in CS3 and CS4. The standard paragraph alignment buttons are grayed out.
All the users of my site have Admin role, and I have set up the role to allow unrestricted editing. And "Allow Users to Apply Styles"... At screenshot of some of my settings is attached. I don't see why Contribute is not allowing this basic element to work.

I experienced the very same issue, but found an interesting quick-fix that worked for us.
Several of my webpage content managers reported that they could not change the text alignment in pages created using Dreamweaver nested templates. We use nested editable regions in order to restrict portions of the pages (i.e. banners and navigation menus) from being edited.
I found that Contribute CS4 could realign text in some parts of the affected pages, but not others.
Further exam revealed that Contribute could change the alignment on any text that was inside a table on those pages. If I inserted a table and then cut-n-pasted the problem text into the table, the text lost its style/formatting, but it could then have its alignment changed.
Any text not inside a table could not have the alignment changed by Contribute and changing its style/formatting made no difference.
One note though: It was interesting that after pasting the text into a table, if I selected a chunk of text, the alignment buttons grayed out again. However, if I simply clicked on the line of text (did not select it), the buttons remained active and the text alignment could be changed.
I don't know why it is happening. The nested regions were working fine, or so I thought, until recently.
The above is a quick-fix and got my page content managers back online, but I'm still searching for a long-term solution if anyone has one.

Hi, I am having four problems with my Galaxy S5 and wondered if anyone knew a solution: (1) My text messages come out of order. This has happened since I got the phone, which is on network time. (2) My text messages are delayed - both sending and receiving. They get to others late and they come to me late. (3) My phone frequently gets extremely hot and the battery drains rapidly. From 95% to 15% in an hour or two. (4) When I am talking on the phone, the phone randomly switches to speakerphone so the person I am talking to comes out of the speaker. Since we are looking at multiple issues that cannot be controlled via the phone settings, I’d recommend you back your phone up and perform a factory reset. Hello I just got my galaxy s4 and whenever I text my boyfriend (who has another carrier) and its a long text it would be out of order. The last 2 sentences would get to him first then the beginning of the conversation will show up last....
Anyway to fix this? He has virgin mobile if that helps....

That's a strange issue 1631705, but we'll be happy to figure this out. Does this only happen with your boyfriend? Have you tried long messages to other people? If it is only happening with him, it may be the way Virgin mobile process enhanced messages (over 160 characters).

When reception allows the iPhone sends and receives the messages, this is also dependent on the reception of the other phone you are communicating with. If you really feel you have a problem, contact your Carrier about the problem.

Text Messaging Out Of Order?

Anyone else getting their text messages out of order? I will text, get a reply and text back but the order comes out something like my two texts and then a reply...its annoying.

order of my contacts conversations are out of order. the most recent person who texted me is not at the top but somewhere a couple of conversations down. how do i get them in the most recent order first

Use iTunes and make sure your iPhone is on the current iOS (4.3.5)
If this doesnt help make sure iPhone is setup to receive the network time. Choose General > Date & Time and turn Set Automatically to ON. (Note that in some locations, network time may not be available and in some cases, you may not see this option).
If the issue continues after turning this setting on, the issue may be occurring because messages are being sent in quick succession (more common if the messages consist of only a few short words).

Why does my text look jagged in Fireworks CS4?

I have had it up to here with fireworks CS4. I can't figure out why my text looks like my dog chewed on it. If Fireworks CS4 has the same text engine as Illustrator than why does my Text in Illustrator look crisp but my text in fireworks looks jagged. I tried using anti-lising but that didn't help. I know there's been a lot of text issues with Fireworks CS4 but I thought the bugs were all fixed by now. Check out the attatchments to see what I'm talking about.

I posted a similar discussion a few months ago and while many were very helpful with their suggestions I have all but given up with using text in Fireworks.
It just isn't worth the bother when other applications can do text with no fuss and no messing with sizes and resolutions. I tend to use illustrator or dare I say it, Paintshop Pro which produces text easily and clearly within a text box or over an image
I'm keeping an eye on your discussion to see if there are any new words of wisdom. Here's hoping.

Basically, your iMessage settings have become slightly off due to the update.
Go into Settings -> Messages -> Send/Receive.
You should see your phone number and your email address. Given your description, I would imagine that only your Email Address is checked. If you CAN (it's probably greyed out), check your phone number off, and it should work.
Now, operating under the assumption that you can't just turn the phone number back on:
1.) Go into Settings -> Messages, and turn iMessage off.
2.) Go into Settings -> iTunes and Appstore, and tap on your Apple ID at the top, and tap 'Sign Out'
3.) Power your phone off completely (Press and hold the sleep/wake key, then swipe to power off).
4.) Power your phone back on.
5.) Go back to Settings -> iTunes and Appstore, and sign back into your Apple ID.
6.) Go back to Settings -> Messages, and turn iMessage back to ON. Wait for iMessage service to activate.
7.) Go into Send/Receive again, and verify that your phone number is now checked off.
8.) Send a text message to a friend with an iPhone to verify that the issue is resolved.
NOTE: If you do not know your Apple ID/Password, reset it at http://iforgot.apple.com.

Why can't I search/find text I added in a PDF with the TouchUp Text tool in Adobe Acrobat Pro 9/X?

If I use the TouchUp Text tool in Adobe Acrobat Pro 9/X to modify a text, the program can't find the added/changed text. But when I just delete letters/words in the text, the rest/changed words can be found. Is that a known problem? Is there any fix or workaround?

Why is the text not the visible in the protected PDF opened on Mac?

Long story short:
I've created a document in Microsoft Word 2010 and saved it as PDF. With the .pdf open now in Acrobat Reader 9.4.1 I have enabled the protection over the .pdf file by only allowing Printing and saved the protected .pdf. All of these actions are made on Windows 7 machine. Now when trying to open the protected .pdf on Mac (with Snow Leopard 10.6.6 and Preview) the .pdf opened only shows the lines and bullets but not the text.
Why is the text not visible in the protected PDF opened on Mac?
(is this bug or a "feature"?)
Note: the protected .pdf looks good on Windows 7 and it works on Mac if the .pdf has no protection.

A. What application are you using to add the protection? Reader cannot add any file security and I don't think the PDF feature of Word will either.
B. Mac Preview has issues with PDF standards so there may be some features that you will experience issues with that have no workarounds.
C. Have you checked the file after adding security to see if all fonts are embedded?
