Why is my typekit not syncing to my desktop?

Why is my typekit not syncing to my desktop? Im on a PC.. Ive tried the process over and over now and i still cant see my TK fonts in adobe apps.

I'm sorry you ran into trouble here. There are a few things we can check right away to start debugging this:
- First, would you try signing out of the Creative Cloud app and see if this solves the issue?
- Could you try quitting/restarting the Creative Cloud app. Did this solve the issue?
- Could you try Turning File and Font Sync off under: Gear > Preferences > Fonts. Wait a second, then turn it back on. See if the font/s show up and if not, try syncing again. Did this solve it?
- Could you tell me if you're on the Windows/Mac OS X and the version?
- Could you check version of the Creative Cloud app you're using and let me know which version it is? This can be found under: Gear > Preferences > General > Account
If none of those worked, I would drop us an email at: [email protected] so we can look into this further.

    I must apologize as I misread your post. I though that you were talking about Safari bookmarks but you post does clearly state iBooks bookmarks.
    You may want to just try restarting both devices and see if that helps. One other thing that you could try is quit iBooks on both devices and then launch it again and see if the bookmarks are synced when you relaunch.

    No, perfectly normal to have a separate iTunes account for music/app purchases to the one you use for iCloud syncing of contacts, notes, etc.

    I thought this was happening to me too recently, until I realized I had a second calendar open on my computer (I use Gmail).  I was entering events into my 'Home' calendar in iCal - which is not set up to anything.  I had to make sure my Gmail calendar was open.  I ended up having to transer a bunch of stuff over from my 'Home' calendar to my Gmail calendar.  If you are using iCal, you can see mutliple calendars open at once and it's not overly obvious to which calendar you are adding events.  I'm now real careful to have my Gmail calendar as being the ONLY calendar that is visible.

    I have used a Palm device for many years. Acquired a new Centro. Upon installation of Palm Desktop (on Windows XP) that came with Centro, all contacts, calendar, to do, memos, etc transferred to the Centro during installation. 
    Subsequent changes to contacts and/or calendar on Centro are not syncing with Palm desktop when Hot Sync is performed. Hot Sync starts and appears to complete normally. To Do list and memos appear to sync just fine. Have tried changing conduits to have Centro overwrite desktop. Have uninstalled/reinstalled Desktop many times.

    I have a Centro/Verizon Wireless using Versamail with accounts established for personal POP and Exchange e-mail synchronization.  The latter account is for work.  Previously I owned a Treo 650p using Versamail. 
    When I first installed Palm OS Desktop and synched to my Centro device, it was on a Windows XP home computer, and no Versamail accounts were defined.  First I downloaded and installed the Versamail version which allowed Exchange synchronization.  I exported the Treo650p contacts list to a disk file, and imported it onto the Windows XP home computer into the Palm OS Desktop installed with the Centro-supplied CD.  This synched the imported contacts list to the Centro fine.  After I defined all the POP and Exchange accounts, synchronization with the office Exchange contacts list worked fine, and still does.  Synchronization with the windows XP home computer for contacts seems to still be ok, too regardless of the MS Exchange Versamail account commingling with my personal POP accounts.  Maybe the install sequence is overriding the previous posts' notation that MS Exchange mail definition will override synch with Palm OS Desktop?
    The problem now is I have a different/second home computer that's Vista os.  I installed the Palm OS Desktop and synch with the Treo.  The contacts list is not synching to this second home computer, maybe because I didn't follow the exact same sequence as for the Windows XP pc?  I can still synch my Centro with my Windows XP pc and that includes contacts.
    Is there a way on this second pc to override the MS Exchange contacts override for synchronization without having to go through the exact same install sequence as occurred on the Windows XP machine?

  • LR mobile on iPad picks/rejects are not syncing to my desktop

    I've used LR mobile since it was released. Current version of desktop Lightroom is 5.7.1. I synced my most recent collection with LR mobile and all photos showed up on my iPad. I picked/rejected them all on the iPad, but the picks/rejects would not sync to my desktop PC. The picks/rejects are showing on the web. I logged in/out of both LR interfaces. Resynced the collection. Picked/rejected some on the desktop (and those synced to the iPad), but when I pick/reject on the iPad it will not sync back to the desktop.

    Do other changes sync from Lr Mobile (e.g. edits) to Lr Desktop?
    What you can try is to remove the sync.lrdata file and restart LrD. This would restart/refresh the sync (metadata only).
    Removing the Sync.lrdata might fix whatever the issue is.  So remove the Sync.lrdata, start Lr, and then wait until it either syncs or gets stuck again and create at this point a Lr Desktop diagnostic log which can hopefully provide some clues.
    You can find the  sync.lrdata file here:
    On Mac it's at /Users/<user>/Library/Caches/Adobe/Lightroom/Sync Data/Sync.lrdata
    On Win it would be at C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Adobe\Lightroom\Caches\Sync Data\Sync.lrdata

    You can trigger the log via LR Desktop preferences -> Lightroom Mobile and when you hold down the alt key you will notice a generate diagnostic log button

    The receiver app has a specific list of servers it's compatible with, if the server is not on the list the app won't work in OS X.

    Does anybody have an idea as to why my recently updated Apple TV does not sync my podcasts from my Apple iD. It's supposed to, it's not doing it, and it's very annoying.
    This is only half the aggravation; the other half is that all my podcasts have been deleted automatically twice(no apparent reason other than perhaps a bug in iOS 7.0.2 / 11A501).
    This one I have managed to comeup with sort of a temporary fix while Apple fixes this: I made a copy/backup of the "Podcasts" folder inside the "iTunes Media" which in turn is in the "iTunes" folder Within the "Music" folder in my Mac. When my Podcasts are deleted, I just drag the backup "Podcasts" folder I created into the My Pocasts in iTunes.
    Apple please fix it.

    My selected playlists are not syncing from Itunes to my iPhone.  As a music teacher this is extremely problematic as I use my phone as my primary music player.  Anyone know why all music syncs but not the playlists?

    First, you're not talking to Apple - this is a users' forum.  Second, sync operations work one way - iTunes to iDevice; create and modify your playlists in iTunes, then sync them to your iPhone.

    That sounds exactly like an issue that has plagued McAfee users for around a year.
    Try disabling email scanning in your anti virus program.

    When I create an event on my iPhone 4 and then sync it to my MacBook, the event is not showing up in iCal.  I have "Sync all Calendars" checked in iTunes under info when my phone is connected.  This problem just started after I installed Snow Leopard.

        1.    First check that all your settings are correct, that calendar syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
        2.    Make sure the calendars you are using are in your 'iCloud' account and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud account (you can do this by clicking/tapping the calendar button in the top left corner of the application ), non iCloud calendars will not sync.
        3.    If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your calendars are in the iCloud account, you might try unchecking calendar syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling calendar syncing settings.

    Why didn't photo stream sync with iCloud on? I turned it on for both devices.

    Photo stream only adds photos taken on your device after turning it on.  Earlier photos aren't added.  New photos are added when the camera is closed, the device is connected to wifi and it has at least 20% battery life remaining.  Both devices also have to be sharing the same iCloud account to receive photos from your photo stream.  (If they aren't sharing the same iCloud account you would have to create a shared photo stream album and share this with your other device.  This article discusses how to do this: http://help.apple.com/icloud/#mmc0cd7e99.)
    Try taking a new photo on one of your devices, close the camera app, then be sure you are connected to wifi.  Then see if it streams to your other device (assuming it is signed into the same iCloud account).
