Why is my uploaded images thumbnails are desaturated ?

Can anyone explain to me what am I doing wrong ?
In my mac I see everything perfect the thunbnails in lightroom looks fine, but when I upload my images online the image thumbnails is desaturated.
This is an example of one of my images Thumbnail from a website :
And thats is how it should look like (this is how it looks like when i enter the image frome the same website) :
Please help me understand why it is happening ?
Thanks...

Looks lime you're uploading in the wrong color space and the website doesn't correctly tag the downscaled thumbnails with the color space. Make sure to select sRGB as the color space in your export.

    Hello Susan,
If you want to upload any photo into website, It depends on which website you are using. And you must be authorized for uploading images.
So can you tell here which kind of website or what was the website you were trying to upload image?

  • Why photos already uploaded to Ipad are erased when I sync other photos using Itunes ?

Why previous photos uploaded to Ipad (retina) are erased when I sync it through Itunes to upload additional photos ?

To keep the photos previously loaded when you previously synced you have to continue to select them when syncing additional photos. If you don't they will be deleted.

  • Why does Photoshop produce images that are from source data Photoshop can't read?

I am getting this message "This image was generated from source data that Photoshop cannot read.  That data will be discarded."  When I open the image the data that has been discarded consists of the layers that were created in Photoshop.  I don't understand why Photoshop can't read data created in Photoshop.

Thank you for the info.  I only have one version of Photoshop on my computer.  The one I created the images with won't open them.  However, I did have a version of Lightroom on my computer that I removed today.  It was newer than my version of Photoshop.  I am hoping that without Lightroom on my computer I will not have any more problems. (cross all my fingers)  The images that are corrupted are missing data.  The Metadata is missing and the layers are missing from the files. If the metadata is missing they won't open at all and if the layers are missing they will open up flattened, some of them are corrupted with data and color switched every which way in the image.

  • Can I upload images that are not photos?

Alright, so to start off I am new to macs. I want to make a website for a project I am currently working on and I want to include on a few of my pages some .jpg/.gif files that are not photos. I have tried looking through everywhere to figure out how to upload them. Can I do it? Or am I being an idiot and just missing something? Thanks

Ah ha, I had missed it at first but now I am enlightened. Just go to Insert and click on choose to add the file. Silly me.

  • Video Thumbnails are Black Using Bing?

This might not be the best place to ask, but does anyone know why all of the video thumbnails are black when I search in Bing? When I hover over them, the preview starts, but other than that I can't see anything. How do I fix this?

Are you trying to view Silverlight or WMV content? If so, you need the appropriate internet plugin: Silverlight or something called "Flip4Mac."

  • Google Image Thumbnails not Loading

As in the title, Google image thumbnails are appearing as blank space on my macbook pro. Please help.

    HI,
From the Safari Menu Bar click Safari/Preferences then select the Appearance tab. Make sure: *Display images when the page opens* is selected.
If that box was already checked, from the Safari Menu Bar, click Safari / Reset Safari. Select the top 7 buttons and click Reset. Relaunch Safari. If Google thumbnails are still not loading ..
Go to the Safari Menu Bar, click Safari/Preferences. Make note of all the preferences under each tab. Quit Safari. Now go to ~/Library/Preferences and move this file com.apple.safari.plist to the Desktop.
Relaunch Safari and see if that makes a difference. If not, move the .plist file back to the Preferences folder. If Safari functions as it should, move that .plist file to the Trash.
    And repair permissions.
Launch Disk Utility. (Applications/Utilities) Select MacintoshHD in the panel on the left, select the FirstAid tab. Click: Repair Disk Permissions. When it's finished from the Menu Bar, Quit Disk Utility and restart your Mac. If you see a long list of "messages" in the permissions window, it's ok. That can be ignored. As long as you see, "Permissions Repair Complete" when it's finished... you're done. Quit Disk Utility and restart your Mac.

  • Why are RAW image thumbnails not being rendered?

OK. I am not sure that I used the right terminology, but I have noticed that Bridge is no longer rendering (? proper term) the Canon Raw image thumbnails properly in Bridge CS6.
I shoot RAW and Small JPEGs. I copy the folder of images onto my external hard from my camera and open Bridge. I see thumbnails of both the RAW and JPEGs with a black border around each image. As Bridge reads each image, the black border disappears from each JPEG thumbnail, but not from the RAW thumbnail like it used to do.
When I click the raw thumbnail once, I get the larger RAW preview image. When I click the larger image and get the loop, the RAW thumbnail then renders and  either the black border disappears from the thumbnail or the corrections made in bridge become visible in the thumbnail.
When the loop is on the larger preview image, the image in the loop enlarges automatically to 200% and I have to take the time to scale it back to read the image selection at 100%.
When I do a batch edit of many RAW images in Bridge, I can click done and the small slider in a circle icon appears above the RAW thumbnail, but the thumbnail is not rendered to reflect the correctiuons made to the image.
This was never an issue before. Bridge was great in reading RAW images at all stages and now it's not.
    Mac OS 10.9.2
    Processor  3.7 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon E5
    Memory  16 GB 1867 MHz DDR3 ECC
Graphics  AMD FirePro D300 2048 MB

Have you selected Prefer Embedded previews from the toolbar, or is it set to High Quality on Demand, or Always High Quality?
Have you tried selecting the containing folder, right-clicking and clicking "purge cache for selection"?
It sounds like you are having problems with the cache. Depending on the number of images you have and the speed of your computer, it might be worth purging the entire cache, but this should be a last resort.

  • Why when I upload a raw image to Aperture

Why when I upload a raw image to Aperture (23.5mb) and make enhancements to it, then when I export it the size drops drastically (2.1mb)?

This totally depends on your export settings. RAW files are minimally compressed, JPEG files are very compressed. What output size are you using, and what JPEG compression settings? Note 8-10 for JPEG compression is the sweet spot between quality and filesize. I personally use 10.

  • Why can't I see image thumbnails of my .psdx files in my Creative Cloud Connection folder?

I am saving my projects to my Creative Cloud account and use the CC Connection. My .psdx files appear in my CC Connection folder as icons, not as image thumbnails. What am I doing wrong?

Btw, which OS are you using?
PSDX files might not be supported by the OS for a preview if that's what you mean about preview.
E.g. I cannot see the previews of PSD files either on a Windows desktop.

  • I have problems with uploading images to my printing company have the images have been manipulated through CS6 i have saved images as jpeg but the printer company tell me they are not j peg, they will not upload images save from a camera are fine

I have problems with uploading images to my internet printing company when  the images have been manipulated through CS6 and  i have saved images as jpeg  the printer company tell me they are not j peg,
but images saved from my phone or camera images that have not been manipulated upload fine, What am i doing wrong?

Save/Export them as JPG. Photoshop defaults to PSD, so make sure you select JPG and not just rename the file to .jpg.
There are two ways to save them as JPG: Regular Save as option or Save for Web & Devices
    Take your pick.

  • Uploading images whit thumbnail to MDM repository using Java API

    Hello,
can someone tell me how to upload images whit thumbnail to MDM repository using Java API?
i get following message using setHasThumbnail(true):
com.sap.mdm.commands.CommandException: com.sap.mdm.internal.protocol.manual.ServerException: Ungültiger Wert für Parameter
    thanks

You can upload images to MDM via the API, but the only way to create thumbnails is via the MDM Data Manager application which uses some embedded libraries to do the work.
