Why is my wall charger not chargering?

My Iphone4s is NOT charging when I plug into Wall Charger. I have tried different outlets. I also have 2 other USB wires and tried them. It will charge with my computer which doesn't help when I am on the go.Got a replacement wall charger not working. So my carrier replaced my phone and still not working

AC Wall Charger not working

Hi, This seemed to be the most appropriate place to post this...
My AC wall charger has just stopped working all of a sudden. The ipod doesn't respond at all when connected to it (it was working fine for the last 7 months). Firstly, it is a firewire one, and i've checked the firewire cable by connecting it to the PC and it works fine. I've tried other wall sockets and it still doesn't work. I've also tried another ipod and still nothing.
I got it included with the ipod mini from the refurbished ipods page last december.
*Any suggestions on fixing it?*
Also, do they have warrantys? I've noticed that it has a serial number on it but its not recognised on the page you use to report problems with the actual ipod.

I doubt it has a warranty anymore. As to being repairable, it might be, but that is one of those things where if you are asking if it is repairable, you probably don't know enough about electronics to do the repair if you can repair it. I.e. do you have a multimeter to get in there and measure voltages to find the dead component?

IPad 2 Wall Charger not working at my home only

This is a strange one. I'm hoping someone has seen this and has a solution. My iPad 2 will suddenly not charge when using the included wall charger but only at my home. I took everything into Apple and the tech found everything in working order at the store (adapter and USB cable as well as the iPad itself). He suggested I try different wall outlets at home (which I had).
On my way home I tried what I thought was a long shot and plugged the wall adapter into a adapter I have that allows you to plug a 110 volt device into your cigarette lighter. This worked and I was able to charge the iPad 2 on the way home.
I have tried a dozen outlets at home now and none of them work. I read some posts about cold booting the iPad and tried that with no effect. I also read posts about changing the order of plugging in the cables. This hasn't changed my situitation.
This iPad 2 is only six weeks old. I was ready to try purchasing a new wall adapter until it charged fine at the Apple store and in my car.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I don't want to have to drain my car battery or waste gas just to charge my iPad.

Update: Apple support hadn't heard of anyone having this problem so I tried something else on my own. I let the iPad2's battery run completely empty and then plugged tried charging it normally (using my home electrical outlet). It worked! My iPad2 is back to charging and working normally. I'm still concerned that there is something wrong with the unit but I'll have to keep monitoring it.

IPhone 5c wall charger not working?

I got the iPhone 5c yesterday and the wall charger is not working. The USB cable itself DOES work because I was able to sync/back it up with my computer and when I plugged it in with the iPad wall charger, the USB cable worked to charge my phone. I mean this piece is brand new out of the box. Not sure if anyone else has had this issue and if it's worth it to take the time to go back to Verizon to complain..?

Sorry that this happened to you right out if the box. You can try to take it back to verizon I would say that all apple products are covered for one year. Because your iPhone 5C is under that warranty you can go to any Apple store and they will swap it out for free for a new one. Just let them know what's appended and they will do it willingly. Why the **** will my charger not charge my computer?!

the batter symbol in the upper right has an X over it and i have tried re-starting it and giving it time without it being on the charger?! also it is incredibly loud, like it is operating loudly ! HELP

If it shows 'X mark' usually it means battery is faulty.
Quick troubleshooting tips.
1) Try resetting the PRAMS , by holding alt + cmd + R + P when you start your Mac hold till you hear 3 startup chime...
2) If first one fails , hold the power button of your laptop till you hear a long beep..

IPhone vibrates once a minute when connected to wall charger, nothing showing up on screen

Hello, I have an iPhone 3GS that I want to repair.
The thing is when connected to a wall charger ( not USB ) it vibrates every now and then...
There is nothing showing on screen, it just stays black...
My Mac doesn't detect the iPhone same for my Windows computer.
What do you think ? Battery ? Display ?

If your Power button of iPhone is broken then you can try the Solution provided by " lllaass" in the below Apple Support Discussion and with the help of that software you can try to take your iPhone in Recovery Mode and with the help of same software you can take your Device out of Recovery Mode and see if it works. And if your iPhone goes in Recovery Mode but you are unable to take your iPhone out of Recovery mode then with the help of iTunes on your Computer you can try Restoring your iPhone to factory settings and see if your iPhone is working fine.

Ipod touch 3g won't charge through usb wall charger

all of a sudden, my ipod touch won't charge through the wall charger i have that i always use, but i can charge from my laptop usb port, does anyone know why, cause the wall charger is broken and im getting a new one, and it doesn't work, do i need to send it to apple to get it fix?

Torch will NOT charge with Wall or Car Chargers, only USB - what is the fix?

About 3 days ago, my Torch decided it no longer wants to work with ANY wall charger, or car charger for that matter. I have been using it just fine for the past 6 months, and charging it just about every night, topping it off for a fresh charge for the morning.
Now, NO wall chargers work, simply no response. The ONLY way I can charge is via the USB cable and my laptop. This is VERY annoying and no one at the AT&T store seems to know what's going on.
I've tried all kinds of battery pulls and reboots - even upgraded to the latest software, downgraded back - NOTHING seems to be working!
What is the solution to this problem? How can I get it to charge again in my wall and car chargers?

If the device (Blackberry phone) will recharge using the computer this means that the port on the device should be functioning properly. The USB port on your computer puts out up to 500 ma at 5 Volts. The voltage regulator in the phone adjusts the power coming in to be in specs to charge the battery. The Blackberry charger is a 700 ma charger. The computer will take about 30% longer to charge the phone.
I have had the connectors on the chargers and car adabtors go defective from handling and use. I have also had chargers fail. Since the phone can be recharged using the computer this tells me the fault has to be with the charging devices you have. Unfortunately these chargers are not serviceable. As for myself, over time I bought a number of spare chargers.
I would strongly suggest to try another charger. Maybe you can go in to a store that sells them and try another charger that they have in stock.
When buying or trying a charger, it would be best to get an original Blackberry charger. This guarantees the specifications will be exactly correct for your phone, and also for the electrical safety for your phone. It is also known that many of the universal chargers will not properly charge the Blackberry phone.

Look the dock connector on your iPod. Look for abnormalities like bent or corred contacts, foreign material and cracked/broken plastic.
Try:
- A reset. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears..
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iPod

Why won't my Note 3 charge with my original wall charger?

For the past couple of days I've been getting a notification on my phone when I plug my phone into the wall charger. It tells me for a faster charge, use the original charger. I am using the wall charger I received with my phone at time of purchase. Last night it took 10 hours to charge from 20% battery life. Is there anything I need to do to help the charger charge normal?

I noticed my Samsung Note 3 battery was not charging properly while on vacation. The phone screen was blinking on several time while charging. After charging for 8 hours, the battery was only 50% charged. I was using the charger that came with the phone. I tried swapping out the phone charging cable with a older Micro USB cable. The phone then charged completely with no issues. It did however take longer to charge. I had already purchased a replacement cable for the phone. The size of the phone connection concerned me and I thought I may have problems later on. What's happening is the twisting of the cable while connecting or handling the phone while charging, is putting stress on the connection. This will cause the cable connection to fail. Now when I charge the phone overnight I use the regular cable. However if I need to use it while charging I will use a older Micro USB cable or just disconnect the cable completely. The older Micro USB connection is smaller and therefore a little more durable. Also to help the battery charge last longer, turn off mobile data, wifi and Bluetooth when not use. I learned that trick with my old phone. I hope this tidbit of info helps others with same problem.

Try a different wall socket - if you haven't already and/or try this.... reset the iPad
Hold down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. then try again.
You could also try updating your software as I have no idea which version you are running on your iPad.

Ipod touch 4g will not wall charge after update

just bought an ipod touch 4g and when i updated it the ipod would no longer charge from any usb wall plug. the only way it will charge is from the computer wich is a huge issue for me becouse i travel alot and i have and apple wall charger so i dont get the point of the update to restrict the actual mobility of the device. please fix the issue with the ios update so use with wall chargers returns becouse it defeats the whole idea of a moble device if you have to carry around a computer to charge it.
