My Iphone 4S WiFi will not connect and is greyed out. Some of my apps won't work & my battery dies quickly.

Why does my wifi not work

My Ipad had a hard time picking up wifi when i 1st bought it. Now after a couple of months has stopped picking up wifi.

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app

    •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

somebody please help. why is my microphone not working? i have replaced the charging port connector, and people cant hear me still. and my wifi ,even though its on, it still unable to search for conections even after i have repladed the wifi antenna. what can this be or what parts must i change out inorder to work.

i appreciate for the response, ummm, ill check the ring on the shield(is it the shield on theupper left side of the iphone 4 that protects all the ribbons?) and actually is backwards with the speake. i have two scenarios. on one iphone4, people can hear me, but when i put it on speaker p hone, they can't hear me. the other iPhone 4, people cant heare either in speaker mode or regular call. i have replaced.the speaker box, i have replaced.the mic/cable connector as well and nothing on either cases. for sure.there is no water damage. what can ot be?

Hi, I have a iPhone and a Mac and an iCloud account, but why does photo stream not work on 4g, but as soon as I connect to wifi, it send photos to photo stream, can please tell why it does not send photos to photo stream when on 4g, thanks.

The data requirements for sending potentially many photos can be too taxing/costly on a carrier's data plan.

Wifi not working again and poor customer service

VERIZON IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST!!There is no good way to put it.Their products seldom work and their customer service is by the worst for any company that I have ever dealt with.They have to be embarrassed with their customer service, but clearly they are not since nothing changes. My internet is out non-stop and every time that I call them it takes around 1 hour to get through. The last phone call that I made (last Monday June 22nd) took 1 hour and 15 minutes before I got through.That is a disgrace and a complete slap in the face to your customers.They never fix the issue. They just put a band aid on it.They said they would send me out a new router that would arrive on Wednesday June 24th. Here I am one week later and we still don’t have a router. I told my wife this would happen. Verizon is so incompetent that it’s easy to predict their next mishap.You would think they would offer to credit my account for the amount of days that I don’t have internet service but that would actually only happen with companies that care about their customers.I know I am just venting to no one, but I would rather vent her than call and sit on hold for an hour before speaking to someone to vent to.I am just counting down the days until my contract is up.I thought Comcast was bad, but they are superior to the garbage service and product that Verizon provide. Network controller& USB controller driver not found and wifi not working

Update: While the driver I knew would work has not shown up yet, I did some detective work and explored some other broadcom wireless card driver folders from some HP links, and I found one that should work for you. While it says it is for HP desktop PC's, they put the exact same wireless card form factor in a desktop PC that they do in a notebook PC. I see no reason why this driver would not work, since the setup information file contains the same hardware ID that you posted. Here is a partial copy and paste of the driver setup information file and you can see the hardware ID you posted is supported by this driver.  x86 - Win7

Sir, my laptop is HP g6 1318ax. When I buy this lap I installed windows 7 but now format it and installed windows 8. But after installing the windows 8 the ethernet port and wifi not working. I download and install hp recommend drivers for win8 but it is not working. Please help me to solve this problem.

QuickTime does work under 10.7, however you may want to check that you're opening the newest copy of it by going to your Applications folder and opening it from there.
If you keep having trouble with opening it, please let us know what error you might be getting. QuickTime X will open with just a menu bar, then you can go to the file menu and choose to open any file you wanted to open, or choose one of the screen or audio recording options.

Why Dynamic Parameter is not working, when i create report XI using stored procedure ?
Only i shaw those parameters which i used in my stored procedure, the parameter which i create dynamic using stored procedure
is not shown to me when i referesh the report for viewing the results.
I have used the same procedure which i mention below but can not seen the last screen which is shown in this .

Dynamic Parameters in Action
My question is that whether dynamic parameter is working with storedprocedure or not.
When i added one table and try to fetch records using dyanmic prameters. after that i am not be able to find the dynamic parameter option when i referesh my report.
One more thing when i try the static parameter for my report, the option i see when i referesh the screen.

I have tested the issue step by step by following you description, while the first issue works well in my local environment. Based on my research, this can be caused by the lookup expression or it indeed return Male value based on the logic. If you use the
expression below, it will indeed only return the Male record. So please try to double-check the record in the two datasets and the expression in your environment:
=lookup(first(Fields!ProgramID.Value,"DataSet1"),Fields!ProgramID.Value,Fields!Gender.Value,"DataSet2")
As to the second issue, please try to use the following expression:
=Count(Lookup(fields!ProgramID.value,fields!ProgramID.value,fields!Gender.value,"DataSet2"))
Besides, if this issue still exist, in order to trouble shoot this issue more efficiently, could you please post both the .rdl file with all the size properties to us by the following E-mail address? It is benefit for us to do further analysis.

Why does Acrobat suddenly not work on my Mac (won't open pdf files from a web page), yet I can open them from my iPhone? Everything worked fine yesteray.

I have a Mac running OS 10.8.5 and I use Acrobat Pro and Acrobat Reader. Today for some reason, any time I try and access a pdf file from a web page, it won't open. I get a blank window. PDF files already on my computer open fine and I can create PDF files from Word docs, but I can't download or view any pdf file from any web page. Strangely, PDF files on web pages open just fine on my iPhone.
I checked that both my copy of Acrobat Pro and Acrobat Reader are up-to-date. They are.
I checked that my copy of Firefox is up-to-date. It is. And nothing changed with Firefox within the last 24 hours.
I am a humble computer end-user. I am baffled as to why this would suddenly not work. I have not changed any settings, etc. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I checked your instructions you sent and as far as I can tell all of my settings, etc for Firefox (plugin updates and preferences) are correct but I am having the same problem.
However, everything works in Safari. I don't have time to attempt to diagnose why Firefox no longer works. I will just switch to Safari.

IE uses a different version of Flash than other browsers use. You need to install the Plugin version of Flash for Firefox.
1.Download the Flash setup file from here: 
[http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player.exe Adobe Flash - Plugin version]. 
Save it to your Desktop. 
2. Close Firefox using File > Exit 
then check the Task Manager > Processes tab to make sure '''firefox.exe''' is closed, 
{XP: Ctrl+Alt+Del, Vista: Shift+Ctrl+ESC = Processes tab}
3. Then run the Flash setup file from your Desktop.

Are you talking about a custom workspace, or actual panels made with Configurator? If the former, then go Preferences > Sync settings. If the latter, then those Flash panels no longer work in CC 2014. Check out any of the multiple threads about Extensions being greyed out.

BTW- Your profile shows you have iOS 6.1.4 installed. The max iOS for an iPad is 6.1.3. iOS 6.1.4 is for iPhones only.
