Why is New Acct Confirm Email Taking SO LONG??!!

I'm trying to create a new account, I put in a new user ID and it said I would be sent a confirmation email hrs ago today. I even had them resend it over a dozen times and even used 2 other emails to no avail.
Why is it taking forever for me to get my account confirmation email for itunes? I did check my spam many times btw on all email accounts and I can't find any email customer service email.

It could be:
1: iTunes website is under stress and will take longer to send out the confirmation emails, or could have a temporary problem or is having maintenance performed.
2: Sometimes, certain sites won't send emails to a certain email domain. But I would have expected that they would have mention this on the registration process.
The new user ID, the email address you provided for this, is it the same email domain has your old user ID email?
By email domain, I mean for example @googlemail.com

Why is my apple tv movie taking so long to download

I've done speed test several times and have 22mbps speeds and have never had a problem with renting movies before, but for the last month every movie I try to rent from Apple is taking hours. Have no such problems streaming on other devices or using on-demand. Been a problem since the last software update, hope it gets fixed soon or I just won't use it anymore.

Also having download issues. Downloading IOS updates through iTunes times out. All non-Apple updates and iTunes content work as speedy as ever.
Oddly, IOS updates done from the device (system preferences on the iPhone and iPad), and not through iTunes, work quickly. Not sure how the server works for one download method and not the other.

Why is "Safari safe browsing data" taking so long to load?

I have a "G4" Touch. Just updated to IOS 6.1.6 but on step 8, "Safari safe browsing data" is taking FOREVER to load. I was using Wi-Fi, but unchecked that, and now just plugged into my MBP. If I can't solve this, how do I just "quit"?

It has less than a minute of edited footage on it. Its been about twenty minutes and the loading bar hasn't budged a single bit despite apparently being so close to finishing.

Why is my mac book pro taking to long to start up

I have had my MBP for 2 months which I use daily for work, mainly excel. However, today my MBP took nearly 2 minutes to start up (ask for my password)

Welcome . Also, you aren't using iOS 5 on a mac. iOS is for iDevices (iPod, iPad). You are using a version of OS X. To find out what version you are running, click >about this mac and it will list 10.x.x. You don't need to reply with what version your have, this is just for your own information.

Yes I think it might take awhile, 5 hours is not too long, but I know what you mean about usually getting confirmation emails right away.. I can't recall how long it took me to recieve my confirmation email, as I registered years ago. It could come at anytime. You will get it soon. If I were you, I wouldn't be worried. I'd just give it more time.

Why is new email signal too late?

I'venoticed from the beginning but now it seems to be obvious. I use built in mail app for iMac access to a single account. I terminate mail app every time and workflow is to start fresh instance and push sync button.
New mail is listed without any signal/notification. After I read most of the emails I hear a audio signal which is dedicated to the configured one. So question is why this signal is played not after first new arriving of email instead after a while? As a programmer I would implement it just after retrieving the first mail. All other makes no sense.
The only indication I have is that an additional push of the sync button processes the busy cursor nearly forever. I tried with different mail account on different servers and all processes on second sync attempt forever. So most likely another iPad bug?

As you recall your account was hijacked earlier this year and during that time some orders were made which we refunded. What does download iCloud mean? You don't download iCloud. You download the content that is in your iCloud backup to your phone. If you have a great deal of content in the backup, it can take a good bit of time.
Define "so long". That doesn't mean anything to anybody here. It's a relative term and we have no idea how much time "so long" is to you.

I can't sign in b/c "your acct is inactive" and I can't register a new acct w/ the same email I used for the original registration. FF7.0.1

When I try to sign in I get "your acct is inactive" message and no info on how to activate it. When I try to register a new acct, I can't use my email address b/c its associated w/ my "inactive" acct. So I opened a new email acct in order to register a new FF acct.

That can happen if you have used the account for quite some time.
Try to post a request to reactivate on the Contributors forum if you can't set a new password.

TS1368 Error message tells me to reset password. After resetting password I get confirmation email that new password is set. As soon as I try to access App Store I get error message that password is not valid.

Try logging out of your account on the iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > Store and then log back in and see if it then works.
