why is hp officejet 6700 black ink almost twice as expensive as the other colors?

The black cartridge is larger and has more than twice the ink of the standard color cartridges.
If you do much printing you might want to consider the XL version of the cartrdiges. The 932XL is rated at 1000 pages for $32 compared to the standard black cartridge rated at 400 pages for $20.

i bought a canon inkjet printer but when it was time to buy the catridges i found the catridges the same price as the printer. wtf

Ink makes ALL manufactures more money than their printers..... and I mean ALL manufacturers, not just Canon. Theres some printer brands out their it's cheaper buying a new printer than a pack of inks.

I am asking myself the exact same question as @keithfromclarkson. Why is the iPhone so darn expensive. My only reason, is because Apple can. People are buying it like hotcakes. But it still bugs me, cost of production of iPhone is significantly less than that for iPad consider the following:

for 2 gb of apple ram for the dual 2.7 is about $300, this ram doesn't even have its own heatsink and is only CL3. why is ram with a heatsink and CL2( which is faster) about 200 $$ cheaper? is there any difference in the ram or is apple trying to make a big profit ?

So, is the Corsair ram you are talking about that which TigerDirect.com has advertised over at dealmac.com today. The after rebate price for a 1Gb stick of 4200 is about $45. Not too bad if it would work in a Quad.

I often call to Ukraine from Canada to stationary and mobile phones. I would like to use Skype. But the phone companies offers a lowest rate than Skype. Why? Do you plan to change something?
Now my phone calls to stationary phones cost 6 cents per minute. To mobile phones 9 cents per minute. No any extra fees.

Why are itunes books so much more expensive than kindle books?

I am a recent convert from Android to iPad and iPhone. Even though I have the Kindle app on both devices and can read my Kindle books, it seemed to make sense to make any new book purchases through iTunes since I already purchase apps and music. However, after comparing about a half dozen books on both Kindle and iTunes, the iTunes books were all higher in price by 30 to 50%. This doesn't make sense to me, so I thought I'd throw it out as a question and see if anyone knew why.

I'm struggling with the same thing. I prefer to buy all things Apple. If the prices were even close, I would, but I just found yet another book that I need for work where Kindle is literally half the price!!!! One thing I won't do is end up with half of my ebooks in Kindle and half in iBooks, so if Apple doesn't fix this, I'm afraid I will have to buy all my books from amazon. And once you start down either path, it's hard to switch back, so I hope Apple is paying attention.

Why do X-Fi Drivers provide more functionality than the Audigy 2 Drive

The X-Fi Drivers work with the majority of Audigy 2 soundcards. Why do Creative not mention this? It even allows Audigy 2 users to use Alchemy!
It's obvious more people are having better luck with these drivers but it seems Creative don't realise they have backwards compatibility.

They don't provide more functionality!? And it doesn't allow you to use ALchemy!?Creative's WDM drivers for DSP-based soundcards have always been architected on a common driver basis, but it doesn't mean the drivers will make an Audigy a X-Fi or vice versa. These drivers are more like NVIDIA's Forceware and ATI Catalyst... ALchemy does not load on the Audigy no matter what drivers you use, because it looks for EAX5 support before initialising. And usually the X-Fi version,?despite having a newer version number, has a positioning problem under OpenAL when used on Audigies.

The black was much more durable, mine flew out my hand and hit the tap, no damage just a big scratch to the back glass because thats where it hit, but it did make the back loose
I had a white, and it smashed the back like 2 inches off concrete, I'm serious.. That's how fragile they are...

1) bring it to a 3rd party repair shop and see what they say
2) pay $149 for another replacement
3) do nothing
4) buy a new phone (iPhone or otherwise)

I don't know how this happen but iStudio in Phuket Thailand (Phuket Alpha) sell iPad more expensive than the announce price by THB 500 for every model
ex. iPad 16 GB wifi normally THB 15,900 but they sell at THB 16,400 for cash only and THB 16,892 for credit card
Do you allow Apple Authorized Dealer to sell any product at higher than announce price? This is really ridiculous of how they do business.

The OP was not comparing the BlackBook to the low end WhiteBook. His question specifically was aimed at the high end WhiteBook compared to the BlackBook. If you add the 160 GB drive to the Whitebook so the specs are the same the BlacBook still cost 125 dollars more. Hence your paying more for it being Black. In my opinion the Black is well worth it.
Check the link out you gave. All three come with one GB of RAM so your statement about more RAM was wrong. The only difference is the BlackBook has a 160 GB drive compared to the 120 GB drive in the high end WhiteBook.
