Why is only half the page printing

i have a Deskjet f380 when i want to print a page, the preview shows only half the page. and it will only print half the page. i checked the setting and they seem to be fine, what gives?

Suddenly my HP J5780 printer releases pages that gradually lose printing -- top of the page OK, middle weak, no bottom. What to do?

Only half the page is showing unless i go into fullscreen mode

when i open the firfox page the left side of the screen is blank and the page seems to be too far over to the right the only way i seem to be able to view the whole screen is to go into full screen mode

go to View Menu -> Zoom -> click "Reset"
go to View Menu -> Page Style -> select "Basic Page Style"
go to Help Menu -> select "Restart with Add-ons Disabled"
Firefox will close then it will open up with just basic Firefox. If above suggestions don't work then
go to Tools Menu -> Add-ons -> Extensions section -> REMOVE any Unwanted/Suspicious Extension (add-ons) -> Restart Firefox
You can enable the Trustworthy Add-ons later. Check and tell if its working.

Why does the new version not print properly? The left half a page prints in a 2 inch column.

When we try to print coupons or articles only the left half of the page prints in a 2 inch column in the middle of the page. This started when I downloaded the latest version of Firefox. When we print from Internet Express, everything prints fine.

Check your margin settings.

Filter = ''margin'' - then look at the left and right margin settings for any that look grossly incorrect - the setting is in inches. Some users with that problem have reported settings like 2.7235879 - IOW a very long numeric string after the decimal point.
Right-click the Value and select Reset or Modify. 0.5 or 0.25 are appropriate settings if you elect to Modify.

I chose double sided printing and it only printed half the pages. it didn t ask me to flip them

I chose doubke sided printing on my F2280 and it only printed half the pages for me. . . . . .I didn task me to flip them round and continue and it is quite a big document to print it over again

Sometimes the wireless MagicMouse can be erratic and seem to automatically zoom in, etc. Try going to System Preferences and detuning the sensitivity settings, see if that helps.

Possibly the kids could have fiddled with it but no one is owning up to it. Any solution to get the printer printing normal again?

You won't see anything obviously related to iCloud, Jimmy. But if you go to the home iTunes Store page while logged into your iTunes Store account, you should see a Purchases link now under the Quick Links header. That's the only part of iCloud active at this time.

In normal view, half the page disappears off right of screen. in full screen this does not happen. what can be done to correct the screen ratio for normal screen?

version 5 loaded on windows 7. all went well for a while. one day while using, ratio of normal screen doubled in width; i.e. half the page disappears off the screen to the right (on a wide screen). when full screen mode applied, ratio is fine. it only happens in normal view, which is the usually prefered option. I cannot determine any means within the program to resize the normal screen. nothing else is affected, only mozilla firefox in normal view. not that when program is opened from keyboard the page is correct for a moment, then enlarges the width with 1/2 page dissappearing.

This issue can be caused by the Babylon Toolbar 1.1.8 extension

Import WORD document with pics - half the pages are missing?

I've got a 100 page Word document, 3 storyboard pics per page.
I import it into a Pages word processing or a layout document ... and I'm missing half the pages. Random chunks have just disappeared.
I wonder what this might be?

I've only come across a couple Word documents that won't import at all and one sounds rather similar to yours. I made two attempts at different methods: 1) Using Word, I saved the document as an RTF and imported the RTF (rich text format) into Pages. That was better but the formatting was seriously messed up. 2) I opened it using TextEdit getting a reasonably accurate document. I then copied and pasted that document into Pages.
Maybe one of these two methods will work for you

I have found that complicated document structures causes Word to split the document into parts, but I've always gotten the whole thing, in multiple documents.
However, with two pages, I can't imagine it is that complicated.
Any odd fonts or paragraph styles?

Do you mean that they don't show in the Purchased tab in the App Store app on your iPad ? If the app is no longer in your country's store then it won't show, you can only redownload those that are still available. Also if you've changed countries since you bought them then they also won't show in the Purchased tab. Or do you have an app age rating set in Settings > General > Restrictions that might be hiding them ?

Page number to get displayed only when the page count is more than 1

My requirement is to print page numbers ONLY if the page count is more than 1 ,i.e. if the data getting displayed in 1 page only then don't print "Page n of m" but if it is getting displayed in more than 1 page then display "Page n of m" on TOP right corner.
I selected "Page n of m" and it creates 3 fields in object hierarchy i.e TextField CurrentPage, TextField PageCount and Static Text field Pages.
I go to the ready:layout of PageCount object, and use below script:

if (this.rawValue == 1) {
this.parent.Pages.presence = "invisible";
I looked at the message Page number not to display but it doesnot resolve my problem.

Hello Ajay,
Script do not work for TextFields. to get the page numbers displayed. Select Text field from library and Go to Object Pallete, Value tab and select "Calculated - Read Only" in Type and choose Runtime property. There you can find the Number of Pages.
Once this is the text field, you can write script on it.
If(this.rawValue == 1)
this.presence = "invisible"
similarly write script for total number of pages, but make sure that variable is accessed properly.
Please let me know, if you still see some issues with it.

Acrobat only converts the page that is displayed. How do I export/convert an entire PDF to word or exel?

I have some huge reports that need to be converted. This is not a one time thing.
When I try to export PDF to word, excel, or any format offered, it:
only saves the headers/footers.
If I select all; it only saves the page(s) displayed on screen
How can I convert an entire PDF to word or excel?
Auto-scrolling is on and that made sadly no difference.
There are too many pages to put it on 10% and view them all on one screen

I tried multiple things which included:
Tools --> Content Editing --> Export File To... [ This saves a blank file ]
Select All --> Tools --> Content Editing --> Export File To... [ Saves only the page that is displayed on the monitor, the rest is all blank except header and footer ]
Select All --> File --> Save As --> Excel or Word [ Saves only the page displayed on monitor ]
File --> Save As --> Excel or Word [ Saves only the page displayed on monitor ]
Select All --> File --> Save As Other --> Excel or Word [ Saves only the page displayed on monitor ]
File --> Save As Other --> Excel or Word [ Saves only the page displayed on monitor ]
Tools --> Edit Text & Images --> Cannot Select All --> Export File To... [ Saves only what is displayed on the monitor ]

This can happen when Firefox has misread the paper size from the information supplied by Windows. Clearing it can involve finding some obscure settings, but here goes:
(1) In a new tab, type or paste '''about:config''' in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste '''print''' and pause while the list is filtered
(3) For each setting for the problem printer, right-click and Reset it. The fastest way is to right-click with the mouse and then press the r key on the keyboard with your other hand.
Note: In a couple other threads involving Brother printers, the preference '''printer_printer_name.print_paper_data''' was set to 256 and when the user edited it to 1 that fixed the paper size problem. If you see a 256 there, you can edit the value by doubling-clicking it or using right-click>Modify.
