Why is product info missing on startup?

I have a Presario CQ61 and it has windows home 7 when I turn on my laptop I get an error message saying my product info isnt valid or missing such as the name, configuration, serial number, and number. How do I restore this info upon startup?

Upon startup my laptop goes to a black screen and says product information missing or invalid on system board. The following info is missing System board (00A)- product name, product serial number, product number. press enter to continue. I press enter and it boots up. What is this message and what do I need to do to correct it?

This happens when it's sent in to HP for repair and the technician has forgotten to reenter this information. The BIOS chip is missing these things.
Other things that cause this are installing a preprogrammed BIOS chip or a bad BIOS flash.
The only way to fix this is to send it to the nearest HP authorized repair depot where they can enter the missing information.
The utility for this is not available to the general public.
Did you replace the system board ?

Elitepad 900 tablet shows missing serial and product info when booting

i recently updated my tablet from windows 8 to windows 8.1 and then updated bios. after this upgrade on boot screen it shows missing aerial number and product info. please note that i have not changed the board or any other hardware. please help me to resolve this.

It is very important that you post the product name or product number of your notebook and the version of the installed BIOS here in your thread.
How to identify your notebook.
Remove the battery and look in the compartment where the battery was installed. You should see a printed part number and a product name. Please post one or both of them (with all alphanumeric characters here).
It also helps if you post the country of purchase

Song and Artist Info missing under itunes but not in the original file, and putting track number next to certian songs. Help

i recently updated my itunes...today i opened it up and moticed abuout 100 songs missing...they are now at the bottom of itunes song list with a number next to them with information mission such as this the example below
01 human                                                                 (this song should have the killers name as artist and cd title, etc)
01 hosanna     hillsong united                                 (this song should have the cd title to it)
02 lay me down                                          burning light
02 leave out all the rest
02 let it be                       the beatles
03 papercut
when i go under the original folders and files in the itunes folder everything is normal no missing info, etc. but under itunes orgnising its picking and choosing the same songs and putting the track number next to it and others songs in the same cd not. plus info missing. under the infor when i click right button all info missing there...but not under original file.
please help

A response on this subject from another post:
It could be that you have inadvertently imported these CDs into iTunes as part of a compilation. If so, the artists won't show in the artists menu on the iPod.
To check, highlight the tracks on one of the offending artists CDs in iTunes, right click and select "get info". This brings up a multiple song info window, and from there you can check if you have 'yes' in the box marked "part of a compilation".
If you have, select 'no' instead and click 'ok'. Do this with any CD that has this issue. This will alter the info in iTunes, and you should then connect your iPod and synchronize the changes.
The problem arises because the information contained on the Gracenote CD Data Base (where iTunes gets all it's album/artist/track info from), is sometimes incorrect. It can show CDs as compilations when in fact they are not.

while creating sales order and saving it, iam getting the error, "subsequent processing not allowed(Customs product master missing 12123). contact customes excise tax dept""........and i cannot save the sales order.
12123 in the error message above is material number.which i give in sales order.......................the message no is FTPI901
what is the issue. ??? at first i thought some coding is done in user exit for sales order.. but i cannot find any such code in exit.

for transfering material master data from feeder system (R/3 / ERP) to GTS follow these instructions:
- go to SAP GTS PlugIn Menue in ERP
Transaction Code: /SAPSLL/SAPLMENUE_LEGAL_R3
- go to Tab "Initial Transfer of Mast. Data"
click on "Transfer Material Masters"
- choose your particular material and execute (F8)

Go to the App Store and check out the Purchases List. If iPhoto is there then it will be v9.6.1
If it is there, then drag your existing iPhoto app (not the library, just the app) to the trash
Install the App from the App Store.
Sometimes iPhoto is not visible on the Purchases List. it may be hidden. See this article for details on how to unhide it.

One question often asked: Will I lose my Photos if I reinstall?
iPhoto the application and the iPhoto Library are two different parts of the iPhoto programme. So, reinstalling the app should not affect the Library. BUT you should always have a back up before doing this kind of work. Always.

Why is trackhistory/hierachy missing on my baseless merges on single WI/changeset?

I use vs2013 and have made a simple tfs Tool, which - among other Things - do my baseless merges so I avoid using the tf command in a command prompt... :-)
The merges works fine but I now discover that my baseless merges loses track history and it looks as if I have persisted the changes directly in the targetbranch - even when they are merged (baseless) from another branch.
The code snippet where I loop thru the changesets in the WI which must be merged looks like this (and is quite self explaining):

System is throwing you this message beacue your FC calander is vaild till 2010 and asking you to put the date btn FC valid from 2004 and FC valid to 2010.
Goto -OP03-Select the Factory Calnder Tab in change mode (pencil mode ) -Select the applicable calender chek box-Double click this -Extende the validit date till 2020 or beyond so that u will not face not only in this particular issue but in many other txn later on .
Agian -come back to OP03 main screen -Slect the Holiday calaner -Extende the same way and reassing in Factory calander
after this , do not forget to re-ssign this FC in respective plant in OP03-Plant assingment .

All I can suggest is checking the master data:
Must have at least one Prod. Supply Area and one control cycle set up.
PSAs are part of the WM-PP interface and are created in WM and are used to group together Work Centres (which are Production master data).
Created under application menu:
Logistics/LE/Master data/Warehouse/Production Supply (Tx LPK1/2/3 see also LS41) and assigned to Work Centres under application menu:
Logistics/Production/Master data/Work centres/Work centre/Change (Basic data view).
(To find out the PSA aka Supply Area from Process Order Display Tx select: Goto \ List \ WM Picklist and scroll to right)
A Control Cycle defines for a given material, Plant and PSA:
which WHS to get the material from
which interim storage type to take it to
which bin to place it in (can be dynamic for pick parts)
Logistics/LE/WM
Master data/Control cycle record/Create

Why is the Macbook missing from the Apple Online store ? Can someone let me know what's going on ?

Gone, *poof*.
I miss it and I think Apple should have kept it around as it's low key machine, great for kids and adults who didn't like a lot of flash.
Now the 13" MacBook Pro is considered the equivalent on a similar performance basis, however it has the bright silver rich looking case that draws thieves attention and really isn't a "Pro" machine at all with it's inferior low performing integrated graphics.
Heck most $500-$800 Windows laptops are just the same in performance and has a larger 15" screen.
If you need a anti-glare screen you have to opt for the 15" or 17" MacBook Pro and pay $50 more for the anti-glare, but it's worth it. The 13" doesn't have a anti-glare option, but we are petitioning Apple to include that option.
I think Apple considered the MacBook as a educational computer, thus replaced it for a line of iPads which make considerable more margins and provides less hardware benefits as all the hardware features, stand, keyboard etc. are separate purchases.

Error in Contract: "Configuration for product is missing"

Hi Experts,
I have a problem with configurable products in CRM 7.0.
I defined a product like configurable setting the flag "Configurable Product" in material master data.
Also, using the "Product Models" functionalities, I created a very simple configuration for my product, adding a set of selectionable characteristics.
So I tried to create a Contract and I inserted in "Item" assignment block my configurable product. The result was that the system gave me the error "Item 10: Configuration for product is missing".
I hoped to find in Contract the configuration that I set for my product.
I think that I lost a step, but I don't know where.

I had a lot of errors on my quotation. To see the configuration I needed to solve all the errors before.
