Why is records number  different?

Hi expert,
I have loaded R/3 GL data into a cube(0FIGL_C01) successful. But one thing confused me very much which is: the transfered and added records' number is different. In my case, transfered records are 117991, but the added are 87929. I have checked the detail message in Monitor, where the data deduction of update to cube took place after update rule, before the update rule all the data number are same( the system generated 2 data packages for this single request, in each packge the different records number added to cube with transfered happened just after the update rule), this means something happened in update rule, right? but I checked the update rule, there's no any routine exist. So could you please tell me what does any operations cause this result?

Hi Paolo,
Thank you very much for your reply. In my understanding of your explanation, if Chars in a cube for example: company code, business area, G/L account, currency type, fiscal year, fiscal year/period, and KFs like Total Debit Postings,Total credit postings, Cumulative Balance. If two records from R/3 which all the chars are same, then only one record will be keeped in the cube but the value of KFs will be added. Am I correct? But if somehow, someone load the data(Full load) one more time, what will be the result?
thank you in advance

  • Why does recording sound different when bounced to iTunes?

What I hear in GarageBand - a nicely mixed finished song with great fidelity - sounds tinny and flat once bounced to iTunes.  How do I get what I'm hearing in GarageBand to be what I hear in iTunes?

    Good point, Christoph
OfViceandMen, are you using iTunes '11?
    The playback settings are distributed:
In Preferences > Playback are "Sound Enhancer" and "Sound Check",
In the "Window" menu is the "Equalizer".
    Happy Easter to you all!

  • In the info bar at the bottom of the iphoto window, why is the number of items different from the total

In the info bar at the bottom of the iphoto screen, why is the number of items different from the total?

What version of iPhoto and system are you running? What mode are you in, i.e. Events, Photos?
If it's the Photos mode the number at the bottom will represent the number of photos displayed in that mode or the number of photos selected in that mode. The number will match the number next to the photos mode only when there are no photos in that mode that are selected.
If you click on the Events icon and then back on the photos icon the numbers should match.

  • MIN number different from phone number/Why

Does anyone understand as to why my phone number is different for a a telephone number assigned to the MIN under phone settings? GO to settings/Status/ then look at MIN. The number assigned to the MIN is a local number but not assigned to me. I called the number and it is a local hospital. I got this phone last week as a CPO Droid X. This was not the case on my original Droid X. They Telephone number and MIN both matched under my prior assigned handset. Any thoughts?

MIN stands for Mobile Identifilcation Number and this identifies your device to the network, it kind of like a up address on a PC. This number wont be the same as your cell number, all devices will have a unique number like this to identify the device to the network.
Hope that cleat things for you..

  • Condition record number issue

    Hi,
I have a situation where in a SA with LP agreement type, one item has 3 conditions PB00 for different periods.
    Valid from      Valid
    Valid from
    valid to
    Price
    01.01.2013
    01.02.2013
    10
    02.02.2013
    01.03.2013
    11
    02.03.2013
    31.12.9999
    10
    Now in A016
Rows 1 and 3 have the SAME Condition record number, So changing Price in row one automatically changes row 3. How can this be resolved?
    Thanks.

    Hi Raghavendra,
I do not have access to the this particular system!! so is this normal procedure what the SS shows. So basically if the price on the future validity period is changed the old/past validity is automatically updated? But why is there a link between the two. If you see the screenshot the other 2 validity periods have a different condition record number.
This is unrelated to prev question but on my client I see that in the SA I can only give one validuty period per item level. How do I enter multiple validity periods with different prices in a SA for one live item? The "Change gross condition  PB00 validity Period" : All fields are greyed out.
    Thanks.

  • Assign records to different remote systems in MDM

    Hello Experts,
I am using qualified range to generate internal number range for vendor. The remote key & remote system details for the records are generated during syndication. My scenario is that I have couple of records in MDM for different remote systems. I want to syndicate it to the respective systems. Is there a way to identify the respective records per system with out inserting the details in "edit key mapping".
If we try specifying Remote system details in edit key mappings with a blank or specific Key value , then the qulaified number generated for vendors is overwritten with this key value mentioned in key mapping.
I need to retain both the qualified range functionality as well as tag the records to different remote systems.
    Kindly advice.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Elizabeth.

    Hi Shiv
So, i am not sure, but this all makes me feel that syndication tasks can not be executed parallel.
Your understanding here is correct since we are using here the same table for syndication process so it will be executed in steps. I mean syndication 2 has to wait until the syndication 1 ends. But the thing is that even after syndication 1 completes syndication 2 is not going to place that's the issue here.
Please find solution which tells same thing in MDM import manager context.
Can I run two Import Managers at the same time?
Yes, several instances of the Import Manager can be open concurrently. The only existing limitation though is when actual importing process starts the tables involved in the importing process are locked for write access. So if two instances of the Import Manager import to different tables then no synchronization issue occurs. If they use the same table, then the instance getting access second has to wait until the first ends.
For more details, Please refer this below link:

@ Elizabeth: After Syndication 1, Have you checked after sometime whether syndication2 & so-on takes place or not. I feel that Syndication for syndication 2 , syndication 3 & syndication 4 should also occur after some time as they executed one by one not parallel so will take some time. Just check and revert with result whether your workflow gets completed after some time or not.
Note: Make sure that for all these Syndications outbound ports Processing Type = Manual in Console else syndication will not occur.

  • Modify Record Number in a Random Access File

Hi Does anyone know if I can modify the record number in the random access file hardware.dat for each hardware record each time and update it in hardware.dat to display it? Also why does it say "Record does not exist" if I modify the record number for a hardware and try to update it but could not find that record?

Hi Does anyone know if I can modify the record number
in the random access file hardware.dat for each
hardware record each time and update it in
hardware.dat to display it?If the "record number" is data that is stored in the file, then you can modify it. More precisely: it is possible to modify it.
The rest of the question had too many incompatible verbs for me to understand it.
    Also why does it say
"Record does not exist" if I modify the record number
for a hardware and try to update it but could not
find that record?"Record does not exist" is a fairly reasonable error message for the situation where a program looks for a record but cannot find it. Are you asking why that particular lump of code actually does that?

  • Why Reports format behaves different in Excel and browser(if desformat=html or pdf)?

1-Why Reports format behaves different in Excel and browser(if desformat=html or pdf)?
2-I made three queries Q1,Q2 & Q3 and linked them with proper field links but suppose Q3 returns no records for some Q1&Q2 records & when the report runs for delimited options it reflects only those records as output for which all the queries return records(if Q3 returns no record then the related records from queries Q1,Q2 don't reflect) while the output in desformat=html or pdf is ok..
can you please resolve my problems
( I have installed patch 5a in my report server machine)
    Thanks & Regds.

What do you mean by "different"? (In our
experience, Oracle html output has too many
columns, which are not visible in the
browser but are obvious in Excel.)
We build our own html programmatically, so
that Excel matches the browser more closely.

  • Why do the number of active JMS connections increase?

    <strong>Problem</strong>
    - Number of active JMS connections and current JMS messages increases until the Weblogic instances crash with an OutOfMemory exception
    <strong>Setup</strong>
    - Weblogic v9.2.3, Cluster with 4 Nodes
    - A JMS Message is sent from a MDB in Weblogic to a distributed queue which has a member on each of the 4 Weblogic nodes. The session is created as follows session = connection.createSession(false,Session.AUTO_ACKNOWLEDGE), the message delivery mode is set programmatically to persistent and the delivery mode override of the queue setup is set to persistent too
    - Standalone JMS client processes: each one is attached to <strong>all</strong> 4 nodes. Each one uses a unique JMS message selector so that we have more than one queue consumer for one queue but every message is exactly dedicated to one queue consumer. We us weblogic.jar for the clients.
    - Use of Weblogic auto reconnect feature. JMS client code:
    Connection connection = this.connectionFactory.createQueueConnection();
    final WLConnection wlconnection = (WLConnection)connection;
    wlconnection.setReconnectPolicy(JMSConstants.RECONNECT_POLICY_ALL);
    wlconnection.setTotalReconnectPeriodMillis(-1);
    wlconnection.setReconnectBlockingMillis(-1);
    <strong>Remarks and Questions</strong>
    - There are no pending JMS messages which is good
    - In our setup, each JMS client is connected to all 4 nodes as the messages are not distributed to all nodes: if a message is put to Queue A but the client is only connected to Queue B, the message is NOT transfered from Queue A to Queue B. We set the parameter "Forward Delay" to 5 seconds with no effects. Is this the normal behavior?
    - Not all JMS clients are visible in the Weblogic console under JMS Services -&gt; JMS Servers -&gt; [Server] -&gt; Monitoring -&gt; Active Connections. Which one are visible? Which one are not visible? There are also clients where the number of connections is not zero but stays constant; we know that as several independent clients on different hosts are started and the IP adress is visible in the Weblogic console. Why....?
    - What reasons can lead to increasing connections? Is this due to client or server problems? Do we have to acknowledge the message in the onMessage(Message) method of the client JMS consumer? So far as I know, we don't have to.
    - Are the increasing number of current messages due to the increasing number of JMS connections?
    - May the RECONNECT_POLICY_ALL policy produce this problem?
    Any hint is appreciated.

To answer the question about the forwarding of messages from one queue to another myself: As mentioned at http://forums.bea.com/thread.jspa?threadID=400000611, the forwarding for queues does only work if all queue consumers are attached to the same queue. This means that our setup is OK.
But the main question is still unanswered: why do the number of active JMS connections increase? I forgot to mention that
    - all messages arrive at the clients and that no exceptions are visible in the log
    - if you kill the client, the connections are still visible in the Weblogic console!?
Please help as this problem is very urgent.

  • Why same query takes different execution time in sql 2008

    Hi!
With below query in SQL Server 2008 R2 when I change Book_ID  to another value like '99000349'  it takes very long time to execute while both result sets have same number of records!?
    select Card_Serial,Asset_ID, Field_Name,Field_Value,Asset_Number,Field_ID,Book_ID from dbo.vw_InspectionReport where Book_ID='99000347'
I've test it more and more,A time I ran quickest one, or longest one first, restart Windows, but for some specific Book_ID values (although with same number of result set rows) it take multiple time slower than rest of Book_IDs.
Also showing state of the result set is different for these diffrent Book_IDs:
for fast ones it looks like below picture:
for slow ones it looks like below picture:
if you note, order of returned records are different!?
I'm waiting for your kindly reply!...

Do you see any changes if you add a hint to the query?
    select Card_Serial,Asset_ID, Field_Name,Field_Value,Asset_Number,Field_ID,Book_ID from dbo.vw_InspectionReport where Book_ID='99000347OPTION(RECOMPILE)

  • Why do we have different partners KU?

    HI Guys
It might sound like a dumb question but I am trying to understand why do we have different partner profiles for KU type.
I understand they are different customers and hence different but...
My scenario is we are posting ORDERS (IDOCS) for 6 different customers. Currently we have 6 KU profiles. However suggested approach is since all of them are only doing ORDERS and same IDOC (version etc) to make them all as only 1 KU.
I hope that clarifies why I am asking the above question. I am trying to establish the pro's and con's of each approach.
    regards

    Dear Mimranacc,
You maintain partner profile for each partner and maintain inbound and outbound parameters. Receiver partner number will be different for each partner in the IDoc data. Also, you would maintain outbound parameters. Here you will specify where to send data.

  • Interaction record number is populating in"Related Knowledge Article" field

    Hi,
I'm creating a Problem in IC....Once I click on save in problem management a interaction record will be created which was expected but the Interaction record number is Populating automatically in the "Related Knowledge Article & Related request for change" fields in the Problem management....No clue of where I need to change the things....Please advise...
    KK.

    KK,
It looks like the issue is with your document flow. Most likely the standard handler class CL_CRM_DOCFLOW_RUN_BTIL was replaced with some custom class. This is where SAP cleans up those follow up transactions (eg: IRs) which do not match the correct type requested (eg: Problem, KA). Check your config in:
Customer Relationship Management -> CRM Cross-Application Components -> Generic Interaction Layer/Object Layer -> Component-Specific Settings -> Business Transactions -> Define Custom Handler Classes for Business Transaction Model Nodes
If the class for object BTDocFlow has been replaced, look into the new class, specifically method GET_MULTI_ID. (Note that you have to append RUNBTIL to the structure name in this table to get the actual class). This method is where SAP does the cleanup work. If this method does not have all the logic that is available in the SAP standard class, then that is why your IRs are not getting filtered out when SAP is trying to find related Problems or Knowledge Articles.
Hope that helped. If not, let us know so that we can suggest another direction.

  • Request Number, request id, datapackage number, record number

    Hi friends,
Please help me out in figuring out the relation between between terms - Request Number, request id, datapackage number, record number.
    Regards,
    Simmi

    Hi Simmi,
One Request number cannot have many Request IDs...for clarification between the number and ID, do the following: In RSA1 select an ODS which has some data, right click and select Manage. On the requests tab you can see the different requests loaded to the ODS. The first column you will see if called Request ID. This has numeric values of the request ID.
Now on any row, click the monitor button (blue icon). This takes you to the data load monitor. On the right hand side you will see the Header tab. On this, the first item is Request and it is represented with a long name starting with REQU_.... (called GUID). Click on Request and here you can see Request Number and SID. This SID is nothing but the value that you saw in the ODS > Manage screen.
    Hope this helps...
