Why is tabbed Finder useful? I do not understand the purpose
I have used the Mac for many years, but do not understand why having tabs in the Finder is useful- can anyone explain why this is a big deal? The color tags also don't seem like it adds much, but I can at least understand the organizational logic.
Why would someone open multiple Finder windows anyway?
Fads, my friend, fads. Someone at Apple wanted to get on the "tab" bandwagon and now they're trying to put tabs everywhere. Even where it makes no sense at all and only complicates the user interface...
Same thing with tags: some people (Evernote, among others, is notable for refusing to allow more than two hierarchical levels) can't organize their documents in a hierarchical way. Using nested folders, etc.
They invented this "new" approach where you keep everything at the same hierarchical level, but add a (or several) flag to an item (file, folder) to make it a member of a "group".
Same thing with the "look" of OS X. There was the 3D epoch where the designers tended to make things stand out (icons, for example). Now, we're entering the "flat look" epoch...
Fads have a tendency to come and go. In a while, we'll go on to something else, dreamed up be the latest "designer" to work on something...

there may be several reasons why your credit card may be declined by the iTunes store ,
the reason the iTunes store require c.card when you setup your apple id is for verification purposes
if you have called the iTunes store in the past about unrecognised charges, or unauthorised activity ,

I am getting a 'MIDI timeout' error message when I open garageband. I am not using any other apps so why is this happening. Restarting does not solve the issue.
I should also add that I am using core audio, no external MIDI device and Garageband v 6.0.5. Thanks

Why does my grandson's iPhone 5 not have the "None" option in billing info? I have it on my iPad Mini and on my iPhone 4S. We both live in Canada within 20 minutes of each other.

I wrote the Server Application with Tuxedo version 8.0.
And used tuxedo71 WS client to call the service.
The client application displayd tpinit fail.
ULog told me "prv7.1 not allowed,use -t option on wsl".
Is there any way to solve this problem?

Yes there is a way to solve this. As the error message suggests, use the -t
option on your WSL server. Look at

I wanted to know why they call me when I do not show the number but I get the words private number, and even when I call out to another private number.I tried it in the settings to activate id shows but nothing has changed. I hope you can help me.
Cloud programs do not use serial numbers... you log in to your paid Cloud account to download & install & activate... you MAY need to log out of the Cloud and restart your computer and log back in to the Cloud for things to work

We go for creating FM when there is a chance of using the same code in different reports in R/3.
Suppose I have a requirement say, to display the Payer Name for every sale order.
This is most common requirement in any project.
You can create a FM say READ_CUSTOMER_NAME in SE37.
Write a select statement from the table VBAP to fetch the Payer Name based on the Sales Order.
Now you can activate the FM and it is ready to be used across all the reports in R/3.
Need : To avoid redundant coding and to modularize the code.
If you want to see the list of Standard FMs, got SE37 --> press F4 and you'll get all the SAP standard FMs.
For customized FMs (User defined), type Z* or Y* and press F4.

Why does f12(preview in browser mode) not render the page correctly? Instead when i go to the main or original file, it renders properly? It is drriving me nuts! HAHA! just that one of it is a f12 (preview in browser) while the other one is going to the directory and clicking the html page by itself.
F12 is simply a hot key that launches your browser.
The only thing I can think of to explain this is that you have a local site folder someplace in addition to a testing server site.
When you hit preview, your testing server on the localhost/ is being called up in the browser.
When you open the HTML page directly, you're seeing the local site file with unparsed data.
Try disabling your Testing Server in Sites > Manage sites > Edit...
