Why is Telemetry enabled by default when support page says it should be disabled in release builds?

Page at https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/privacy/firefox/#telemetry says Telemetry feature should be disabled by default in release builds. I just updated to 34.0.5 and it is enabled. I don't know if in a previous version is was enabled and it kept the same state, but I never manually set it to enabled.

hello itabirca, just to be sure: you did look at options > advanced > data choices to check if the extension was enabled?
did you use a firefox beta release or the testpilot addon in the past?

Why is V1.05 the latest when my version says 3.0?

How do i get itunes to accept my debit card. When i fist made my account everything was fine but after a few purchases it was declined, i have money in my account so i do not know why it would have been declined. My bankacount says it should go through?

I set up everything with no problems the first time. I have money in my account and i made a few purchases though the app store, then all the sudden it says my card is declined... but i havemoney in my account, it makes me try to change my billing informaton. I contacted my bank and they said there is no reason that my card should be getting declined. I cannot download anything, or update the downloads that i already have... this is so fusturating, any ideas to fix this.

This was changed. Apple no longer accepts debit cards as an acceptable form of payment. This Apple support page lists all accepted forms of payment.

I'm trying to download Bioshock Infinite from the app store and get a message saying there isn't enough disc space; but the Bioshock support page says I only need 30G and I have 60 free on my hard drive

Whoops, I think I should have posted my message here...Anyway, I'm trying to download Bioshock Infinite from the app store but get a message saying I don't have enough disc space. The game requires 30 G and when I look at my internal hard drive it shows 60 G free.

It sounds like you are mixing up several different things (or not using the terminology that Apple uses).
One thing is backup. You can backup via icloud or via iTunes and there is no reason you cannot do both -- I do and the second link below from Apple gives instructions. Doing a backup will include photos from the Camera Roll in the backup but you will not be able to see the results -- all of the backup data will be stored on iCloud or on your computer in files that are not designed to be accessed by you for any purpose other than restoring to your phone in the event of a problem. If you simply want to transfer photos from an iPhone to a computer, the terminology Apple uses for that is "import" and it is done without iTunes. New photos (taken after you change the setting) can be done via PhotoStream which is a cloud based option. The other option is via cable. Instructions for both: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4083

How to populate only the first record by default when the page opens?

I am using OAF R12 and my requirement is as follows:-
When the user opens the custom OAF R12 page, I just want to query the first record from the underlying VO.
For example, If the table has 10 rows, I just want to query the first row as soon as the page opens.
I have written the below code:-

How to set "choose template" as default when open pages?

I am new to pages/numbers/keynote. My pages starts with the document browser and not with the "choose template" menu. However, on my second account this is not the case, here it starts with "choose template". Anyone knows how I can change this?

I have set my Pages'09 to open to a standard template, as prescribed, however, every time I open a new document it asks me to chose a template or start a new document. Pages'09 used to just open to the document, with my chosen template, automatically. Is there a way to fix this? The template that I created is what I want 99.99999% of the time.

Rationale for transparent_hugepage support being enabled by default?

So, my machine has always seemed to be a bit less responsive that it should be for the beefy 16G RAM, SSD, i7 quad core machine that is, but I could never really pinpoint why it was slow. Chrome/Chromium would always consume CPU and sometimes lead to stuttering(ie, periods of a few seconds consuming 100% CPU across all cores).. Or VMWare would just seem extremely slow with similar stuttering. And they were always linked somehow. When Chrome stuttered, all other applications worked fine, but VMWare completely froze until Chrome started responding again. And vice-versa.
While chasing down why Chome 38 made this issue about 500% worse (to the point that I was about to forget it and install firefox instead) I was looking in top and noticed that khugepaged would use quite a bit of CPU at the same time. I googled it on a whim and came across a magical pair of instructions:
echo madvise > /sys/kernel/mm/transparent_hugepage/enabled
echo madvise > /sys/kernel/mm/transparent_hugepage/defrag
Suddenly, instead of VMWare idling at around 30% at all times and Chrome processes idling at 2-3% each (not to mention horrible stuttering for both), now VMWare idled at around 5%, and Chrome processes weren't even on the map.
One of my friends tried this and suddenly he saw huge performance gains as well on an Ubuntu system.
I want to understand why this is enabled by default. I tried searching for it and found a few broad overviews of what it does.. but not why it's useful, and most of the results I see (including on this forum) are all suggestions to turn it off to improve performance or avoid kernel thrashing.
Can someone tell me what transparent_hugepage support is enabled for, what applications or workflows it might make better, and why for all the problems I see in search results, it's still enabled by default?

AFAIK, there are no security issues around Privacy Extensions... I assume you meant privacy.... That could be a valid compromise in the situation. Constantly getting error 302 when trying to export release build

As the title says, I can't export a release build (any more) with Flash Builder 4.7 using AIR 3.5 (or 3.6 beta for that matter).
The compilation process is immediately interrupted with error 302: Root content ... is missing from package.
What can I do about this?
BTW: @Adobe support, please check the forum login! I also constantly get an error 413 wich cancels the login process. Had to go to a computer where my cookie has been saved to get here.
Edit: Using the debugger (iOS Simulator or ADT) works, though. Could someone please shed some light into this? I really have to test a release build.

So, even after setting up a new project, the problem didn't go away. Seems as if the problem sits within the libraries I'm using, though none of them do show any errors or problems.

I was wrong accusing Flash Builder on this one! I've had two asset source paths that overlapped and apparently, Flash Builder can't handle that when you try to make a release build. Again, debugging always worked fine. I didn't get any warnings either, so it took me quite some time to even think that that might be an issue.
Still, the pletheora of Flash Builder bugs remains!
Found a new one with is also rather annoying recently;
Open the local history of a file and try to copy some text from that file, you'll instantly get a java nullpointer, resulting in the fact that the text isn't copied to the clipboard.

That last edit was actually based on a premature thought of success. Unfortunately, the project still doesn't compile. There are no errors or problems whatsoever in neither of the library projects or the main project.
Edit3: - Finally solved it!
After re-installing FB4.7, thus overwriting the old installation with all it's SDKs, I figured that the merged SDKs might have been causing this issue.
I've merged SDKs several times before using FB4.7 and it worked fine all the time, the absolutely ridiculous way Adobe forces us to update the AIR SDK with 4.7 is so prone to error, that I might have made a mistake this time though.
So for everyone who struggles with this issue as well, make sure your SDKs are in order! Also check the version numbers in air-sdk-description.xml which is located in the AIRSDK folder.
