Why is text garbled and overlapped when I paste in Flash

Why is text garbled and overlapped when I paste in Flash from other sources. The documentations suggests you can paste and text will fill columns automatically but I just get a clump of text in a very small space.

It could be the case you are using. If your iPhone is in a case, take it out of the case and try taking a flash photo again. If it comes out ok, you may want to get another case. Look for a case with a larger camera hole. If you are using a transparent case make sure it is painted black around the camera hole.

i have just updated my iphone 4 16gb to an iphone 5 16gb
The iphone 4 had horrific problems, for example: Cutting out on calls, it going silent, me not being able to hear the person i was speaking to and them being able to hear me, and then visa vera.. also the main button at the bottom started to break.. my text messages weren't sending and then when they did they would send several of the same one.. also with mixed messages in them.. some of the texts had been form ages ago and had been deleted anyway and bits of them would re appear in the middle of the text, but only show to the person recieveing the text.
I thought all of this might have been some water damage as i had nearly had it for 2 years... However on Tuesday.. ( 29th Jan) i recieved my new upgrade of the iphone 5.. i was so excited, but then today.. 2 days after recieving it, its starting to do EXACTLY the same things my old phone did... cutting me off, going quiet on the phone, not sending texts, then sending several ones... sending mixed texts. Safe to say i am fuming!!! i am with vodafone and rang them today asking why?! they said it couldnt be my handset as its a new one, couldnt be the sim because thats new too so it must be the area signal.. so she checked for me.. came back to me and said that the signal in my area is perfectly fine....?!?!?! that makes it even worse!!! so i have asked to return it....!! i was going to go with a different provider thinking that it was vodafone??but after looking on here it seems like its apple? i am very disappointed as i love everything else about the phone, but its impossible to have a phone like this! especially when i use it for work too!

My wife is having the same problems as a reciever. She works in a school as a teaching assistant and her teacher sends messages that are mixed with previous texts from ages ago.
Can anyone shed some light on this problem or is it only her and this poster?

Why is my text rasterized and blurry when it loads in an object state?

My fonts are coming out blurry when I use them in an object state and the state is displayed, but nice and clear when placed on the main page outside of an object state. I'm using viewer 25 for my folio version and viewing it in adobe content viewer on the ipad. It is not yet published. Thank you.

You need to keep in mind that DPS is still very much a cobbled onto InDesign solution. MSOs were intended for SWF output and any changes beyond that happen in the folio overlays panel.

Radio buttons (from Indesign) get larger and overlap when fields are highlighted in Acrobat X

I have created my first set of interactive forms using Indesign CS6 Buttons and Forms dialog box. As the formatting of the fields does not seem to carry over, I have left the text boxes as Indesign objects and added text fields over the top of them in Acrobat X. I also intended to add drop down menus in Acrobat instead because I didn't like how the Indesign list box behaved in Acrobat (having to click through each item rather than dropping down the entire list). There does not seem to be a way to add a drop down menu item from within Indesign. (Or if there is, can someone please point it out? :-) )
However I used the sample buttons supplied within Indesign to create radio buttons and check boxes (which automatically included the graphics for the different states). On my first test export to Acrobat it appeared that the buttons retained their formatting, but something rather strange is happening when the fields are highlighted, whereby the buttons enlarge and overlap each other. Very frustrating I must say! I have just about gone nuts trying to find a solution. I've tried several different button options from the sample set; I've created them from scratch within Indesign; I've attempted to resize the fields in Acrobat form editing mode, but this screws up the original buttons. I also have found that once selected in Acrobat, I cannot deselect them again. (Don't know if this is significant info but it may point to some kind of stacking problem??)
Anyway, to make it clearer here are some screen captures:
1. Form as it looks when opened in Acrobat X. The two different check box styles are from me experimenting in trying to fix this issue. But they all seem to behave the same way once highlighted.
2. Form when interactive fields are highlighted. The text fields are perfect but note the big ugly overlapping circles... :-(

I am having the exact same problem. I can't find a way around it. It seems that they included some states like normal, rollover, and click—but they didn't include a highlighted state. So when highlight fields is on it just shows the generic standard check box, which looks ridiculous if you have customized it at all in inDesign. I read a lot of people saying they can't find a way to change the highlight state—anyone out there have any answers?

Why is IE7 garbling my layout when every other browser (inc IE8) is cooperating?

I can't figure out for the life of me why IE7 is garbling the layout of my of my products. I'm pretty solid on the other browsers and on Macs.
There are two types of products in my Magento store: Basic Products and Configurable Products.
It is displaying the Configurable Products correctly here:

Your compressed CSS code is terribly hard to sift through, so I didn't look closely. But my guess is that you've got a float drop problem. It's noticable in IE6 too.

Has anyone experienced a microphone failure in Texting, Notes, and Siri when switching to ios 7?

Last night I updated my ios from 5 to 7.1.1 on my iPhone 4s. Ever since, I have had no microphone use in Siri, texting, or Notes. But the microphone DOES work fine on the phone and in Dragon. When I am in a text message, and I press the microphone icon, it comes on for less than a second, then shuts off. I have re-started to no avail. I found an identical problem reported here, but saw no answer... This isn't an acceptable situation. Ideas?

If you have performed all of those troubleshooting steps, I would next call the carrier and ask them to reset your voicemail and reset your password. This should take care of it on the phone.

Saving text messages and pictures when resetting

I want to reset my iPhone to factory default because one of my buddies jailbroke it and I hate the jailbroken version. It's slow and annoying. Is there a way for me to save all of my text messages and pictures, reset the phone to factory default, and then put all the texts and pictures back on?

You can import the photos in your iPhone's Camera Roll as with any other digital camera and then transfer the photos to your iPhone via the iTunes sync/transfer process as with any other photos on your computer's hard drive that you want available on your iPhone for viewing.

The same does not apply to text messages. The only way to transfer text messages back to an iPhone restored with iTunes is to restore from the iPhone's backup, and you can't select which data that is included with the iPhone's backup that is transferred to the iPhone. It is all or none with the iPhone's backup.
There are 3rd party utilities that provide for extracting messages from your iPhone's backup for access on your computer.

My phone is not receiving text messages and depending on where I am it also does not send, it gives me a message failure. Then if I send it as a text message instead of imessage it will go.
Any ideas how to fix it?

Why does text not format correctly when pasting into outlook?

Basically, I receive an email from customer. I draft an email to respond and send to my boss to get approval. Once my boss approves, I go back to my original sent email and copy and paste into a reply to the original email from my customer but for some reason in Outlook for Mac it doesn't format correctly. It always pastes the text in a sorda column if you will, as though word wrap isnt working. When I send it, it looks even worse to the customer, especially if they are looking at it on a phone. I have looked high and low and cant find an answer. Thanks in advance!
FYI I copied and pasted the text into "Pages" to show exactly what it is doing.

Why is text, icons and pictures pixelated on my retina macbook?

I have a late 2012 retina macbook pro 15.4 inch. I have the nvidia 650m 1gb card. all mac icons and webpages look great except some icons, when I open a file and I am browsing for the icons for pictures, txt files or video are pixelated and of poor quality.
Like if i use "open" on photoshop and I am browsing for photos it has every thumbnail and icon pixelated, and it does this everywhere, not just photoshop.
Also in photo shop, text and signatures for my photography business are all pixelated even the actual picture until i zooom in.
What is going on?

My phone won't send outgoing mail. Won't send some text messages and now when it's not on wireless and only 3g the internet won't load. Help!

These are ongoing problems. I really want to go back to my android. This moring the problem was sending outgoing mail. I have done a restart. I have cleared my cookies. Some text messages I have to send twice to non-apple phones. When I'm not on wireless and I'm on 3g there is no point in even trying the internet. Very disappointed in this phone.

if your having issue with your 3G service, then you should contact your cell phone provider as they handle cellular networks.
in the mean time you can try a reset, hold down the home/power button together until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for you phone to boot back up.

Why do I get and error when attempting to install the lighting calendar that it is not compatible with firefox 34.0.5..

I am using firefox 34.0.5, my thunderbird is 31.3.0 and I am attempting to install the lightning calendar. I checked the compatibility list. I downloaded the correct version of lightning and each time i attempt to install any version it fails and gives me the errors that this version is not compatible with firefox 34.0.5. I have tried five different versions of Lightning with the same results.

Retaining SFX and music when copying/pasting one project to another

I noticed that when I tried to copy/paste one project into another, the video makes it, but any added sound effects and background music do not get brought along.
Does anyone know how to override this, so when I copy and paste the project, the SFX and music get copies and pasted, too? Thanks.

I spoke with AppleCare and they said this is not possible.
